I am booking a trip for 5 people. We are flying into Stockholm and we fly out of Copenhagen. We will be visiting several cities in Sweden before ending up in Copenhagen. I am a bit confused on the type of pass to purchase. We plan to go from Stockholm to Gotenburg to Malmo to Copenhagen spending a few days in each city. What do you suggest?
Hi, I have a mobile global pass (10 days in 2 months). Unfortunately, my phone broke in the middle of my trip and I am unable to add my pass to my new device. I tried to reach our to the customer support through email and social media but I'm yet to receive a response. I'm very worried as with each passing day, I stand a chance of losing more and more money as I have already made accomodation reservations in multiple clities. I feel helpless about it and it is too expensive for me to buy tickets for traveling while they work on my case. Is there by any chance s physical office of Interrail that I could visit in Germany or the Netherlands to fix this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated as it is extremely urgent. Hi, I have a 1st class 6 day pass that I intend to start using in a week. I would like to know from experience how others have found the travel around Switzerland by train? Already have plans to visit a number of areas in a week so as I understand it:Each day I want to travel I need to use my phone and add the train journey to it (so Basel to Zurich for example as a journey in the app) Certain tourist type trains (such as the Bernina Exp). require a seat reservation too.One question, with the 6 days I know I can use them any day in a month but I will be using them one day after another so do I have to plan journeys in calendar order? So can I make a seat reservation on the Bernina Exp. say on the 17th today, add to the app as a journey and then tomorrow add a journey to the app for the 14th? My pass is set to be active from the 12th.Many thanks for thoughts and advice
Hello! My current phone got formatted last night due to software updates. In it the pass was valid. And now I when I try to add my pass again on the same device but since it's formatted, I'm unable to add because the app shows me an error that it is already valid on another device. Could you please deactivate the pass on that device so I can again validate on it again?I have already raised a request using the form but it seems that would take a couple of days.So it would be great if you could do it quickly because I am travelling tomorrow and I would need to show that pass.Thank you for your help in advance. Hi, I accidentaly bought the wrong pass so I’ve bought a new one and I’m currently waiting for a refund on the old one.I noticed, when booking my seat reservations through the Interrail site, that it does not ask for a specific pass number at any point. Are seat reservations linked to a specific pass number or are they just linked to my account/my name? I’ve already purchased one reservation and I’m worried it will be linked to the pass I’m waiting to be refunded and not the new one.I’m starting my trip in just a couple of weeks so I’m anxious ro make my reservations but not sure if I need to wait until my old pass is refunded.The reservations I’ll be making are on the eurostar from london to paris and in france.Thanks
@Nanja Hey, I've seen that you're here to sort of help with queries and stuff, I'm really stuck!I had to restart my phone and then log back into my interrail app. Once I tried to log back in it said that my pass was linked to another device so it couldn't be added to this device - but its still my same phone! I had to buy another train ticket to start my journey, but I still can't log into my interraill app with my pass as it won't let me!I have already bought the ticket though interrails website and made reservations etc. Please, is there any way you can help me?
I need to go by train on 2 days. I have a global pass for 10 days in 2 month. The pass is active until 22.06.2022. If I search for a journey, I get connections, but after confirmation there is the old date in it. If I want to add a trip to my pass, there is no option for mobile pass and I get errors. Please help me. This is horrible for such an expansive pass.Thanks in advance
Hello, I am looking for my pass cover number to make a seat reservation. I booked my interrail ticket yesterday and I found out that you need to make a seat reservation for the eurostar either on the interrail/eurorail website (apparently currently not working) requires my pass cover number which I do not have (mobile pass)Could someone help with this? Hi, my girlfriend and I are looking to book some French and Italian trains which require a cover number, but we both have mobile passes. I’ve gathered this is a v common problem, so was hoping somebody would be able to sort us out with some cover numbers asap so that these trains don’t get all booked up!(i will happily provide both mine and my girlfriend’s reference number via pm) Thanks!
Please let me know if you have any issues with the App:no issues some issues a lot of issues!! also, what type of phone (iPhone, Android, etc.) you are using the version of the App you are running.I have a new iPhone 13 Pro Max (iOS version 15.4.1; app version 23.1.0) and the App will NOT save my journeys. It’ll save the first journey but I’m unable to save any others to the trip. (Sometimes, it’ll save another journey, but if I close and reopen the App, the additional journeys have disappeared.)I bought 2 (2 Day Flexi Pass) Eurail France Passes. I have added then in the App, connected one pass to my trip (I added my husband’s pass in my App but haven’t connected the pass yet). I haven’t activated either pass.I’m hoping the information we gather in one thread could help Eurail in some way. I searched and read through other posts and I’d like to hear from the community to maybe narrow down which of us are having issues and why... The only way to know is to also hear from members of the
Hey everyone, I’m a British citizen who has been living in Australia for the past 5 years. I also have permanent residency for Australia. Can I still purchase the interail ticket or does it need to be eurail, I’m a little confused! I’m 25 and before this spent my whole life in the UK. Thank you!
I entered all my journeys into My Trip, for my pass use. I have not activated my pass yet, as our journey begins in a month. However, the second to last journey (Bruges to Brussels) keeps jumping to the end of the list of journeys, even though the date is correctly entered and it should not appear at the end. If anyone knows how to fix this, I’d appreciate knowing. I deleted it several times, and re-entered it, and while it initially shows up in the right place, it keeps jumping to the end.

Hello!My home country is the UK. If I buy the global pass, can I travel from Liverpool to Paris, then Paris back to Liverpool?I’m aware there will be a €36 charge for my seat reservation. But, just wanted to check if the above is ok?I seen somewhere that you’re allowed one outbound journey with the global pass. I will be changing at London though, so will Liverpool to Paris count as one outbound journey? Or will it be counted as two (Liverpool → London → Paris).Thanks for your help!
Hi Eurail CommunityI apologize if I ask too many questions. I am new to this trip planner and I just bought two Global Mobile Pass - one for my me and one for my wife and I have added both Pass into my Eurail App currently installed in my i-phone. So in my i-phone there are 2 Passes now. We are targeting to visit Europe in August this year.So, here is my situation. I have created in my Eurail App a total of 2 Trips - one named for me and one named for my wife. After activation of these Passes, I will now use the planner to look for journeys and then save these journeys to each of the two Passes and then connect these journeys to each of the two Passes. Only then will we get a Ticket (barcode ticket). Can I save multiple journeys to my Trip and duplicate those journeys to my Wife’s Trip? And then, will each journeys in my Trip and will each journeys in my Wife’s Trip be ticketed individually per journey like one ticket for departure and another ticket for the return (example for 1-day A
Hello, I’m in the middle of my trip and it seems like I can’t add journeys to my trip anymore. iOS version 15.4.1 app version 23.1.0.In the planner when I click on “save journey” I get the confirmation of saved to trip but when going to the trip there is nothing new there.I have tried:Force quitting the app Restarting the device Reinstalling the appNone of these are letting me get anything new on my trip. What else should I do?
Hi! My paper pass doesn’t seem to include cover number (capital letter I and 8 digits). Last time I traveled in 2019 I didn’t have this problem, and the cover number was printed where it should be. I managed to book reservations without it (for example Swedish SJ accepted my order number as a pass number) but I would like to have my cover number if I need it later. I’d also like to use RailPlanner app, now I can’t connect my pass to my trip. Can someone help and send me my cover number?
We purchased our mobile passes last night with plans to travel from Barcelona to Pisa this morning. When we put our passes into the app, we receive a “something went wrong” message. We have extended our hotel stay in Barcelona by one day to hopefully get it ironed out. But we urgently need help!
Hi, i bought at 15 April an interrail pass for 10 days within 2 months and i used accidentally the 2 inbound and outbound days in a trip i did and now i am not able to use the other 4 days left. The app tells me that there is no outbound/inbound journeys left and i can not use my other days and that i need to buy a separate ticket in order to make this journey. The question is; i have paid for the interrail pass and i don’t want to pay any more money since i have already paid for that. Is there any solution to my problem?Thanks in advance!
Hi, I would like to buy the 7days in one month pass and actually I have the 4days pass (not used). Is it possible to change it? I want to travel from Hamburg (Germany) to Narvik (Norway), start at 23.59, arriving 36h later. How many days you use for this travel (2 or 3 days)?
