It says 7 hrs but wasn’t able to find any trains on the Eurail timetable.What would the best train with shortest time be from Zermatt to Venice using Global Eurail pass without extra charges?Your guidance would be helpful!Thanks in advance,

I am intending to purchase the Berlin to Krakow train on 14/4/24 when it becomes available.What is the procedure for reserving the seat before so as not to miss a seat x2. Being a newcomer to the Eurail Pass system I understand that I need to activate the pass on the day but it is how to go about doing the seat reservation that I am still not clear on. Hello. My teen is traveling solo in Europe and has a Eurail Global pass. Their first day of travel is coming up, and the website says there’s a train leaving Orsieres, Switzerland at 13:44, no seat reservation required.  The SBB website confirms this.  But when my teen looks on the app, they can only see trains leaving one hour before and one hour after.  Help please?Thank you!

I am traveling from Zurich to Zermatt to St. Moritz (via Glacier Express) to Milan to Florence.I’m considering a 4-day Eurail Flex Pass instead of the Swiss Train Pass because of the Italy travel.I plan to take the Glacier Express from Zermatt to St. Moritz (I know I need seat reservations), and prefer not to stay the night in St. Moritz.  I think I can take a combination of bus and train from St. Moritz to Milan and make it to Milan the same night.  I know the Zermatt to Milan trip will be a long day.This is the route Rome2Rio suggests from St. Moritz to MilanMy questions:Can I use the Eurail pass from Zurich to Zermatt? Hi - I’m looking at trains from Vienna Hbf to the airport for 2nd May and the OBB timetable is only showing a couple of options available in the morning. Most of them say ‘Ticket not available’ either with or without the Interrail pass filter on. Does this mean they are all fully booked already? I want to leave from Hbf as I’m staying near there. Hi, We have a Global Eurail pass and will be traveling from Amsterdam to Bruges the day AFTER Kings Day. We expect a lot more “traffic” than usual on the trains that day. The website says “You’re ready to board” without a reservation, but a friend who recently returned from Europe said that they had a few occasions where were turned away on the day due to the train being full, despite the website saying no reservation was required.It is possible, or advised, that we pay for a reservation “just in case”? Or are we being silly?If reservations are recommended, how do I do this under the circumstances.Thank you soooo much in advance.Di Borg

I am looking to buy substantial reservations for my family's train journey's between Rome, Florence, Venice and Milan totalling upto 228 Euro. Will this pass actually cut the reservation cost down to 50%? This is non-cancellable, so I am bit sceptical about buying.  

Can you travel from Venice to Rome on your Eurail Pass?

We have bought 4 interrail passes and would like to travel from Germany via France (Avignon) to Barcelona.For our train from Avignon to Barcelon (AVI INT 9730; 8:40 - 12:38) a seat reservation is required. But I cannot book this via Interrail. Also I have not found any other possibiliy to book this seat reservation. Can anybody help?

Hi first time using a Global Pass. I have not activated pass yet as it is too early for trip but I have made multiple seat reservations for planned trips. Do I need to connect these seat reservations to my Global Pass after activation or do I just bring my printed out seat reservations with me and use both mobile pass and printed seat reservations? We want to make two separate trips on our 15 days-two months pass. The first trip will allow us an outbound and inbound journey from Shrewsbury. My question is - on the second trip I understand  Shrewsbury-St Pancras tickets won’t be included in the pass, but can we book Eurostar again on the pass: i.e. is St Pancras our point of departure for Europe?

Dear all: please help!We bought Interrail Passes First Class, and booked amongst other the following trains:Wednesday 17 April:     07.03 - Basel SBB > Lugano (IC 663)Wednesday 17 April:     11.02 - Lugano > Milano Centrale (RE 25517)Wednesday 24 April:     17.20 - Milano Centrale > Brig (EC 36)Wednesday 24 April:     19.48 - Brig > Basel (IC 986)But we can not buy/book our seat reservations for these 4 tickets.We have tried everything, but it simply does not work. hello,My understanding is 1st class eurail passes translate to standard premier on eurostar. 1st class was available for our trip and we paid the 1st class reservation rate on SNBC, but I see the tickets are in carriage 14 and that is a standard carriage. If anyone has insight on why that is, I would appreciate it. Thanks,Allie

I'd like to book TGV Lyria Paris to Geneva on May 24th, and Basel to Paris on June 2nd but tickets are not available yet. Does anyone know when sales will be open?

Hi, can you tell me if i have a Global Pass digital ticket for travelling , do i have to have an actual printed copy of my seat reservations? Or can you get a digital one to keep on my mobile to show ticket inspectors? I am about to activate my pass soon. thanks

I am trying to book a seat reservation for a train from Zagreb Glavni Kol to Ljubljana on May 16 from 19:40 to 21:47. When I go to the eurail website to book the seat reservation, it says N/A for price and underneath it says "facilities unavailable". I do not know if that means that the train is fully booked, or if it just means that I need to book the seat reservation at the train station in person. Any help is appreciated.

I bought a seniors Eurail pass and now realise I can’t use the pass to book the Eurostar to London from Paris as they don’t have a Seniors fare. What do I do? Do I get a refund on the pass and buy an Adult pass or somehow pay the difference in the fares on the Eurostar. I wish I had known I couldn’t travel in and out of London on the Seniors pass before I bought it!

Our family we want to have pur summer holidays in UK. Leaving from Barcelona (our residence) to London and there travelling by train. Finally returning back to Barcelona.If our holidays are 14 days but not all the days we will travel (eg in London 3 nights without using), which kind of pass should I book? How I can see the map trip (stops, duration,...)? Can I use a sleeping train from Barcelona to London? Just with a Global pass can I do everything?Thank you

Hey guys,We’re taking the train from Charles de Gaulle to Nice and are travelling with our bikes (dismantled in bike boxes from the airport, they’ll fit the required dimensions).  How do I book the bikes on the TGV arm of the journey? Cheers :)
