How do a make a seat reservation on the chur to zurich train? Thanks

I will go to Copenhagen from Hamburg at 25th July, but there is no direct train. I have heard that there are five direct train in summer season, but only 23rd July to 30th July don't have any direct train, it seems that we need to change trains for twice and it will takes 6.5h… What's happen?

Greetings,I am looking for advice for travel arrangements by rail from Budapest to Croatia (destination to be determined, based on ease of travel). We have 4 days to spend and our next stop will be Venice. A friend recommended Pula.It is looking like trains to Pula or Rijeka are upwards of 10 hours in duration and are just generally, more difficult to get to. Is there a sleeper car? Is there an easier way to get to Croatia from Budapest? Is there somewhere else we should consider visiting instead?

Hi,I would like to reserve a sleeper cabin for two on the NightJet on Sunday Oct 15 between Hamburg and Innsbruck. But it is only possible to make seat reservations. Does anybody kniw why?Ingrid/Sweden

Hey all,As I understand, we have 2 inbound/outbound trips from our home country. However, in the Rail Planner app, I see that I have 3 days available. (I used 1 outbound journey and it shows 1/3)Has it been increased to 3, or is it a bug with the app?Thanks in advance!  

Do i need a pass for my 14 year old daughter as we mainly travel tgrough Germany? She would normaly travel for free when accompanied by an adult, but does that also aply, when i have an interrail card?No use bying her a card for som €200,- while she could travel for free.  

I want to reserve my seats for my train from Amsterdam-bruxells midi. However, when I want to reserve it’s says they are no prices available. Where can I reserve my seats? Or can just board the train without seat?  thanks!

Bonjour, J’aurai quelques questions pour un futur voyage J’ai reçu le pass interrail qui permet d’aller en Allemagne pendant 7 jours consécutifs. Souhaitant partir de Grenoble, on me propose des trajets passant par la Suisse, et qui ne sont pas disponibles avec le pass (logique, mais je voudrai juste vérifier que c’est bien normal) Je décide donc de passer par Paris, mais pour y aller dans des délais raisonnables, je dois prendre un TGV, ce qui suppose des frais de réservation de 12€. Ces frais de réservation sont-ils obligatoires ? J’ai entendu à la radio qu’aller en gare permettait de ne pas avoir à payer ces frais. Ensuite, puis-je prendre tous mes billets dans la même gare (pour aller et retour) ? Mais aussi prendre les billets dans une gare française pour les trajets internes en Allemagne ?Comment ça se passe pour faire les réservations finales ? Sur interrail, dans reservation des places assises, j’ajoute au panier et je valide?  Mais ça ne semble pas fonctionner pour les trajet

Hi,I recently travelled from Copenhagen to Hamburg and back with Interrail global pass and for both of the journeys a substitute train was used so the seat reservations couldn't be used. The conductor on the train told us to forget the seat reservations, just find a seat and get a refund afterwards. The seat reservations were bought from DSB (Cph-Hamburg) and DB (Hamburg-Cph). I don't seem to be able to find instructions on how to claim back the seat reservation costs from either of the companys. Can anyone guide me on where and how to do that please? We travelled as a family of 4, can I do that for all of us on the same form since the reservations were bought together? Appreciate any help!

I have already booked my trips but I’ve made a bit of a mess and forgot to switch between the different trip.I have now confirmed reservations for the parts that needed it, but not the overall trip.Is there a way to re-create a trip and link it to the reservation I already have ?I mean… I realise that I can simply use the reservation on the day, but it would be good to have the whole trip saved in the app.

Hi all,I am planning on travelling in France with my “Interrail France Germany Pass” → One Country Pass.Is it possible to travel as a Outbound Journey from Paris to Munich back in my home country with ÖBB Nightjet using only a Reservation?Or is this not possible and I would buy a separate ticket once I cross the border in Strasbourg? Thanks for your help!

Bonjour, Je voulais poser quelques questions vis-à-vis du pass, et je n’arrive pas à trouver de réponses spécifiques à mes questions. J’ai reçu le pass pour aller en allemagne pendant 7j offert par le gouvernement. Sachant que je veux aller en allemagne du 25 au 31 juillet (7j), je voudrais savoir si je pouvais par exemple emprunter un train à Europapark le 31 juillet soir et revenir dans ma ville d’origine française le lendemain matin. Ce qui fait que je prend le train le 31 juillet mais que je dépasse ce jour-là durant mon trajet. Comment cela est-il compris dans le trajet ? Si c’est bon faut-il toujours rester dans le même train, ou puis-je changer lors d’une correspondance durant la nuit du 31 juillet au 1er aout ?Je vous remercie pour vos réponses. Bonne journée, Alexis

Hi, I am planning a trip to France and would like to see the contingent of free reservations without having a pass.I made bad experiences last year that I booked a pass but then for many trains there where no reservations available. 

Hello, we are on our way from Duisburg to Berlin on a ICE train (with seat reservations). We have a interrail global pass 1st class. Just now the ticketinspector told us this ticket is not valid on ICE products but only IC and lower class products.  we traveled before by ICE train and never had any problem. Is it true interrail is not valid?kind regards, Robin Cremers

Bonjour,Je souhaite partir en Allemagne le 24 juillet avec une amie. Nous disposons toutes les 2 d’un pass pour partir dans le cadre de l’offre aux jeunes par le gouvernement français et allemand (Interrail France Germany Pass). Nous souhaitons partir le 24 juillet depuis Rouen vers Duessendorf pour un premier arrêt lors de notre voyage. Or, tous les trains que nous pouvons prendre pour y aller sont incompatibles avec le pass, et il en est de même pour les trains à l’intérieur de l’Allemagne mais aussi si nous modifions les dates du voyage. Pourtant, les trains choisis sont bien des trains qui fonctionnent avec le pass (THALYS en l’occurrence pour le 1er train pour ce premier exemple). Je ne comprends donc pas l’intérêt de ce pass puisqu’il est sensé inclure 95% des trains, or il est impossible d’organiser un voyage car aucune réservation n’est possible, comment cela se fait ?Merci et bonne journée

Hii,I’m an Italian traveller and I have a question on how to travel in your own country: on the website i found that “you can use one travel day to leave your country of residence (outbound journey) and one travel day to return (inbound journey)”. But that’s my question: We strart our journey from Milan and we want to reach Munich, but we have to change train in Verona. Can we do this thing or we can only book one train? 

I cannot by reservations on the interrail site due to my 'invalid number'' on the paper pass-this was the same problem last year.On øbb I cannot make a reservation for the high speed trains in Italy, but it's possible to buy regular tickets. Does anybody know where to buy just reservations?Many regards, Anette

Hello, I’m trying to travel from Interlaken to Florence on Aug 26th, but seeing construction on many of the routes. If I avoid them, then I’m only left with one route with three train changes. Below are the routes I’v been looking at:Interlaken → Spiez → Milano → Florence (construction) Interlaken → Zurich → Milano → Florence (construction) Interlaken → Luzern → Lugano → Milano → FlorenceQuestions I have:Would it be best to avoid routes with construction? Do I have to go through immigration at any of the stations? Im worried about time and being able to catch the next train. Are there any other routes with less train changes? Any discounts that I could use for this trip? (I’v been using sbb.ch and trenitalia)  Thank you so much for the help 🙏

Hi, I have paid for tickets from Vienna to Munich on 28 August via RJX booked through OBB. However, I am unable to buy the seats and the obb website says “Tickets not available” .I have checked for other timings for the direct route via RJX and all of them have the same message. My train departure at 8am is busy and there is a message warning that there will be no seats if I do not reserve them. I have also tried buying the seats through DB and it has the same message that ‘reservation not possible’ .Are the trains really filled to the brim already and I will have to cancel the tickets and look for alternatives with connections that seem to have seats ? Or should is there some track works resulting in delays in making seats reservations possible? Appreciate your help and advice pls! Me and my 2 families have  a mobile eurail pass each. However, every leg we wanna book on the seat booking system doesn't work. And I’ve tried to book for each traveller separately or all of 3 travellers.But none of them is available for seat reservation. I’ve tried for two days, thank you so much if anyone can help.

Hello, on the 25th of July I want to take the train EN40465 from Kranj to Zagreb. This is in the DiscoverEU app. Ever since I tried to book seats (apparently necessary) it says it’s unavailable, made me wonder if there is something wrong with that journey. When I look in the DB app it says me that it’s a night train EN40237/EN415 from Stuttgart to Zagreb (via Kranj and Ljubljana). But still on no other app I can book seats or a ticket. Is there a way to go from Kranj to Zagreb that morning? I have a bus to catch from Zagreb.. Thanks for your help.

I have seat reservations on a train for July 3. I booked through Eurail and the reservations show up there. I have my pass also activated in the app as I have already traveled on it. I understand reservations are separate from the pass and don’t show in the app.  My issue is, we have a direct train from Prague to Vienna on July 3 at 0845 however that route does not show in the timetable at all. I attempted to add it as a journey in my app but it is no longer available and doesn’t show on the website as being an available route. I did search other sites and still see it but not on Eurail. It’s a Railjet line, not sure if they just aren’t in the timetable anymore. Should I be worried?
