Hello everyone,First time travelling with interrail this summer.I have a 10 days pass, but I still have book 4 reservation, I need a bit of help 😥😥.I have booked most reservations on the interracial booking website, but still need to book this 4 trips:Wien Hbf - Prague Hlavni Nadrazi on the 7th of August at 7:10 am. Doesn't let me book on interrail site but I have found tickets on Cd.cz for around 15€ per person, which is fine I guess 🤷🏻. Prague Hlavni Nadrazi - Berlin Hbf on the 8th of August at 17:30, or any other time that day, it doesn't let me book on interrail site. If I book on int.bahn.de do I have to pay for full price tickets (50€ per person 💀) or can I flag the option "book seat only" (10€ per person)? Koebenhavn H - Stockholm Central on the 15th of August said tickets available 90 days before departure but now they say that they're unavailable on the interrail site. Stockholm - Oslo on the 17th of August still says to wait 90 days before departure to book on the interr

Dear Friends,We are a family of 3 adult persons looking to travel in early June 2024 from Milan to Venice and then from Venice to Florence & from Florence to Rome. We have a Eurail Global pass.  when I googled for seat reservations. It was stated in the Eurail rail planner app that reset reservations are required. However, when I googled, I received a response that seat reservations are not required.  So, I am a little confused about what needs to be done. Could someone please guide me if seat reservations are mandatory for these routes.  Also I have gotten a monthly pass but I shall end my eurail train usage at Rome. Could you also guide me how to deactivate the pass & request for refund for the unused portion. How long will they take to refund?  Thank you

I will be travelling from Barcelona to Cologne via Lyon and Brussel. I have no problems to make my seat reservations from Lyon to Cologne, but not from Barcelona to Lyon. I have a 5 day/ 1month euro rail pass .What I can see from this group that in Spain seat reservations can only be made at a ticket office. I will be travelling on 11 June and arrive in Barcelona on 9 June. Should 2 days before be enough to get 2 seats on this route, or can a seat reservation be bought before hand by phone, calling renfe?ThanksHorst

Do I need a seat reservation when travelling 1st class Eurail pass on train from Gent to Amsterdam in August 24? If the timetable says no seat reservation is needed, do I risk having to stand if train is full? 

Does anyone happen to know if Alvia trains have catering?I’m looking at A530 Barcelona to San Sebastián/ Donostia. Neither DB, RENFE nor Seat61 mention anything an about a restaurant car. But for a 6.5 hour journey, surely there’s something?!

Can anyone recommend clean, child friendly hostels / air B&b to stay in around Italy that is affordable/ cheap ish ?  thank you

Hi there, I’m travelling (family of 4) from Lille to Marseille (starting in UK), next Saturday 25th May. I wanted to check the seating plan for our TGV and in doing so I’m now having a mild panic.  Our seat reservation for the TGV (from Rail Europe) states it’s the 14.01,  9830, from Lille. Arrives Marseille 18.50. This train also shows in the b-Europe website and the interail planner. So far so good.(Our Eurostar arrives into Lille at 13.26) But when I tried to find a seating plan, I went to the SNCf site and entered the train number and saw that the 9830 is listed as departing at 13.01 and couldn’t see a 14.01??? Is something odd going on that I should be concerned about?Thanks for any help! First pic is from the SNCf site, https://www.sncf-voyageurs.com/ This below, is from B-Europe. And of course I have my rail Europe booking that states it’s 14.01 as well. so it looks like you can actually still get seats on the 14.01 so it must be running right??

I am trying to book tickets from London through to Sweden - still reeling from the fact the reservation fees for a family of 4 are almost as much as the pass itself but I have a couple of questions I was hoping to get help with ... A lot of the time its giving me 9 - 10 minute train switches - is this enough? Thinking not with 2 kids but maybe the trains are more punctual in Europe?A lot of tickets say you can buy a seat reservation if you like but it's not required. Prices for this journey will start to be available 90 days before departure. It says this even though I am booking for within the next 90 days. Should I get the reservation from the national train line?Also struggling to book the Swedish sleeper from Stockholm to Hamburg on Swedish trains website - comes up blank when I search. I have booked a train ticket between Venezia Mestre and Wien on a direct night train. I've printed out the ticket and know the timetable.In the Rail Planner application, this journey is not listed (a train leaves at the same time, but it includes a change and does not arrive at the same time as the one indicated on my ticket).Will this pose a problem in the event of an inspection?How can I ensure that this journey appears in the application and that my pass is taken into account? Hi Friends, I’m trying hard to find seat reservation for ICE/TGV trains from Heidelberg/Mannheim/Karlsruhe  to Paris.But seems for all the train DB website shows error message like “Reservation cannot be made”.Like this :However Raileurope website shows message like Seat reservation has to be made at station.  Can someone please help me guide what could I do ?Does it mean that seats are really full or I have to make seat reservation locally from station in Germany ?I’m going to travel with family and toddler .. so don’t want to take chance.I will buy EUrail pass in case I get seats for at least 2 of my journey.Thank you great people. 

I’ve just purchased seat reservations for a trip from Paris to Strasbourg through RailEurope.  I was really surprised to read “Please print them on plain A4 paper before travel and present on board. Do not print in "economy mode" as this can make barcodes illegible. Please note that the tickets must be printed; they cannot be presented via a laptop or mobile phone screen.”This is not a big deal as I probably would have printed off a copy of the seat reservation anyway, but I have always in the past shown tickets whether they be seat reservations or actual tickets on my phone upon inspection.   I have the RailEurope app and there are perfectly good images of the tickets obtainable through that app.    Is there some reason that I am missing why they insist on having paper copies?Peter

I have two questions. Firstly, do I buy the interrail pass or Eurail pass?Secondly, I am planning to travel between 31st July - 21 August. I am planning to 8 countries spending 2 days in one city in each country, Italy being an exception I will do 3 cities. I want to know if I will need the 22 days pass or I can buy the 15 days pass since some days I will not be travelling. I Love Travel.My Wife and I went Interrailing when we were 25, we only found out about it just before the benefit of being a YOUTH ran out. Hello,I am planning a trip to Europe in September 2024.    I have a 2 month 15 day pass.     I am trying to figure out how to put my 1st travel day in.     ( I know it’s best not to obtain the QR code now).      I’m just want to see the steps I have made a travel day plan and saved it my eurail pass is activated   The train times I need appear   But I do not see how to attach it to my Pass   I do not get to the “toggle switch” to choice the exact trains do I need to practice and choose “a travel day” If so Can I delete this travel day after I practice  my trains do not require a seat reservation   

Hello,  I’ve added a trip to my app and added 5 travellers.  I’ve booked seat reservations but on receiving the ticket via email there is only the one name on the ticket (the first alphabetically) but there are 5 seats listed.  Would this be correct? It’s charged me for 5 seats but should we not receive 5 tickets? Or at least have all 5 travellers listed on the one ticket? Thanks

Hi, I am trying to reserve seats for my 2Y child for the route  18:35 Rome Termini  --->22:59 Venice S. Lucia from https://www.raileurope.com/  . So as per instruction in website I am putting age as 6. At time of selecting seats and payment, website asking for my child date of birth. I am putting actual date of birth. App validating the age entered (6) and age as per date of birth mentioned (2) and showing error - “Passenger's date of birth doesn't match age: <name> will be 2 at time of travel”.Please suggest how can i book. Since its 4.5 hr of journey, i wanted to have seat for my child.DOB is a mandatory field on the form which i cannot skip.  

Hi all - thanks for all your help so far. I have another query for tirano to milan route. I would be reaching tirano around 18.00 on 25th May  by Bernina express. I have to reach Milan central on same day. Could you please suggest train route for same as I am not able to find on app. What can I see is below at 18:48 which has 2 bus changes. Is there no train or app is not showing? TIA
