Seat reservation from Barcelona to Madrid - not possible to book

Hey all! We’re travelling next Wednesday 17th august from Barcelona to Spain and saw that we can’t book the reservation online. There are multiple trains a day going through this route so I’m a bit confused why we can’t , can anyone give guidance? Should we wait to get to Barcelona and book at the station? Thanks so much in advance!

rebook reservation to earlier train

Hi! I was able to catch a train two hours prior to my reservation. This happend since that train had some delay, so I could make the transfer.It's a train with recommended reservation. But since I'm already traveling, I can't find the train in the system. What the best way to be assured of a seat?Already tried booking from a station later on the traject... Thanks!

Unable to book a reservation - No selection available to add reservation

Hi, I’m trying to book a reservation for two journeys that we absolutely want to be on a specific train and be able to sit with our traveling companions.  I’ve gone to the Seat Reservations tab on eurail.com, and searched/selected the train(s) I want. The site (correctly) states that reservations are not required, but can be purchased anyway. The Total Amount is shown as USD $0 and the Add to Cart button is greyed out (presumably because there is no balance shown).When I select a different journey (as a test) that requires reservations, even if not for all legs, it has a “Show Prices/Hide Prices” twistie that allows me to select a reservation (see example below), but the desired journey above does not show this.  Am I doing something incorrectly? It looks like I can make a reservation on the Deutsche Bahn site.  Should I just do that instead?

It seems like every Eurostar train London- Brussel/Paris is fully booked

Quick question,ill travel to London for 4 Days and found a nice connection. But on my way back it seems like every train from London to Brussel or Paris is fully booked with Interrail. Is there any chance that ill get my reservation on the 24.07 or is it normal that every Eurostar Train is booked. (I checked for Trains starting 22.07 - 10.08 and every single one is not available) thanks to your help

Eurail mailed paper ticket to wrong adress

I had my paper ticket for a Paris-Barcelona reservation mailed to my friend’s place in Poland with my friend being the recipient as I won’t arrive there until July 21. The date of departure on the ticket is July 26. Yesterday, I checked the tracking and somebody at Eurail put my surname after my friend’s first name as the receiver, not his proper name as I entered it in the form. I absolutely 100% completed the form correctly. This is a silly mistake on Eurail’s behalf, but I’m concerned that because it is being sent registered mail, the postal company will not complete the delivery.  I emailed customer service and have not yet gotten a response.  What year is it? Why on earth is this mailed paper ticket a thing? Small mistakes like this can cause huge headaches.

I am unable to add my Pass to my new device, even though it was un-linked from my old phone.

Hi Could you please help! I am unable to add my pass to my new phone even though customer services have un-linked it from my old broken phone. Ever time I try to add it, it says I am offline but I am fully connected to the internet. I have tried many times. Thank you.

Can't make reservations due to bug on Interrail website

I can’t make reservations through eurail/interail. You can’t progress past “continue to traveller details”. The community suggests making them through individual websites but OBB etc say they aren’t available. How do I make reservations on the following trains/route (photo attached)

Rail Planner: Can I change the authentication (Apple touch id)? It is not working but I need it to activate my Pass.

Hello everyone,I have a question regarding the activation of a pass by using the touch id (apple) for authentication. My Touch ID isn’t working well anymore, but I have to use it to activate my pass. Is there a chance to change from touch id to password e.g.?Thank you in advance!Stina

Change starting date after journey started

Hi all,Me and my friend need some help. We have tried to contact Interail every day since one week back but haven’t received any answer.  Our flight was delayed so we couldn’t start our journey on our starting date. And since this was after midnight we couldn’t change it in the app. Resulting in us loosing one journey. We only have a 5 days-pass, so one travel less has big impact. Do you know if there is any way to still change starting date afterwards? As I said, I have emailed Interail but don’t get any reply. So don’t know what to do.. any idea?

Discount on FGC lines?

On the 2022 Interrail map (found on this page), some lines around Barcelona run by FGC are shown as "Railways with discount”. It refers to the pass benefits section in the rail planner app for details, but it has no mention of these rail services. I also checked the benefits portal but nothing there either (interestingly, the website lists 26 benefits for Spain, the app 25).The FGC website does not mention Interrail or Eurail anywhere.So is this still accurate? I have also asked FGC via their Facebook page.

I have made seat reservations for 3 journeys.Payment for all has been taken from my account but I have only received the email reservations for 2 of the journeys. The reservation missing is for a journey to Perugia. How do I contact customer services to ask about this -is that what I should do now?is there a telephone number for customer services?I have a mobile interrail pass

I have not received my pass number or the pass itself. I filled in the form correctly but I have not received anything. I didn't realise until now because I hadn't started to organise the trip yet. I don't know what I can do or if the problem is mine or a mistake of discover eu, I think I did it right :(

Van Polen naar Slowakije

Leuke interrailers!Dit bericht is in het Nederlands, maar reageer gerust in het Engels.Mijn vriend en ik zijn bezig met het plannen van onze interrailreis en zouden graag het Tatra-gebergte in Slowakije willen bezoeken vanuit het plaatsje Starý Smokovec. Nu zijn we daarvoor in Krakau. Het probleem is dat de treinplanners ons via een grote omweg sturen (Via Katowice naar Tsjechië) om vervolgens Slowakije in te komen. Ik denk dat de grens tussen Polen en Slowakije dicht is? Weet iemand of deze grenzen binnenkort weer opengaan en/of er weer treinen gaan rijden tussen Polen en Slowakije. Eigenlijk tussen Krakau en Poprad/Starý Smokovec?Groetjes!

I want to go from Munich to Budapest in a week and the app states that a seat reservation is required, on the other hand the official website says that a seat reservation is not necessary. Which information is correct?

Reserva de asientos y pase ida y cuelta al pais de residencia

Buenas tardes. El día 12 a las 14.45 llegamos a Barcelona y desde allí queremos llegar a Praga, pero necesitamos reservar desde Barcelona a Perpignan y en Renfe me dijeron que ya está completo. Por lo tanto no podemos hacer el resto de reservas que requería el viaje.Con la aplicación hemos probado la opción "reserva de asientos no requeridos" y nos sale un itinerario alternativo. Adjunto captura. ¿Es seguro que no necesitamos hacer reserva y que podemos subirnos sin problema a todos los trenes? Otra duda importante: ¿el viaje de ida y vuelta como se computa si vuelvo desde un punto distinto? Y si termino en Barcelona, ​​en lugar de Sevilla que es donde empiezo. Gracias

INT 461 from Bucuresti Nord to Halkali

Hello hive mind!I am planning to take the night train from Bucurest Nord to Halkali. In the rail planner app, and on https://bileteinternationale.cfrcalatori.ro/, this train is shown as one train with no changes on the way. However when I tried to book the reservation at the DB travel center, I was told that I have to change two times on the way. Checking the time table (https://p.bdz.bg/www/p/t/ptev-mezhd-cfr-2022-lyato-3011.pdf) the trip is also shown with a changeover. Does anybody know which information in valid?Thanks in advance :)

How to: Changing first day of travel while having booked already for another day which required seat reservation

Hello,First time with the pass (with my familiy of 4). I followed the instructions. We wanted to travel on Monday the 8th of August (date I set on the App) and then when looking for time table we realized that one of the trains requires seat reservation (Hamburg-Copenhagen). When trying to do this seat reservation, we found out that all the trains on Monday 8th were fully booked and the only way was to postpone of one day. I now have booked the seats for the following day, with the Eurorail App, but my first day of travel is still set on Monday 8th of August on the App. I really dont know and dont understand how to change this first day of travel (i have a pass with only 4 days of travel for one Month). If I cancel my pass and set again a new date, I am afraid this will mess up with my seat reservations…..Please help me. As you can see below, the app says I have only two days left for traveling (out of 4).

Can I add a new trip to my triplist every new day?

When I have a 2 months Global Pass and I activated allready, could I add every new day a new trip into my Trip List? And incase that I cant travelling a trip in a day, can I add the same trip at the next day, because an exist trip are not to cancel?

Which trip counts as the outbound / inbound Trip

Hi Everyone,first time Interrail User here. I’m based in Berlin and my first trip is supposed to go to France. Due to the relatively long distance I was planning to make it a 2-day trip. First Berlin > Frankfurt, stay for a night and then do Frankfurt > Paris the next morning.Now with a global Pass I’ve got one inbound and one outbound ticket included. My question is if the Frankfurt > Paris trip counts as the “outbound” one or if I can use the Berlin > Frankfurt trip for it instead? Thanks in advance! Best, M

I did not get a pass number - section is blank

I paid for my pass that was on the sale, I got a confirmation email and then in the next one I didn’t get a pass number the section was blank. And the Monet isn’t in my account so I have paid. I have emailed support. But I was wondering if anyone knew what was going on. :)

Hi, we bought the 7 travel days in one month pass but we realize we only need the 5 travel days pass. If we do an exchange by paying the 30 euros fees, are we getting the refund for the 7 travel days in one month and we only need to pay the 5 travel days in one month pass price?  Thank you for your help

Inquiry about cancelling reservation tickets. Bought together but cancel for 1 person.

Hello. I booked the train tickets with my friends at once. But I'm the only one who should change the travel schedule. Therefore, I would like to cancel my seat reservation. In this case, however, I have to cancel mine and my friends' tickets at once. Is there any way I can cancel only just my ticket, not my friends’ tickets.
