Hello,I am a first-time user of Eurail and I would like to know which pass would be appropriate for a round-trip day trip between Basel and Paris. I wasn’t sure if that would require the Global Pass because each end point is in a different country.Thank you. 

I am with a group of 5 Adults from USA …. 4 seniors and adult 34 yrs that is disabled. Our global passes are first class.  We fly to Zurich Sep 30 travel by train to Colmar, FR for 3 nights … then to Interlaken, SW for 2 nights … then to Zermatt, SW for 2 nights … then finally travel to Tuscany/Florence for 9 nights. We all have the Flex Global Pass for 5 days in month.The main question I have is … do we put all 5 global passes on one device or separate devices? Is there a website you recommend to book seat reservations or using the Eurail website and pay the additional 2 euro admin fee? Since we are a group of 5 is it difficult to get all 5 of us sitting close to each other?Thank youDave

Hi all..next December will be my first time in Europe.i bought eurail pass , but i cant book the reservationit is said no trains found.usually how many days/weeks before the schedule come out?because i checked a couple earlier the schedule is available

I am planning on travelling for 1 month, then staying in one place for a month, then travelling for another 2 months. Can you pre-load two passes onto the App then activate each one when you need it? 

Hello,Planning my trip to France, Italy, Germany, Austria and Switzerland for September 2025 and trying to figure out costs for Switzerland.I’m looking to find which cablecars/gondolas are covered using the Eurail Global Pass for the Bernese-Oberland area including Grindelwald and surrounding areas like Kanderstegg to get to Oeschinensee Lake. I know there is a coverage map for trains, but wasn’t sure if there was one for cablecars/gondolas and/or a site that lists the cost of these as well. Any help is so greatly appreciated!!

Hi,I'm researching some of the seat reservation sites in preparation for an interrail trip next year. So the following journey is just a test and not urgent.I'm using the RailEurope website.When I enter a query for Paris Est to Karlsruhe Hbf 13th Nov start time 10:30 with interrail pass, the 13.51 train (TGV 9575) has 'Seat reservation has to be done at station' which is obviously bad news if I'm trying to plan from the UK.When I enter the same query BUT start time 7:30, the same 13.51 train (TGV 9575) now has 'Seat reservation is required' and available online (€18). Hurray!!Any idea what's going on?Is it a bug on the website or something I’m doing wrong? Also why would it say 'Seat reservation has to be done at station' in the first place. 

Hi,This will be my first time using the Eurail pass on the app. I need to book and reserve our seats from Zurich to Paris, mid December, however, will get a new phone the week before we depart and am therefore very hesitant to activate or link the pass for our family as I read that you can only transfer the pass once to another phone (if I am correct?).Can I book and reserve on the website?.I would greatly appreciate advice on what I need to do first, is there perhaps a step by step guide?Many thanks for the advice and assistance.

Hi All..I am planning to take half day trip from Muenchen to Neuschwanstein Castlebut I notice it quite late, will be back to Muenchen around 4.30 PM.is there any half day trip that offer come back to Muenchen earlier? (like 02.30 PM already back to Muenchen)because we need to go to Zurich, we dont want to be so late. or maybe is there other advise for halfday trip from muenchen from morning to afternoon time? Thanks before.

HiI bought the "eurail global pass" for days. My first trip from London to Paris on December 14th. I paid for the seat reservation for my family. I can't book the train from Vienna to Venice through the app. When I tried to pay directly on the page only for the seats, they weren't available. The truth is that it has been complicated for me to use the app to book (the trips I need don't appear) and then go to an external page to pay for the seats. If I cancel the eurail global pass, do I lose the tickets that were sent to me by email for the trip from London to Paris that I already have ready? Thank you very much. Greetings from Chile

Hello everyone,we would like to book a reservation for the night train from Milano to Palermo for the end of December (27.12.).Unfortunately, Trenitalia and Interrail only offers reservations for daytime connections. Does anyone know when it will be possible to book/see the night train or whether it will no longer be available?

Hello, I am planning to do my 2nd Interrail trip during December for my birthday and I am looking for train connections from Salzburg to Chur on December 15th on Interrail app but it is not showing anything. Although, when I checked the OBB website, I get to see the train timetable.Do I need to wait a little longer for the update of new train timetable on the Interrail app or just do a manual train entry connection on the app for my trip planner? Thank you

It is have any tips for the glacier or panoramic train for free or included the global pass? and last, what is not included global pass in switzerland?please for your information. Hello beautiful people! I’m planning a Eurotrip for my 30th birthday in February/March 2025 and I’d like your advice on how to get from city to city using the Eurail Pass. Whenever possible, I would prefer to travel by night to save money/lower the cost of my trip. Here’s my itinerary so far:Barcelona (3-4 days) Marseille (2-3 days) Milan (2-3 days) **or should I go to Venice instead? hello~!before using the pass…..if the train is delayed at transfer station and I end up boarding after midnight then what is the number of global pass usage?and.....if the train does not arrive on time so I missed the train to transfer at the next station. then  what am I supposed to do?

Hi everyone! Its my first time here.Im planning my trip over christmas to Ireland. I was thinking of purchasing the 6 days w/month for one country pass.So, from sweden to Dublin. The planner says it takes 2 days. And saving another 2 days for the return.I also want to travel to different counties withing Ireland (7 counties/cities to be exact)How would you recommend doing this? Is it even possible to cover all this with a 6 day pass? But a global pass seems unnecessary for just one country? Another question. I wanted to travel using the pass from Dublin to Galway. I used the app, to lay out the plan and there are no given routes. No busses or trains going there. How could that be, when on the website its one of the destinations given? Has anyone traveled to Ireland from scandinavia? If so, what route do you recommend? Thank you much :)

Does Eurail usually offer year end or new year promotional prices for Benelux Pass?

Hello! First time poster here. My partner and I are planing a train adventure next May and I was wondering if people knew if the intercity notte 765 night train between Milan and Bari runs in May or is it seasonal? We are looking to connect with the ferry to Patras in Greece. Any advice booking tickets e.g. when they will be available, the best days to travel and alternate routes is always welcome!  Thanks! Doug

Hello,My partner and I have planned our trip via interrail for next week and we have therefore been able to make our reservations for our journeys which include trains with seats and others without.We received the tickets for the trains with seats. However, we expected to receive a ticket for the trains without, which we did not. Is this normal, please, or have we missed something?For example, we have a planned journey from Paris to Amsterdam with a stopover in Brussels, for which we received a Paris - Brussels ticket, but not a Brussels - Amsterdam ticket. Thank you in advance and have a nice day. PS : Sorry for my english

Hello,My wife and I are coming to Zurich on January 17th 2025 and our return will be from Bergamo on January 20th. The main purpose of the trip is this; to take the Bernina Express. İf possible, I want to see the glacier express route. My plan is to go to as many places as I can by train with short breaks. We want to spend the rest of our time on an Alpine trip as much as possible, it doesn't matter on the Swiss or Italian side.  I would like to get your suggestions about train travel, tickets and places to visit and stay. There are so many people in this community who want to help and that's gratifying.

Bonjour,j’ai un pass global de 10 jours sur 2 mois et je ne comprends pas vraiment le principe de inbound/outbound. Mon itinéraire c’est d’aller à Rome depuis Nice en premier (15-20 nov) puis de partir de Paris pour la Suède 15 jours plus tard (1er dec) mais si je comprends bien, si mon premier voyage Nice-Rome est mon outbound de France alors je ne peux plus faire de trajet en France ? Donc je ne peux pas faire Rome-Nice (20 nov) et Paris-Franckfort (1er dec)?Je vous remercie pour votre aide si vous arrivez à m’éclairer là dessus :)Charlotte

Bonjour J’ai un pass Grande Bretagne et je suis vraiment perdue. Voici mes questions :Le parcours d’approche ne concerne que le Pass Global (cf. conditions de vente) pour autant, est-ce que je peux prendre un TER sans resa ou même un TGV avec une résa que j’achète ?(Quand j’essaye d’ajouter un trajet en France, j’ai un message d’erreur (voir photo) Est-ce que je peux prendre l’EUROSTAR avec seulement une réservation ?Merci pour vos conseils !
