Hello everyone,my question is, if I booked a train that doesn’t have “seat reservation required” written on the eurrail app, is it also recommended to book a seat or I will risk standing in the train? its a train from amsterdam to salzburg with 2 changes in Germany on tuesdayplease advise if you are sureThanks in advance 

I have tried multiple times on several different devices to purchase two seat reservations from Paris to Nice and vice versa and every time i get to the point to proceed to payment it says one of the legs of this trip is no longer available even when attempting to purchase one portion! Ive had others try to purchase the same times that show as AVAILABLE on their device and keep getting the same error. So there is no way of knowing if the seat is available or not! How do I proceed?

Hi, I have a question related to ticket reservations. We want to go from Barcelona to Paris by TGV, and then from Paris to Mannheim in ICE, all in august. When I try to make the reservations the interrail app says "You can book this trip 90 days in advance". And it does'nt show any way to make the reservation. So I understand that I can not book the tickets until first of may, right? I have received an email from Interrail web insisted me on make the reservation that now I'm worried about running out of reserves. But I guess I have to wait until may, is that correct?

Hi I try to do db reservations  from paris est to strasbourg on22/7. But db Don't accept  . Also I Don't understand  the highlight below, (i bought  global pass), someone pls advice. Tq 

I’m really confused about how to move forward.  I’m trying to get 4 people (myself and 3 others) all with Eurail passes on ICE 27 on 23rd July but it keeps giving me this error and I cannot book seats.  Is there a way to book Direct with DB.  I’ve tried it but I cannot get to a screen that allows me to enter the Eurail passes so I don’t have to pay for the whole journey.  The Eurail passes are for first class travel for four times in a month.  So far I have only had success at booking one of my trips.  Any help appreciated.

I am trying to book seat reservations for myself and a group of friends (6 including me) for a journey going from Budapest to Venice (you end up having to go to Wein then back to Venice). This is a part of a larger trip we are taking around Europe.When I book it says this leg of the journey is unavailable please try a different, so I look up this error and find out it may be because there are 6 people in our “trip” I’ve set up.I was wondering if it would be possible to link my pass to two “trips”: one for “trip” of 6 people which is to be used for the majority of journeys taken between countries and another for the one journey where we need to potentially split into two groups in order to be able to book seat reservations. We each have our own passes.

Me and my 3 friends are going interrailing for the month of a July. I went online there to reserve our train tickets but mostly all of the trains say “prices unavailable” as it is possible that all pass holder seats are sold out. If a train requires a seat reservation will we still be able to board without paying for the reservation, will our interrailing ticket cover us? We are aware we would possibly be left with no seat but this does not bother us as we just want to ensure we get onto the train. It says on the websight to try booking a train reservation ticket at the train station but being honest we don’t want to rely on that as we are 4 young girls and we do not want to wait until the day to find out if we will be able to board the train or not as it could be sold out on the day as we are going at peak time and we do not want to be stuck in a foreign country we don’t know our surroundings in. Hello Everyone,  I am travelling to Europe (France, Switzerland & Italy) for 15 days starting from July 7 - July 22 2023. For my trip I am buying a flexi 10 day eurorail pass. During my trip my 1st day of euro rail pass would be on 11th July when I will be travelling from Paris to Lucerne. But I will be visiting Disneyland on 10th July and want to avail the euro rail pass discount on the ticket. My question is do i need to consume my one day to get this discount at disneyland or just having the pass would be enough to get the discount? Please note my first day of euro rail pass (mobile Pass) will be on 11 July so technically that will be the day I will activate it but I will be buying it in few days. TIA Sidharth 

HelloI bought a four day pass and I would like some help because I have some doubt if I activated correctly my pass or not.I have made seat reservations without difficulty and I received them by email as PDFs file from Intrerrail. But I cannot see these tickets on my mobile phone thanks to “My trip” window. I have no “show tickets” button like explained in an email I received. Do you think it is a problem? Or must I add these tickets through the Rail Planner application?Here is attached what is displayed on my phone when I go to “My Pass” (I have hidden the pass number and my name).I cannot display something like a QRcode showing the Pass itself. (wen I go to “details” window there is nothing else which is displayed excepted my ID number and my birth date)I think that my pass is not activated. What do you think about this?Thanks for your help!Bertrand 

We are traveling on Eurail pass and will arrive in Zurich airport about 830am on 30 April 2023. There was a direct train RJX 165 from Zurich HB to Wien HB at 10:40am - 6:32pm previously. However today I checked and the route on SBB website is no longer available. It requires a change from Zurich HB →  Sarganz →  Kufstein and then take SV200 to Salzburg HB and finally RJX 869 to Vienna HB.Anyone knows how to take this SV200 (how to get to this bus stop) or is there any easier way with less transfer as we are bringing luggage along?Rail Planner showed a route that goes Zurich HB (TRN2363) → Sarganz (RJX 165) → Wien HB and does not include SV200 but I am not sure if it is because some of the disruption is not taken into account in Rail Planner app.

Hi,I am late with booking (only decided to go today!) and can’t seem to find tickets to get from Paris to Barcelona (in July) and then Barcelona to Malaga. Can I just turn up at the station and book directly with the ticket office or will that be super expensive? Thanks so much.

Hello guys :) ,I want to travel on 10 August from Stockholm at 21:56 to Gällivare at 13:01. I own an interrail Ticket. I read that for a Night Train I only have to use one day of the ticket (in this case 10.8). But at 10am I have to change train in Boden (11.08). Is my Ticket (10.08) still valid for the new train? I want to book it on sj.seThank you :)) Thanks

pls help me I’m so lost here. I need to get from north Italy to Barcelona on July 5th and I wish to do it by night train. I found this train through eurail https://shop.italiarail.com/options?departureStationId=830001700&arrivalStationId=830012041&departureDate=2023-07-05&adults=1&children=1&railcardType=0 but I don’t understand anything. It shows me the same prices that I see in their site, so eurail is no good here? how do I find a night train ( without changes) that gets me to barcelona (or even anywhere, just for the night train experience)?

We are travelling tomorrow in the Thalys from Brussels-Midi to Gare du Nord. My seat reservation is for 9422 but the train number coming up in the rail planner is 9322. The trains appear to be the exact same schedule. Is it the same train or do I need to somehow find the 9422 in the planner? If it is the same will it be an issue that my ticket is 9322 but my reservation is for 9422? Thanks!

hi guys so im trying to organise a travel im from france and i want to go to the estern europ go down to greece and get up by italy to go back in france so i planeffied almost all my travel buti am searching how to get acces in greece from balkanies countrie, i tried to reaserche on timelabs from roumania, bulgaria and macdonia but it seem that therse no train how go to greece i dont understund if any body can help i will be thankful

I’m planning to travel in Europe soon with my Eurail Global Pass. I am not able to book a ticket for a train using my iPhone, but it worked with a laptop. I’m not going to travel with my laptop, so I really need to figure out how to book tickets online with my iPhone. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

​Hello, we have bought two Eurail global mobile passes (1st class) and have encountered difficulty making seat reservation for two trains:(1) from Geneve to Paris Gare De Lyon departs at 08:29 on 26 May 2023 (TGV 9764; 1st class seat); and(2) from London St Pancras Intl to Paris Nord departs at 15:31 on 4 June 2023 (ES 9036; 1st class seat). After inputt​​ing billing address, credit card information and all travellers’ details, we got an error message “Something went wrong” when proceeding with the payment for seat reservation (see the screenshot below), and thus could not complete the payment. We also tried refreshing the page, using an incognito browser and cleaning cookies/temporary files but still did not work. Please advise how the issue could be resolved. Many thanks in advance.  

I live in Switzerland and have a general pass, so I can travel on any train in the whole country without buying additional tickets. I want to buy a one country pass for italy 4 days to go visit my boyfriend in Rome two weekends during a month. Now, since by buying it I could travel without buying an additional ticket in Switzerland and in Italy, but not from Switzerland to Italy and back, I need to buy a ticket to get through the border. My question is, can I buy one ticket from the last stop before the border in Switzerland to the first stop after the border in Italy (Como) or do I need to buy the ticket from the stop I get on the train to the stop i get off (Milan)?

Hi, I am going from Interlaken to Paris on the 4th May with my pass but I don’t know the best way as it saying not in pass network. 

The train from s’Hertogenbosch to Basel on 26 april, 10.09 is visible in the Eurorail app on my i-pad but not visible in the app on my phone. I want to add this journey to my pass. What to do? (I know that i can add the journey manually)

Ciao, ho acquistato un global pass di 4 giorni, attivandolo ad Aprile per un viaggo in Spagna ad Agosto.Voglio cambiare viaggio e periodo ma quando vado a simulare il nuovo viaggio (in Dicembre) non mi permette di fare alcuna simulazione, dicendo che il pass non è valido.Perchè?..il pass l’ho già attivato ma ho comprato solo un biglietto della prima tratta.Grazie

I bought 3 global passes, and just noticed I’ve been double charged in my credit card. I have two charges of $1,074. I delivered my information to a bot, but haven’t received any response. This seems to be something that happens a lot.
