Eurail & Interrail Passes

Hi,I’m just wondering if I got a refund on my 2 month continuous pass which I bought a few months back, and then bought the 50% off one so I would save over £200, if this is possible?Secondly, can you exchange a 15 day pass in two months for the discounted 50% continuous pass? Thanks!

I’m looking at getting a continuous pass but it say you have up to 11 months to active and use it. I’m looking to start travelling in April for 2 months but I’m not sure if it would still be valid in May/June as I would still be travelling but it would have then passed the 11 months. Do I have 11 months to use it then it stops working or do I have 2 months from the point of activation. Sorry if this is confusing would appreciate some help. 

Hello everyone! I faced the following problem:I am originally from Russia and my passport is also Russian, but now I am studying in Hungary, which means I have Hungarian temporary residence permit. This summer I wanted to travel across the Europe starting from Budapest. By mistake I typed that my country of residence is Hungary, but, as I understood later, it is wrong. Now my pass is activated. What can I do in such situation? Thank you in advance for your reply. 

Is it mandatory to plan our trip before? For example, I want to visit England but I don’t want to do a “road trip”, but to be based in London and have some day-trips in other cities. But the problem is that some of the cities are not addable (I can’t add them) to the trip (eg: Bath, Bournemouth) so does it mean that I can’t travel there with the pass? 

Hi,are the passes personalized on purchase or can one add the name of the person later?I would like to buy two 1-month passes from the promo today, but the second person isn’t sure she can plan her vacation like I can.If she can’t make it, I might have to find someone else to use it (or I could use it some time later within 11 months).Therefore my question:are passes personalized during checkout?Thank you for your help.-A.

Does the two-month continuous pass have to be activated on the first of a month? Or can I start the two-month period on any day?

Is it possible the price was on Sunday 451 € for Senior for the first class and today it is higher (541 €)? Thank you for your reply. Linda

Muss mein erster Tag mein Ausreisetag sein? (Ich komme aus Österreich und starte z.B. aber nicht in Österreich) Muss ich zuerst ausreisen oder darf ich auch zuerst einreisen und dann erst ausreisen? I live in UK and have bought a 3month global pass. I realise I only have one outbound and 1 inbound journey to UK. If I go abroad for 5weeks and return home, can I return abroad and carry on using my pass for the remainder of the 3months - as long as I pay my own fare to and from the border? Someone told me once I make my registered inbound trip, I cannot use the pass again.

We are from the United States and are flying into Alicante, Spain in July.  We are spending 1 week in Alicante (plan to visit Madrid and possibly Barcelona), then spending a week in Assisi, Italy (plan to visit Rome, Florence, and maybe Venice).  Seeing today’s special on a 1 month unlimited pass gets me thinking that the Eurail would be easier/ cheaper than rental cars and a flight to Italy.  Any advice is very appreciated!  This is our first time to Europe.

Hello everyone, I got a quick question for you.I bought 1 month continuous global pass for interrail which is valid for 11 month. Can I use the half (14 days) in July and the other half (14 days) in September? And during the time in-between, can I go back to my home country? Or once I activated the ticket and start the journey, I got 30 days to travel? Thanks in advance.

Hi there!I'm planning to buy a 1 month global mobile interrail pass, however, I'm also planning to buy a new smart phone after the purchase of the ticket. Can I use my pass on my new phone before I active it on my former phone? I didn't do it but it's my plan. Thank you in advance.

Can I make multiple journeys from and to one point of departure which is not my place of residence? E.g. After my outboud travel, I would decide to stay in one place and visit nearby cities.

Can i plan one trip to italy and after coming home plan another to elsewhere with the continuing pass? I can't go on travelling for 2 months. I have to decide today of i buy the pass. thanx for answer! 

Dear Railers, I want to get a 3-months interrail ticket. However my question is whether  can use it in ANY three months of this year. I am from the Netherlands and want to go to Scotland this summer and I want to purchase my Interrail-pass today. However, I don't have a passport yet (I will in a few weeks), I just have a national ID-card. Can I enter my ID-number for the Interrail-pass, and bring my ID with me to confirm that it is me? (And of course also bring my passport.)

Does it mean that I can basically travel in any countries on the way as long as I make it in Ankara on August 1st? Hi.I’m a U.K. citizen looking to buy one of your continuous interrail passes that are currently discounted to celebrate the 50th anniversary. I read somewhere that these passes are only available to EU residents. Is this true? Am I eligible as a British citizen or do I need to purchase a Eurail pass? Thanks, Liam

Hello, looking for advice for our honeymoon in March 2023. We are looking to travel from London to Paris, then Paris to Amsterdam, Amsterdam to Berlin and then Berlin back to London.We have hotels currently booked for Paris 22/03 - 26/03Amsterdam 26/03 - 28/03Berlin 28/03 - 01/04We are looking to use the train for the whole trip as not a huge fan of flying and trying to understand if the passes would be worth it in terms of cost, which pass would you choose and how the seat reservations system works. Any advice would be appreciated. 

I'm planning to travel through Europe by train by using 50% discount that interrail provides. Can I get that discount although I'm not European and my country is not in Europe?

HelloI am hoping for a speedy reply to the following problem as I will be travelling in a few hours. I got my Mobile Pass activated on my smartphone fine a few days ago. I added a trip to the first travel day just fine.It is my second travel day tomorrow (actually today, as I now spent hours over midnight to resolve this, unsuccessfully) and I am unable to add a trip to the travel day. Therefore, my pass remains unusable for my journey in just a few hours. In another post I read to:» go to the "My Trip" section. There you click the + button and then select "Connect a Pass to this trip". «But when I do this, I only get an option to add a Paper Pass but not the Mobile Pass I got registered and visible under MyPass.This happens regardless whether I am offline or online or restart the app or the smartphone. I am pretty much at my wits end and wonder what the conductor will charge me when I can't present a valid ticket.

Email : orders@eurail.com does not work.  when clicked on HELP, assistant is limited in helping get the answers. The responses are in loop.  same with facebook messenger, kept asking the same questions but no immeidate answer. Placed the pass in the cart but i cannot check them out.  this cause me to lose my confidence in buying the EURAIL. I hope it is not a mistake to buy the EURAIL pass. Thanks.
