Hi, We are from India. We will be travelling to Amsterdam (2 adults and 1 kid (7 years old)). We will be taking the train from Amsterdam to Paris / Paris to Lourdes / Lourdes to Munich. We need your advise on which pass to buy and train options? Would also appreciate if you could guide us on the seat reservations and how many days in advance do you need to reserve the seats. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks - Charmaine Ross 

I have inadvertently set up an account (with no transactions so far) that has a wrong email address. It won’t let me edit the address. I assume I need to delete the account and start over. How do I do that?

I have read on this forum that to delete a journey you can long tap the journey you want and a pop-up should come up with the option to delete. I have tried this several times, holding it down for varying lengths of time, but all it does is open the details of the journey. Any thoughts? 

Hallo, ich verstehe das Inbound und Outbound immernoch nicht. Ich habe noch 2 Tage guthaben und kann noch 1 outbound und ein inbound machen. Kann ich beim inbound im Heimatland fahren soviel ich will, wenn ich dazu einen Tag hernehme? Also mein Nachtzug kommt ja nicht in meiner Heimatstadt an sodass ich noch einen weiteren Zug nehmen muss um nach Hause zu kommen.Geht das? Bitte nur Ja oder Nein antworten.

Hello Friends, I’m travelling solo this November and Paris will be my base. I’ll visit Paris for a few days and then return to the same city at the end to catch my flight back home. Now, I’m planning to travel to Interlaken to visit Jungfraujoch and the nearby villages and then proceed to Rome for another few days. I have a total of 3 weeks and I believe visiting the aforementioned three places would be easy [earlier I thought I could go to some other city too, like Munich/Barcelona for example].  I understand the below is possible but does this plan sound good, or could you please suggest a better idea as this is my first time visiting Europe?Take train from Paris to Basel [using 4 days global flxe Eurail pass] and then take local train to Interlaken. I've bought an interrail pass by mistake. 7 days travel in 1 month. I should have got a Eurail pass. I'm a UK citizen. I've made reservations on a number of trains including Eurostar and Glacier Express in Switzerland.  Pass not activated yet but 1st journey is this Saturday!

Does a Eurail Global Pass entitle me to use the Hungarian MAV-START train system?

Hi Everyone,New here and embarking on a solo trip this October. Learned about the Gotthard tunnel delays and was wondering about the impact to my Milan-Zurich train on Oct 31st. From Zurich I have a sleeper to Hamburg with a 90-min connection time. 3 Q’s:I booked my ticket in May through Trenitalia (it was the lowest fare back then) so a deeply discounted fare. Will Trenitalia change my ticket free of charge, if I ask, as the tunnel blockage will likely mean my connection time will be reduced by 60 min now due to the re-routing?  On the Trenitalia website, when I check my ticket, it still shows the original arrival time. Does this mean that the train will still go and arrive as planned? Should I do nothing, and change the ticket if needed, on the day of?thank you very much. :)

I have a First Class Interrail Pass though, when I booked Eurostar seat reservations via SNCB, only Standard and Business class reservations were options on the screen. I booked Standard ones (as Passholder seats were disappearing quickly) though want to change to Standard Premier seats that are covered by my First Class pass, even paying a small upgrade charge. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to do this via Eurostar/Interrail/Eurail/SNCB. Currently there are no spare Standard Premier seats left on my outbound journey, though there are on my inbound one. This forms one of the reasons I bought I First Class pass. Any suggestions please? Thanks.

Hi everyone, I hope to travel with my husband and two young kids from Basel to Milano and I'm trying to figure out how to interpret all the info regarding the Gotthard tunnel. Does the train from Basel to Milano (transfer at Bellinzona) also go through this tunnel? The schedule, shown below, shows the delay after Bellinzona, but isn't the tunnel before this city?   Also, SBB advises (https://news.sbb.ch/artikel/124161/entgleisung-im-gotthard-basistunnel-alles-was-sie-fuer-ihre-reise-wissen-muessen) to travel via Zuerich (quote below), but isn't that the same train that ends up going through the tunnel as the one from Basel to Bellinzona? I hope someone can shed some light on this for me. We're actually travelling the night before from the Nederlands to Basel and hope to travel from Basel to Rome the next day (hence my questions on the Basel - Milano stretch).

Hi,I have a confussion when planning my trip from Brussel Midi to Paris Nord.in rail planner apps it will show Thalys and i need to reservea a seat. However, when i turn on the ‘No seat reservation’ filter, the apps will propose IC train without seat reservation.i tried to find the IC train schedule in Google Map and other EU train apps and website but could not find any of it. Only can see Thalys schedule  i am worried if i proceed to save the journey in my trip via IC, the schedule might be false and no more seat available for Thalys can be booked on that day.  Please help me. TIA  

Hello. We will commence our journey in a few days and are trying to print out our necessary documents, including seat reservations.  This is the first time I’ve used the Eurail FlexiPass, so please bear with me if I ask some rather obvious questions. After several rounds of email, I was able to determine that in order to board a train on a travel day, we need to generate a QR code for that day, and to present our seat reservations (if seat reservations are required).  What customer support did not answer was how early we should generate the QR code?  We want to do a bit of a dry run before commencing our journey.  We already have an active travel day, when we are travelling on the Eurostar.  We already have both e-tickets and seat reservations for this leg of the trip, but we do not have e-tickets for the leg after the Eurostar.  If the Eurostar travel day is over a week away, is it too early to try a dry run fo generate the QR code for the leg without an e-ticket?  How do other travel

Hey Guys,I going Back to Germany and would Take the train from Florence to Dortmund. The train Starts at 13:20 and i have 4 Changes. The departure of my Last Train would be around 00:01 from munich to Dortmund. My Question is, i really need a new travelday because of that 2 minutes ?Thanks a Lot for your Help and greetings !

My first choice for a journey from Verona to Milan no longer appears on the schedule so I have added several other choices to my trip. I want to wait until I arrive at the station to decide which train to take. Can I add the journey from my trip to my pass even if no internet is available at the station?

Hi,First days of trip and I am spending hours struggling with booking the next leg of our journey. I am learning a lot about Interrail in the process but this is too time consuming. I now realise I should have done all this planning before our first day of travel. I didn't expect things to be this complicated!We need to go from Montpellier to Málaga. I thought we could do this in 1 day of travel but it seems very difficult to reserve the trains in Spain online!Any tips? Thanks in advance. 

We haven't activitated our mobile passes yet and both our details (pass reference etc) are on theRail Planner app, on my phone. We were thinking it may be best to have each person’s pass on their own phone when we activate. Does anyone know if this is possible and if so, how to do it? (Appreciate this can’t be done once the pass is activated, and also that it may be simple to do but don’t want to mess things up.) Advice much appreciated!

What if I have my pass on a smart phone and it stops working on the morning of travel:  crashes, no battery, ….  whatever pros and cons with paper and mobile passes?

First time Interrailer here - so please excuse what may seem like a really dumb question.We are staying in Zuerich for a few days and want to be able to use a spare Interrail day on SBB’s suburban routes in the area. So:a) Can the pass be used on Zuerich’s SBB trams?b) If not, can I use it on SBB trains in the suburbs?If yes, in either case, do I have to find the actual train/tram journey in the timetable and add it manually, every time we use the train? (This seems like a bit of a pain given that trains run every 5 - 10 minutes in places.) Alternatively is it possible to use the SBB app with its really easy swipe on swipe off feature when you get on and off trains. Maybe I’m missing something…?

Question for you all. I am traveling from Copenhagen to Stockholm. Unfortunately the SJ is sold out so I have to change in Malmö. The change only gives me 18 minutes to get from one train to another. Is that enough time in the Malmö train station taking into account any border crossing logistics such as customs, ID checking, etc…

Places reserved for Pass holders are probably sold out. You will find other options at the bottom of our schedule.”I would like to know if it’s possible to get on this train with my interail pass and no reservation, or will I be turned away if I get on this train knowing it may be full? Thank you for your help !  

Hello and thanks to this community for helping customers !I made some seat reservation for train tickets from Stuttgart for Paris. This reservation is for 15/10/2023I received the tickets from interrail mail.Later I received a mail from SNCF : the departure from Stuttgart was cancelled, due to modernization works on rails. The train now departs from Karlsruhe.I’m sort of okay with this updated option anyway. However, I need to check the updated information for my ticket.The SNCF mail invited me to perform a cancellation or modification of this travel trough their website. However, I am not interested in cancelling the ticket, I simply need to get the updated ticket.Furthermore, the reference for this travel is not recognized on any of their website (neither sncf-connect or dossier.sncf-voyageurs)I am a bit at a loss here :/Please rememeber, I just need to get and check the updated information (date, hour and precise departure station) for this new ticket.
