Is it a problem during the train check if you have a 1st class train ticket but booked the seat reservation for the 2nd class because there was no free seat in 1st class?

I’ll be heading from Rome to Klagenfurt via Venice. Interrail is telling me that I need to pay €10 supplement fee (2nd class) for the second leg from Venice to Klagenfurt. Upon further reading about supplement fee, it seems that I can pay for seat reservation (€5,5) and it includes the €10 supplement fee. From Interrail websiteMy question is, does this seat reservation (which is optional) include the supplement, or will I still have to pay the €10 supplement fee? Anyone encounter this before?

Is is possible to get from Brussels to Utrecht without using the Thalys? We’re travelling next Wednesday (12th July) and would prefer to avoid the expensive reservation fee. Any ideas on how to do this journey? Thanks

Hi, Is interrail planning to offer support by telephone in the near future? Hi,im traveling with my wife. I created our trip in the eurail app and added her as a traveler. However, I’m trying to share it with her, so she can have it in her phone. im trying to use the “share as a link” option I see inside the trip, but when use the link and press “save this trip” it just redirect us to the same page and nothing gets added to her app. what am I doing wrong? What can I do so we both can see the whole trip in our phones? 

I am travelling to Paris on the 21st July for 4 nights and I was just wondering if it is deemed safe to go? Is anyone there now, if so what is it like?

I can’t figure our how to book the Bernina Express using the App or the website. We are going from Zurich to Milan and we want to use the Bernina Express as part of that travel. When I put this in using the App I get all the various trains that go from Zurich to Milan. I then tried looking based on each segment i.e.,, Zurich to Chur; Chur to Tirano; and Tirano to Milan. However when I look at Chur to Tirano (the Bernina Express route) I get various train options and I don’t know which one is the Bernina Express. Any help would be appreciated.

Me & my friends will be travelling to Europe for the first time this September. .  Our plan by train are follows  1) London to Paris  2) Paris to Basel then Lucerne  3) Basel to Cologne Germany  4) Cologne Germany to Amsterdam  5) Amsterdam to Brussels   6) Brussels back to London I believe as a non Europeans we would need to purchase the Eurail Global Pass right?Does the Eurail Global Pass covers all the cities mentioned above?Kindly adviceThanks

Hello!I’ll be travelling w/ my husband and 3 kids mid july and we plan to take the Bosphorus Express from Bucharest to Istanbul. The tickets seems to be only available at the Bucuresti Nord Rail Station. We will be arriving there only the same day of our departure. As we are 5, I’m a bit stress about getting the 5 couchettes booking only some hours before departure. If someone has feedback to tell me if it’s a busy train or not (especially in July), it would be nice. Thank you ! Anaïs

It is possible to enter in a train without reservation sits and only with your Railpass?

I have to reserve seats on a train starting from Munchen hbf to Innsbruck, have a 1-2 hours stay at Innsbruck (for slight sight seeing), and then finally move to Milano Centrale, on 7th July (morning). So just wanted to confirm,- if I only needed to select the 'seat reservation (no ticket)' option for buying the mandatory seat reservation from Innsbruck to Verona?- is there a better option for covering my route?

Hello, i had to cancell my pass because i coulnd't find train reservations. I only manegd to book one reservation, that i had to pay for in addition to the pass. This reservation cannot be refund. My question is, can i use the train ticket i pad for, after i canceled my pass? Thanks

I bought the four days pass, but only used three days. But the app said I has used 4/4 days. So I can not make reservations.

I’m very worry about my reservation from Wien to Amsterdam with obb nightjet: We’re 2 adults + 2 children and we bokeed a couchette.On monday I received a mail from obb nightjet informing that there’s a problem and we don’t have the couchette, the company propose to travel on seats o cancel the reservation.I’ve called two times to the company and the persons who attended my by phone are sure that my reservation don’t have any problem, all is ok. I’ve asked them some mail saying that (all is correct and you have your couchette) but they say is not possible (I don’t understand why). So, someone in the same situation now or in the past? Someone knows what can I do? I already have the pdf ticket, so my intention is go to the train station. Many thanks!

Hi all, I am planning to Intrerrail for a month in Europe and I have few questions that has kept me confused therefore coming to you for help. I am a Non-national resident of UK, have been granted a refugee status in the UK and have travel document. I am planning to go to Austria, Switzerland and Italy. Only Austria that I need visa for. My questions are: Should I get a Interail or Eurail pass as a resident of UK?  Does UK still count as Europe for Interail? If not, will Global pass give me access to travel from London to Europe and then back?  If you have a travel document and have visited to these countries, please feel free to share your experience with the interail etc. Looking forward to hear and thanks so much in advance! A 

I am trying to reserve a seat in first class ICE 13 on July 21, Brussels to Frankfurt (08:25 to 12:32) since last week of June. I am checking everyday but app shows there is no reservations possible. Looks like reservation in first class is full. I am using interrail Germany pass. Next option , I have is an ICE train with departure late in in the afternoon which is not an option.I have reservation from Brussels to Aachen. I have NO reservation from Aachen to Frankfurt. Is it really normal that train is full 4 weeks in advance? First class tickets are available to book on ICE 13 even though system doesn’t allow reservationI have following option, which is better?Add Brussels to Frankfurt in the journey and travel without reservation after Aachen. Can they ask passengers to leave the train if train is overcrowded. If yes, will railplanner app allow to change or add new journey from Aachen? Hi everyone, we would to go to Paris this summer by train and go around the north of France. We saw that from Lille to Strasburg we need two trains to arrive at the destination. Are we wondering with a global pass with 5 days within one month when we’ll move from Lille to Strasburg and we need to change trains we don’t have a problem if a change trains on the same day, right?With the global pass,  can we move to a different town not only in one, is right?We need to consider the day and not change trains.For you, is simple to check a reservation on the train to France in August? Thanks
