Hello! First time poster here. My partner and I are planing a train adventure next May and I was wondering if people knew if the intercity notte 765 night train between Milan and Bari runs in May or is it seasonal? We are looking to connect with the ferry to Patras in Greece. Any advice booking tickets e.g. when they will be available, the best days to travel and alternate routes is always welcome!  Thanks! Doug

Hello,My partner and I have planned our trip via interrail for next week and we have therefore been able to make our reservations for our journeys which include trains with seats and others without.We received the tickets for the trains with seats. However, we expected to receive a ticket for the trains without, which we did not. Is this normal, please, or have we missed something?For example, we have a planned journey from Paris to Amsterdam with a stopover in Brussels, for which we received a Paris - Brussels ticket, but not a Brussels - Amsterdam ticket. Thank you in advance and have a nice day. PS : Sorry for my english

Hello,My wife and I are coming to Zurich on January 17th 2025 and our return will be from Bergamo on January 20th. The main purpose of the trip is this; to take the Bernina Express. İf possible, I want to see the glacier express route. My plan is to go to as many places as I can by train with short breaks. We want to spend the rest of our time on an Alpine trip as much as possible, it doesn't matter on the Swiss or Italian side.  I would like to get your suggestions about train travel, tickets and places to visit and stay. There are so many people in this community who want to help and that's gratifying.

Bonjour,j’ai un pass global de 10 jours sur 2 mois et je ne comprends pas vraiment le principe de inbound/outbound. Mon itinéraire c’est d’aller à Rome depuis Nice en premier (15-20 nov) puis de partir de Paris pour la Suède 15 jours plus tard (1er dec) mais si je comprends bien, si mon premier voyage Nice-Rome est mon outbound de France alors je ne peux plus faire de trajet en France ? Donc je ne peux pas faire Rome-Nice (20 nov) et Paris-Franckfort (1er dec)?Je vous remercie pour votre aide si vous arrivez à m’éclairer là dessus :)Charlotte

Voici mes questions :Le parcours d’approche ne concerne que le Pass Global (cf. conditions de vente) pour autant, est-ce que je peux prendre un TER sans resa ou même un TGV avec une résa que j’achète ?(Quand j’essaye d’ajouter un trajet en France, j’ai un message d’erreur (voir photo) Est-ce que je peux prendre l’EUROSTAR avec seulement une réservation ?Merci pour vos conseils !

On final day of my next trip, planning to get from Frankfurt via Brussels-Eurostar to St Pancras (dep 08.16 - arr 13.57). All fine and dandy. Then have to head north. It occurs to me The Caledonian Express leaves Euston at 23.45 and I can get home via Edinburgh under own steam. If I get the McSleeper at that time, does that count as same travel day or does the time difference given day starts in Frankfurt mess things up. And is it still good as an “inbound journey” for getting back home? It wouldn’t be past the validity of the pass and not its final travel day either.

Hello everyone,I've been having the following problem all day: When I want to make a seat reservation for Spain, I get an error message shortly before completing the booking, even though seats are available. It reads: “Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again later or find another connection. This connection will be removed from your cart”If I want to make a reservation for France, for example, I do not receive this error message. I have already tried different browsers, deleting cookies etc.Can someone check if the same problem is occurring so that I know if the problem is mine or if there is a general technical problem?Many thanks and best regardsMarcel 

Hi!We want to go along the northern spanish coast. A few questions: 1.) For the feve railways: Which part is the most scienic? As the trains are really slow, we would only go where it is much more nice than the normal renfe railway…2.) I have seen, there are some Renfe trains in the rail planner app called TRN where are reservation is said to be needed. When I click on the details, there is only a 6€ fee for second class. We have Interrail first class. So is there no fee for us or is there no first class? Could it be, a only second class train where a reservation is needed?3.) Anyone of you went on the Spanish northern coast from Hendaye to northern Portugal? Which combination of trains seems to be especially good? I remember that some renfe trains offered free food for first class passengers and that there was also a scientic mountain route which is now replaced by a high speed tunnel…

Hi, I’m trying to book seats for a few different routes within Europe for December. I am not finding the schedule on Eurail beyond the 15th Dec., So I went onto the actual Train Operators sight to book the seats. They allow you to book seats only, but the cost is ridiculously high considering I have a first-class pass. Question 1) Can I book seats on the actual train operators’ website?Question 2) Can you do this (q1) using your passQuestion 3) Can you add these bookings to the eurail app? Or do you have an alternative recommendation, we are a group of 9, so don’t want to miss out on train reservations. I have had to enter a lot of my trips manually into the app, can I use the manual entry when boarding a trip or does it need to be canceled & entered again.

I’m traveling from Marseille to Barcelona via Narbonne, changing trains in Narboone.When entering these details in the Rail Planner do I need to include as 2journeys on the same day or just a one journey on that day?Will the pass ticket for that day be useable on both legs?

Hi, I already used my 10 day travel of my pass but i need to get back home. But won’t be a problem bc i’ts a day time train and I’m coming back to my country of residence with the inbound trip. A few days ago, I purchased the '̈bb Vorteilscard Jugend' effective from January 2025. I'd like to make a reservation for flight NJ 457, departing from Berlin Hbf at 19:21 on January 22 and arriving at Wien Hbf at 7 a.m., but it says 'Ticket not available'. s this train not discounted? I'd like to know why I can't make a reservation. 

I am trying to reserve a seat for a train from Amsterdam to Brugge on Christmas day but the timetable says on trains available. I have a Global Pass. Do trains run on Christmas day between Amsterdam and Brugge?ThanksPeter

HelloHave been able to book Eurostar from London to Bruxelles on 12 April 2025 but Bruxelles-Midi to Amsterdam Centraal is showing nothing for this date.Does that mean the all passholder fares are already sold for that date?Friday 11th or Monday 14th April 2025 are showing as being available.If I can’t book Eurostar & Eurail has nothing for the 12th April (“Sorry, we don’t have train times for those dates yet -”) & Rail Europe is saying “ Unfortunately we can't currently sell tickets for this journey, but the timetable below should give you an idea of trains that are running.” … but they can sell tickets for a week earlier & a week later I’m at a loss as to what I can do (changing dates is NOT an option)Advice on options/alternatives would be greatly appreciated

Hi! Is it hard to find luggage lockers at Geneva train station and Interlaken OST station? I am hearing that they get full and hard to find empty ones. We will be there the first week of August and will have 4 small carryon size pieces to store for the day. Also do they accept credit card or we need to have CHF exact change? Do they take euros?

Considering a Eurail Global Pass for our Europe trip starting in Munich, with stops in Interlaken, Paris, and London! I'll be coordinating travel for the whole family—my husband, daughters, and grandma. Has anyone used the pass for these destinations? Any tips or advice on getting the most out of it?
