If the public transport gets delayed will the next train line will allow you to board the next train?

Hello everyone quick question. Some of the routes I will be taking involved public transport (bus) from one train station to the other. My question is, if the public transport gets delayed will the next train line will allow you to board the next train? And will this involve a fee?

Ayuda - Viajes solo con reservas desde UK a Paris y son muy costosas

Necesito ayuda, me encuentro de viaje y con el pase activado, estoy buscando un viaje de Liverpool a París, pero todos los viajes me piden hacer reserva de asiento, y son reservas que superan los 100 USD para dos personas, lo cual, es demasiado, siento que el pase no tiene ninguna utilidad si me van a cobras esos cargos extras tan elevados.

Danemark et Suède en famille

Nous sommes une famille de 5 avec 3 enfants entre 5 et 10 ans.Nous aimerions visiter le Danemark et la Suède cet été,  au départ de Paris. Jul-Aug 2024 train timetables not available when searched on eurail

Hi All,My family and I planning for a round trip to Europe Jul-Aug 2024 from Australia. I have been advised to get eurail global pass.when I am searching in eurail website for the Jul-Aug 2024 to plan our trip from one point to another, no schedule showing up in Jul or Aug.Why is that so?and one more question is if the Global pass is independent of the travel dates and can be purchased anytime? The details on my OBB cross-border PDF train ticket looks weird.

Hello,I’m planning to visit Austria and Germany for the first time this April and have booked a cross-border ticket from Salzburg to Munich on April 21, but compared to another domestic ticket I booked with the same company it looks quite different. On the first page, the ticket only shows origin and destination without further details and the spelling of the names of the cities seem different than the second page which is the seat reservation confirmation page. Is this normal for this kind of ticket? I have to use them for VISA application from where I’m from, so It kind of worries me.

Bookings from Brussels to Amsterdam - Sep 2024

I’m trying to book first class seats using interrail passes from brussels to amsterdam on 4th september 2024. The interrail app doesn’t show any results however the rail europe website shows plenty options but doesn’t seem to allow me to book them. The Eurostar website shows this date blanked out??? Any ideas?

Bus fahren in Portugal

Hallo, gibt es eine Möglichkeit auf irgend einer Website die Busse in Portugal im Voraus zu Checken?Also Bezüglich der Zeiten und Fahrplänen ..Ansonsten wollte ich auch fragen, wie die Busse denn so preislich liegen? ist das mit den Bussen in Deutschland zu vergleichen? könnte man auch vor Ort beim Busfahrer ein Ticket kaufen?

Refund request doesn't show

Hello guys,so I requested a refund for my pass last week and the interrail page said it would be checked if my pass is eligible for refund (which it definitely is). I know that it takes time until these things get checked and verified but I find it strange that I can’t see any indication of my refund request anywhere in my account. Is that normal? Anyone has any experience with how the refund works and how long it takes?

Details about Eurail pass and validity

Hi friendI have visiting Europe in March. I will be visiting Switzerland (5nights) , Italy (6 nights), France (4 nights) and Netherlands (1 nights). I have purchased EURAIL global pass for 15 days for self, wife and kid (11years). I want to know, is this pass valid for all these countries. I mean say, I will be traveling between Zurich to Bern & also Florence, Italy to Rome, Italy and Venice. Finally to Paris and Amsterdam. Want to know will be my pass valid for all travels? Understand I need to purchase Seat Reservation extra. But will my main travel be covered under one pass. will my pass be valid for all countries. Your comments/ suggestion/ guidance will help me.RegardsAjay

AVE Reservation Lyon to Barcelona

Hi there! I am a bit nervous as I need a reservation for this train:  Date 27.01. From: Lyon Part-Dieu To: Barcelona Sants. Departure: 13:45, Time: 05:49 h, Trainnumber: AVE INT 09742I called Renfe, called DB, ÖBB and SBB to reserve and asked at DB and ÖBB Office to reserve but no. Also online it is not possible. Has anyone here an idea? Thank you :))

Only 55 days given to activate mobile Eurail German Rail Pass instead of 11 months from purchase

I purchased 3 mobile Flexi pass {7 days in one month) on December 9 2023. But on app shows “activate pass by February 1 2024” Since The latest activation date and the latest start date is 11 months after purchase, I have no idea why my last activation date is Feb 1st 2024? These passes will be completely NOT useable for my trip in Germany which starts on March 30th 2024. Please help! Thank you.

unacceptable!! Interrail refuses to refund my seat reservations!

I am facing a very very bad experience with Interrail customer service. I couldn't pay for my seat reservations, every time the page said "bad request". After the 4th time, I finally succeeded. Now I can see on my bank account that the payment was made 4 times! I've explained the situation to interrail, but they say it's all my fault and that you have to wait 30 minutes to validate the payment. Even though a page indicated a bug. How can I get my money back (€48)? Thank you for your help!

German strikes 24th Jan

Hello all,We are currently traveling from the Netherlands to Prague, arriving this evening (23rd) but with the German train strikes for all International trains on the 24th-29th we are unsure on how to get back. I am unsure which day we will be able to make it back but it is possible that it would take two days. How would compensation for this work? Would we need to travel as far as Germany from Prague and then hope for a hotel or would accomodation be paid for in Prague given it would be impossible to get home? Also with getting an extra day pass on the interrail ticket how does that work? If we went the route of avoiding Germany, how should we pay for any extra reservations needed? A lot of questions I know but any help with this is much appreciated!Thanks

Notification of Train Strike

I was left stranded in Hamburg on the 9th January when my train to Copenhagen was cancelled and the train strike commenced the following day. I ended up getting a flight from Hamburg to Copenhagen which will be covered by travel insurance but I need to provide evidence that there was a train strike on that day. Is there an official notice I can download of the strike on that day that I can provide as proof there was a strike?

Hello, can somebody tell us whether or not we can go to Alberobello from Amalfi in 1 day by train?  Almafi to Naple to Bari to Albelrobello. France June 15-30

I am a first time Eurail rider. I am looking to go from Paris to Zurich in mid to late June and nothing is available. Is there some kind of event or shutdown going on during this period? The train scheduler wants to send me north to Brussels then across to Germany and down to Zurich, it is like an extra 4 hours.

UK and Ireland Transportation Method

Hello from the USA!  3 of us are traveling to the UK and Ireland in June for 17 days. Wondering what others think the best means of transportation for the entire trip would be? It looks like one of the variations of the Eurorail pass might be best but I’m having a hard time understanding the speed trains and if that’s a thing inside of one country - or do they only go across borders? I don’t want to spend so much time on the trains! Also - will the Eurorail pass take us from England over to Ireland? Thank you so much to all!

Mannheim to Caen, Eurail Global Pass, on Friday in May??? Never Traveled By Train before.

Hello, I’ve been reading Travel Books, Travel Websites and oh so many questions and answers about Train Travel in France, especially Paris St Lazare these past few weeks and I’m not getting a warm fuzzy feeling about this ;-)     I have never traveled by train before, so it is all new to me.Briefly, Land in Amsterdam, train to Cologne, train to Mannheim, train to Paris est, Taxi to St Lazare, train to Caen.          Mannheim to Caen is on a Friday in May 2024.Following Friday in May, Train from Caen to Munich via St Lazare, Paris est, Stuttgart, then Munich.CONCERNS: Books/Websites say to Book Trains and Seat Reservations early. 60-90 days early if possible, especially if traveling on Fridays, Busy Months Like May, Using Eurail passes because seats sell out faster and there is a limit on how many Eurail Passes that will be allowed on trains. Oh, I almost forgot, this 2024 is the 80th Anniversary for D-Day and I will be in Normandy a few weeks before June 6th.GREATEST CONCERN; Not getti
