Hi!We are hoping to travel from Strasbourg to Florence in early July.We have seen the train from Strasbourg to Basel exists and doesn’t need booking. However, when looking on the Eurail app, the train from Basel to Milan was ~12 hours, whereas on Trainline, it was ~4. We are worried that the faster train doesn’t come under the interrail pass, please help if you know. From Milan to Florence, we could find a train with Trenitalia however, once again, there was nothing on the app. For Trenitalia, we can’t add our interrail pass, so we don’t know if we need to book or not. We would super grateful for any help!

I can’y make a seat reservation for a specific train destination via the interrail apprication. It’s impossible ro book a trip on Frech SNCF because you can not fill in tjay you have an interrail pass (only specific SNCP cards and passes are accepted). I asked SNCF and they answered go to the train station and book it there.This means that Interrail sells passes but you can’t book tickets on their application for some trains/destinations. It means also that SNCF is in the interrail program but you can not book online on their application. It means also that I will have to travel 80 km back and forth to order our tickets. Is there another possibility to book online tickets in France with interrail pass without having to travelby bus to the nearest (small) station only to be told, perhaps, that it is not possible in that station and that I must go to another (larger) station.Nice service that Interrail prigram! 

What if a train connection is not available on the interrail app? Can I add the train connection myself or do I have to pay for this train connection?

I found about interrail recently and I want to buy one ticket, my question is:  The one month pass it is calendaristic month or from the moment you start the first trip??Thank you!!

I have the 3 month global pass through eurail, I have the mobile app version and as of recently the pass has disappeared from my app. I have been traveling for a month now and have not had a single issue. I have tried uninstalling the app several times as well as restarting my phone and making sure that my phone and app are up to date, no resolution. When I try to re add my pass it says error. I have contacted support but I’ve only read online that they are notoriously bad with aid and take days or weeks to respond. I have a train set for tomorrow and have already bought my seat reservations but I can’t access my train tickets. The customer support is non existent and practically useless witch should not be an issue for a pass I paid $800 for. Please if anyones has a resolution or if there’s anyways to speed up the customer support service please write to the conversation. 

Hello everybody!Just joined the community and have a question about making reservations on the Caledonian Sleeper with the Global Eurail Pass. Went through the community posts on the topic and was able to select the “Room Supplement” option as advised by the community.However, the booking amount does not change much… The Club option amount comes down to GBP420 from 425 while the Classic option amount in fact goes up from GBP 290 to 300. What is even more strange is that the Seat option is “Sold Out” after selecting Room Supplement option. I have a Global Eurail Pass (2-month/First Class) for a family of 2 adults and 2 children aged 6 & 8 years. Before selecting Room Supplement option: After selecting Room Supplement option: 

I am from Germany and I would like to travel by train from Bremen to Lyon and back from Lyon to Bremen to visit a friend. The date I plan to travel to Lyon is May 17th, and the day I want to return from Lyon to Bremen is May 21st or alternatively May 22nd. I have checked train connections on the website of Deutsche Bahn, but the fares are significantly more expensive than using the Interrail Global Pass. Therefore, I would like to use the Global Pass with the "4 days in a month" option during my travels. However, I am uncertain about which connections I am allowed to take. Can I take the TGW, the IC, and the ICE trains with the Interrail Global Pass? I will only be traveling on two days (instead of four days as paid for in the pass) with a few changeovers on both trips. With these information provided, is it possible for me to purchase the interrail global pass “4 days in a month” for around 230 Euros?I would be really thankful for help :) Thanks in advance!

I’m thinking about purchasing the 10 days in 2 months pass for travelling through Great Britain, starting in Luxembourg. My residency is Germany. Hello everyone,I'm a first time interrailer and had my first trip (from germany to the uk and back) all planned out when I ran into problems for my trip back due to the announced strikes in great britain.My intended itinerary had me taking a train from Leeds to London on the morning of the 30.3. and then the Eurostar to Paris at 17:31. Since this late train would make getting all the way home quite tight and depending on a lot of connections, so I opted for staying the night in Paris and taking the TGV to Freiburg at 17:25 on the 31.3.I'm travelling with a global pass and have already reserved the Eurostar as well as the TGV.With the now announced strikes I'm unsure how to proceed, as at the moment it looks like there will be a high possibility of no train running on the 30st from Leeds to London (there is no strike timetable yet) so I have no possibility of getting to London in time to get the Eurostar.What possibilities do I have here?I'd rebook to an Eurostar on the 31st, but there

Hi there, we have most of our legs reserved for our Europe trip in May but I am unclear how to book reservations in the UK. When I searched for the trains in Reservations, it showed the train times and then said that I couldn’t book the reservation via Eurail. How do I book reservations on these trains and let them know I have a Eurail pass? Bit confused. Planning to go From London to Coventry and then back from Coventry to London before getting the Paris train (which we’ve booked already). We have a global pass.

Buenas noches, Me ha surgido un problema a la hora de la reserva de mis trenes. Hay algunos trayectos de trenes en los que hay que hacer trasbordo que me aparece como no disponible para poder comprarlo, como que no necesitan reservas. ¿Cuál es la posibilidad de que me quede sin asiento en ese tren? Au moment de l’achat de mon pass interrail jeune au mois de mai 2022, j’avais 27ans et j’avais donc 11mois pour partir. Je souhaitais partir l’été 2022, mais je n’ai pas pu. Je voulais donc partir en avril 2023, cependant je viens de voir qu’on ne pouvait pas activer son pass si on a plus que 27ans, je me retrouve con et je ne sais pas comment faire. Quelqu’un à déjà été dans la même situation que moi ? Merci de votre aide.Ludovic 

Once a trip is booked ( on the eurorail pass )what is the way you can adjust the booking if something changes our schedule like a plane time change or other possible delays that could keep us from making the time that the original booking was made. If we miss the booked time ( on our eurorail pass ) due to some unforeseen issue do we reschedule the trip without cost?Can we decide to get off the train before the destination chosen and then get back on another train later to complete the journey or do we need to book another trip for the second part of the trip?  

Hello, or should I say guten tag? 😁 I am busy making planning ideas for 2 months in Europe. I really want to see some places in Germany and have had ideas about basing myself in one place and travelling by day to surrounding cities and towns.So I thought that maybe Hamburg would be a good base for maybe a week and to take day trips to the likes of Lubeck, Bremen and Oldenburg. For a long time now I have been fascinated with the history of merchant cities in medieval Europe, so Lubeck is a must. Hamburg is probably a similar experience.Using the app I can see that travelling from Hamburg to these places is so fast because of Germany’s high speed links. I just want to be sure that I can make the most of these places with a day trip so was looking for ideas from people that know. I will continue to do watching and reading online but I thought asking the experienced here would also be a good idea. I suspect this would make booking accomodation so much easier than having to find hotels etc

Hello, I do live in the Netherlands at the moment and want to travel to Austria with my family!We would like to start and end our trip from Cologne, as we only live a few minutes away from the border and starting in NL would add up 4h of travel (one way)…Would this trip be possible, using the Global Pass?Cheers, Heiko
