What are the refund charges for a Eurail Promo Global Pass Senior, 22 days Continous, 1st class (€670 -25%    = €503) if cancelled after the promption date of October 22 2024. Will the charge be 25€ if I purchased this pass at a promotional price of €503 today, October 19, 2024?

I don’t have a lot of time and I would like to visiti in three weeks just Spain and Portugal, and I noticed that the trains to go there are more expensive than a plane (around 20/30 euro). Do you think it would make sense to travel with the plane to spare money and time, and then activate the pass once I’ll be there? thank you

I have my rail pass and I purchased seat reservations and the supplement is included.  To use the pass I am trying to add my journey to the pass on the app.  The journey says seat reservation and supplement required and does not add. The toggle in my trip is grayed out. Can I just select use travel day and board with my seat assignment ticket that I printed?

Hi, we have an unlimited 1 month pass. When we book seats we get a QR code. When do plan a trip and try to generate a code nothing happens. Some inspectors are fine saying the pass is the ticket. Others want to scan a code. Do we need to have a code for every journey? If we do why isn’t one being generated?  Thanks

The planner will not find AVE trains from Madrid to Segovia, even though they run every hour. Why not?

Hello,4 of us will be doing a 3 week trip in Europe next May and using the trains to get around.  On a direct route I see some trains need seat reservations and some do not, while the travel time is the same.  Is there an advantage to the trains that have seat reservations vs the ones that do not?  One example I looked at the seat reservations were about $65 each. I attached a picture as an example.  We will be getting a 1st class global ticket.  Thanks!!!

I try to make a reservation for the Railjet service (15.54) from Buchs to Innsbruck on the 31th of october. I tried it a for the last few days, I tried to do this via different websites, but the oebbtickets.at is clear: “currently not reservable”.It seems to be there is construction work upcoming or some timetable information is missing. I can't find info for construction work and the train is not missing in the rail planners.Is there a way to find out if this train is running on this day? Otherwise I have to chacnge some plans. Thank you for your help!

Hello, I recently came back from a fantastic interrail journey with two friends trough Sweeden and Danemark that went almost perfectly. However, on the first day of travel, we were unlucky enough to have our ICE train to Hamburg delayed and then cancelled wich prevented us from taking our booked night train from there to Stockholm.We are now compiling the formular to get a refund but we don’t really know what we are entitled to ask as refund… I know that there are european laws that regulate what and how companies should refund to travellers in the event of a problem that bar them from continuing their journey on the same day (hotel refund, tickets for the next day and food if I’m not mistaken), but I didn’t find a specific explanation for refunds if travelling with interrail. Furthermore, Deutsche Bahn told us at the station that they would “maybe” look for a refund of the hotel, but wouldn’t for the night train we’ve lost, the seat reservations we’ve had to pay the n

The cost per day for each will be AUD 163 per day per person and AUD 106 per day per person, respectively, but obviously, a 30-day pass is AUD 650 expensive.We are travelling in mid-September: 2 Adults and 2 children (14 and 11). I am planning a full circular tour of Spain in September and am finding it very difficult to get any mention of local trains - i.e. those without the need for a reservation. Basically I am talking about travel between the main cities along the Mediterranean as a start.Some of these journeys require two or even sometimes three trains each with a reservation! Is there a way around this, or was I too optimistic (or naive 😯)?  Is the answer perhaps to travel between smaller towns?Edit: Perhaps I should ask how much reservations cost in Spain and how much in advance they need to be bought (from a station en route).
