Hi,Me and my daughter (age 13) would like to travel in december 27-5 jan. We would love to see the Northerlight. What's the most easy and most fun way to travel from Rotterdam. Norway? Sweden? Finland? We would like to travel 7-9 days. Is it also possible to book excursions like Husky ride etc?Is it still possible to reserve places or are we too late? Thanks in advance. ♡

Hello everyone, I have been given a Eurail pass for my birthday (47!) by my wife to get away from the UK for a week.  I have decided to travel through Germany for a bit of memory lane, Beginning in Cologne (flight really cheap from UK) and making my way from there to Mainz; Munich; Chur - Tirano - I really want to go on the Bernine express route - then fancy trying to fit in Venice and need to end up in Budapest on my fifth day travelling on a 5 day in one month global pass.  I have some questions I would love some advice on: Is the regional train from Chur to Tirano the same line  as the Bernine express but just not posh with big windows?  Tirano to Venice is a long old train but i really wanted to fit Venice in, however I need to be in Budapest for the end of the trip and beyond Tirano had no plans looking for good advice for 2-3 days travel between the two? I was considering the Venice to Vienna overnight train then out of ideas?  is Trieste an option to visit and get me on my way t

Hello everyone, hope you can help me! I’m departing form London to Paris on a Saturday Morning (Jan 11th), I will stay on Paris until the morning of Tuesday (14th) only to take a train to Lucerne that same day, will pass the night in Lucerne to take my last train the next day (Wednesday 15th) to Zurich and that would be the end of my train-trip. So my question is, how many days do I need to buy my eurail pass? As far as I understand, I need tu buy a 4 travel days global pass, but I’m not sure at all.  Lastly, despite it could be obvious, this is my first time in europe (therefore in european trains). What’s the difference between economy, budget and premium passes? is there a limit of luggage pieces I can carry in a budget or economy passes? considering economy and budget passes allows me to select first-class or second-class seats, it turns to me a little bit confusing. Thank you so much for your help, is much appreciated!

Hello ! I am travelling (alone) in scandinavia with the global pass, and at the moment i am in Stockholm.I used to not organize anything and move where i feel to go and i’ve only did big cities. But now, i would love to go to stunning nature places as i know these countries have to offer.Do anyone has recommendation or itineraries to visit these countries? I’ll be there for the next 4-5 months or more, so i have time to go everywhere!Big preference for nature while slow travelling, if it can be optimized with the weather of the next months (i mean, prioritizing “best” places in the “best month” for it) would be awesome.Thank you very much !

I see there are some works going in the route of Tirano to Milano and are they providing any substitute bus transport? how long does it take to reach Milan?Thank you

Hello. Planning ahead for a Eurostar reservation from Amsterdam to London St Pancras. I understand that this goes via Brussels but the Eurail booking site routes you from Amsterdam with at least 3 changes to get to Brussels (no reservations needed). However, every other site says there is an EC intercity from Amsterdam to Brussels which is part of the Eurocity connection. Why does the Eurail site not show this in any of the options? Rail Europe has a note saying that 8.10am Sunday train from Amsterdam to Brussels “Rail Pass doesn't apply for this trip”  Any ideas?ThanksJon

Hi,About thisOn 27 August 2023, a major landslide occurred on the line close to the tunnel at Saint-André à La Praz. All traffic through the tunnel, including the major TGV and Frecciarossa services between the Gare de Lyon and Milan Centrale / Porta Garibaldi were suspended. Hello, unfortunately I have another question about reservations for trains in Spain: Currently I can't make any reservations via interrail.eu as well as happyrail.com, regardless of the connection and time. The results on happyrail look like the attached screenshot for each connection/time. Is this problem known or has it ever occurred before? Is there anything that can be done?Many thanks and best regardsMarcel

Hi, I was wondering if it’s worth me buying the Swiss Travel Pass as I already plan to buy the EUrail global pass. My travel plans are:Copenhagen - Stockholm - Kiruna - Narvik - (fly from Tromso) London - Paris - Interlaken - Zermatt (Glacier Express) - Milan (will day trip from Milan to Lake Como or some else) - Rome then flying home.I will be staying in Interlaken. My days will look something like:Mount Rigi, Gratweg Stoos if it’s open (it will be early January), Lucerne Grindelwald First, walking around to Lake Bachalpsee, Iseltwald I’m still deciding which villages, but mainly Mannlichen, Lauterbrunnen, Murren, Grimmelwald, Wengen. Is it worth me buying a Swiss Travel Pass for 3 days if I already have the EUrail global pass for 7 days in 1 month if this is what my itinerary will look like? Or should I go for the other Swiss travel pass options like the Half Fare? My hotel will also give me a travel card? I’m not entirely sure what that’ll include either. Any advice is appreciated,

Hello,I am trying to book a seat reservation from Vienna to Bucharest but when i try through the Interrail website it says that seat reservations are required, but it isn’t giving me an option to book. And also on the bottom it says i have 4 free seat reservations left. What can i do to book a seat on this train?Thank you in advance

Hello In July we want to travel to Montenegro with the train (interrail). We will be departing in Belgium. We heard from other people who wanted to travel to Montenegro in the past that they had some issues with travelling trough Serbia. Aparantly, Serbia is not letting everybody trough. Hello, I am trying to make a reservation for the RENFE AVE from Marseille to Madrid. On interrail.eu I get the message: Currently, reserving seats for journeys in Spain is only possible at Spanish train stations or by calling RENFE directly.And happyrail.com does not show me any options.I also talked to Deutsche Bahn customer service. They say that RENFE tickets can currently not be issued through Deutsche Bahn.Is this only a temporary problem? Can I hope reservation will be possible in a few days?Thanks, Thomas 

Hello. On December 20th we will begin a family trip. On the website it says that you can reserve seats 60 or 90 days in advance, but when I enter the date it tells me that it has not yet enabled reservations for that date. We have a long route planned with Eurail and I am worried about not having information.I find the app and the website very unfriendly, no one from the company can solve anything for you, if I had known how complex it was I would not have bought the passes with this company.If anyone can help me I would appreciate it.Thank you so much.Laura

Early days planning a trip early next summer. I've hit a problem in that I am trying to find a train from Ljubljana to Sofia. All the usual websites seem to be saying that isn't possible. I've also specified starting at other locations that I can get to such as Zagreb, Budapest but have the same problem. Help please
