Hello Do I need to use traveling day if I already booked seat reservations for a train and have qr code with ticket ?I do not have trains without “seat reservation required” for this day

Hello. It's my fist time in Europe and I'm kind of lost. My plan is going from Florence to Lucerne. What is the best route to do? I also interested in day trips in Switzerland, like Interlaken and Lauterbrunnen. And then I'm going to Paris. Do you guys think a 5 day pass is appropriate for me? 

I just purchase a pass but i make a mistake writting my last name, i change one letter for other (kind of dyslexia), how can i correct that? 

Hello,I am currently using a Eurail Pass and I still have 2 travel days left out of 7. I had originally planned to use the remaining 2 days today (September 10) and on September 12. However, due to several reasons, I would like to change this plan and use the pass on September 11 and 12 instead.I tried to cancel today’s ticket and rebook it for tomorrow, but I received a message saying that no more travel days can be added. Since I have not yet used today’s ticket, I would like to know if it is possible to change the travel day from September 10 to September 11.Could you please let me know how I can adjust this?Thank you very much for your assistance.

Hi all, I’m using the Bahn.com train planner as I find it always the most accurate.For trains in Italy with an “FR” code eg. FR9811, which I assume is Frecciarossa, Bahn.com shows them all with the message “No seats are available for reservation” in the journey information.As they *all* show this message, I assume that it doesn’t mean that there are no seats (ie. all the trains are 100% full). Does it just mean that the Bahn.com site can’t reserve seats? If so, how can I get a seat reservation with an Interrail pass?Thanks very much for any info.

Hello, I am rather confused about the country of residence/passport info. I live in the UK and am a UK citizen and also an Irish citizen. I have an Irish passport and don’t currently have an up-to-date British passport. However, it looks like there might be a problem with buying a pass and selecting ‘UK’ as my country of residence but then having an Irish passport as my ID. I’m not sure what I’m meant to do - I could get a new UK passport but it’s annoying to have to buy one solely for the purposes of this …

Hi all,Looking for ideas and destinations best to travel by train to cover xmas and new year. 

If I do not catch a connecting train (because of delay of the train before) and that train was the last train of the day, what exactly is the policy there? I get that talking to train staff is generally the best option but as I’ve also encountered sitations in which the delayed train was not staffed and there was also no station staff present anymore, who is responsible for refunding expenses like a hotel that became necessary (not talking about this specific incident but rather about handling situations like this in general)? Interrail or the operator of the delayed train? And how can the journey be continued next day, as the previos travel day already became invalid?

Bonjour, je vois tout le monde qui parle de visiter de villes mais j’aimerai plutôt partir découvrir des montagnes, il n’y aurait pas des gens partant pour partir ou qui aurait des conseils sur des itinéraires à faire en 1 ou 2 semaines? I can’t figure out how to change a first class reservation in Sweden— Same itinerary just one day earlier. SJ has said since I booked through Eurail, I need to do the change through your Eurail. But even though I see Eurail’s policy is that a first class reservation can be changed in Sweden, when I go to the Eurail site it says no you can’t change your reservation. I believe the site does not recognize that my tickets are first class. Can anyone help me?

My son and I are planning a trip from the UK through France & Spain in early August next year (2026)I am looking to take advantage of the current sale on the Global Pass, so I just want to check that if I purchase this now it will still be valid as won’t be activating it until 4th August 2026? I have asked the ‘bot’…….it wasn’t much help!!! Difficult using the DB website to change my seats provided by my Eurail Global pass and travel dates are October 21, 2025 and would like to rebook seats and make the payment. 

Hello all, I am currently on a three-months Interrail pass, which I am using for several return trips outside of my home country (Italy). I am not staying on the road for the whole three months, so I will need more than the one inbound and one outbound trip that are included with the pass.Basically for every trip I buy regular tickets from home to the border and back, and once I am outside of Italy I use the Interrail pass. It is a very flexible way of travelling that suits me.But there’s one thing that is really unclear. Actually I am quite a veteran of Interrail passes, and in all these years of asking hundreds of train conductors I was never able to get a definitive answer.I need to know if, for trips out of Italy (my country of residence) into Austria, I need to buy a ticket to Brenner (and from there onwards use the interrail pass) or to Innsbruck (or it could be the first town in Austria, but for these trips I’m using EC trains that call at Brenner and Innsbruck).I guess that tec

Hi everyone, I’m planning to travel around Europe soon with a Eurail Pass and I’m a little confused about seat reservations. Do I need to book them in advance for all trains, or just high-speed and overnight ones? Also, what’s the easiest way to make reservations if I’m traveling across multiple countries? Hi, so rn i’m on a train to mulhouse ville (using tgv inoui) and after that i have connecting train to st louis but turns out my train to mulhouse ville has delayed for around 1.40 hours and i missed the last train from mulhouse to st. louis. is there any compensation that the train company can give to me? cause i already pay for my hotel in st. louis

Hi, the first Train of my interrail trip got canceled due to flooding, so all my trip and booked seats are now obsolete.How can the trip can be changed so that I can leave as soon as possible without paying more ?Do I need to book everything again or can the whole trip can just be "moved" to the next similar one without me having to book all over again ?

Hello. We are coming back from Naples to Strasbourg and meant to be going from Strasbourg to Paris on the 10th September but worried as there is a planned strike there won’t be any trains. We contacted Interail and they didn’t even know about this strike so wondered if anyone else knew about it?

Hello Rail Community I plan to take the 09:23 train from Stuttgart to Brussels Midi with  transfer at Frankfurt on 29 October.  I plan to skip anything Paris altogether…. I already booked the Eurostar from Brussels to London 15:51 to 17:00 Is the 6 minute transfer at Frankfurt very short?  Should I rather plan another route or different times? Thank you!

I have confirmed 1st Class seats on Eurostar London - Paris Nord scheduled to depart London St P on 23 September at 13:31 (Train No 9028).  However, my Global Interrail Pass shows this journey in “My Trip” scheduled as 12:56.  When this is opened for journey detail, the departure time is shown as 13:31.I guess the difference is ‘allowing extra time for boarding’ and that there is only one train involved here.  But I would like to be reassured that my journey will proceed as I planned.
