How do I get from Madrid to Lisbon or Coimbra? There is no option on the website for this route. Doesn't the eurail pass cover it?

Good afternoon, I'm trying to figure out how to book between Lyon and Barcelona, ​​and Barcelona to Madrid. There are two time options. One, the reservation price is very low, but it says that I can only book in person at the station. This is the framing time as 2:32 pm. That's right? Can I only do it in person?

Hubby has UK residence permit but is an American citizen and will be travelling on US passport, would this cause an issue with using interrail in Benelux  

Hello,I am planning to utilize a travel day for BLS Brienz cruise on 27th April. The route would be Interlaken OST to Brienz with a stopover at Iseltwald. I went thru the time table and accordingly planned our journey:*Board the ferry at 10.07 am( Shi 61)*Get down at Iseltwald at around 10.44 am* Explore Isetlwald for approx 2 hrs*Board the next ferry( Shi 65) at around 12.50 to Brienz* Reach brienz at 13.20 and explore the area and then take the train back to Interlaken.However, I am unable enter this whole journey in the railpanner as Isetlwald see is not a option at all. So, my question is whether is this a hop on/ off ferry, where I can take a next ferry to Brienz if I get down at Isetlwald? Since as per the rail planner I am able to enter only Brienz as a destination.Kindly help.Thanks in advance.   

Hi - I am getting this message when trying to book using the app. Does this mean even though I have paid for the interrail pass I have to pay for rail tickets for this and in other similar situations? Prices unavailableNo price results were found. Pass holder reservations may be sold out for this connection, but there are other ways to check for available seats—more info below our timetable.

Aloha from Hawaii - Eurail Community, My husband and I honeymooned in Europe following our wedding in June 2000. We will be married 25 years next June, and plan to return to Europe, now with our teenage children (they will be 13 and 16 next year).The first time around, we visited Paris, Rome and Venice.This time around, Iʻd love to spend more time exploring France via Eurail, and then weʻre doing a Mediterranean Cruise from either Rome or Venice (still researching).May I please ask for your recommendations on what cities our family should consider visiting as we make our way between Paris and Rome and/or Venice? Any itinerary suggestions would be greatly appreciated.Perhaps of note: My husband does have challenges walking great distances, so weʻre really hoping to enjoy the beauty and cuisine of France in a leisurely way, not any vigorous hiking/exploring, if at all possible. :-)Thank you for your kindness and suggestions. I am interested in doing interrailing in Europe this summer for a week or so with my 11 year old son. A possible itinerary I would like- London to Strasbourg (on Eurostar)- Strasbourg to Munich - Munich to Salzburg - Salzburg to Zagreb - Zagreb to Bratislava - Bratislava to Budapest - Budapest to Prague - Prague to Nuremberg- Nuremberg to Brussels .- Brussels to London The cities I most want to see are Munich, Salzburg, Zagreb, Budapest, Prague. Are there any other destinations or routes I should consider to save time or ease of transfers? Is the above itinerary sensible in terms of train times and changes? Are there are any better night train routes to consider. I am open to suggestions. How long should I spend in each location? I was thinking 2 nights in Munich, Salzburg, Budapest and Prague. Any suggestions of things to see and do with an 11 year old. 

The landslide at Maurienne last August which blocked the line between Paris and Milan has forced me to be more creative in my travel plans to Italy.  I am now very much looking forward to my journey through Switzerland this September.  However it would be quite nice if it was to possible take a direct train from Lyon to Milan when I return to Italy at Christmas.  (I am aware of the bus replacement service circumventing the landslide, but that does not appeal!)I keep searching the internet for any information giving a progress report on the work being done to clear the landslide but have not found anything later than statements made around January 2024.   Has anyone found any more current information about how the work is going, or seen any up to date predictions about when the line might reopen at Maurienne?Peter

I will plan my 1st train from Bruxel to Innsburk on 5 May. I have 7 days pass.If I take overnight train to arrive on next day, I used 1day or 2 days which is right?I've tried to book seats many times only to fail and was given attached screen.I am so anxious about failing using Eurail pass.Can l get helped in the train station on the spot?Please help me.Thank you for reading my article written in poor English.

The first time trying to use our Eurail pass wouldn't accept our password. I pushed reset password and am still waiting after 2 days. What should I do.?I have emailed them twice to no avail.

Hello!I am planning to travel from London to Paris and then visit several cities in Italy. Is the Global Pass useful for this type of trip? I wonder if I can use it to travel between different countries and within cities within the same country.Thank you💫

If in a connection with several trains that I have entered in the pass, one of the first trains is delayed and I do not catch the connecting trains, do I have to reschedule or will the missed trains be accepted? Greetings Gerhard

Hi , May I ask if I can use the DB app to buy tickets for the purpose of travelling internationally in Europe. For example, go from Germany to Luxembourg or from Luxembourg to Belgium ? How do I buy tickets using the DB app ? Will I get a e-ticket with a QR code that I can show the inspector ?  Please help as I am new to using the DB app. Thank You. John

Hi. This is all very confusing. Can anyone tell me what the likely cost will be of booking a 2 bed sleeper from Narvik to Stockholm using an Interail pass. On the Interail site it states 50 Euros per person whilst on the Swedish railway site it’s more likely to be around £200. Just need to decide whether it’s more cost effective to do this leg in one hit or take an overnight stop in Boden and Kramfors. We are not travelling until early July so can’t book until at least early April.  Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Does anyone know if there’s a problem with the website right now?I’ve been trying to buy train reservations for the past week but I am not able to press the button "continue to traveler details”, or if I get through to the next page where I put in our birth city’s, I then can’t click past to “proceed with payment.” It just won’t let me click the button to proceed further.I’ve tried everything - Eurail website on: iPhone, laptop on safari, laptop on chrome, cleared cache, tried on my friends phones & laptops, tried different times of the day, tried to book 1 train instead of multiple.. I need to make a reservation for 13 trains for our Europe trip, for late June-July. I filled in my name, address etc. but I can't buy them… we leave in 8 weeks, some of our trains are nearly fully booked out, and I’m stressing out 😔I’ve reached out to the chat bot & to support and I’m waiting to hear back. Is the website down??? I’m trying to book the night train from Hamburg to Stockholm for the end of July but there doesn’t seem to be any available on sj.se  - Does anyone know whether I am too late or too early??On Snälltåget you can only get as far as Malmo and the train leaves very late  - at midnight, which would be hard with 3 kids! 

Hi,I am trying to book a ticket from Luzern to Interlaken on 14th May morning, It says reservation is not required, so if I am not purchasing this seat reservation then,If seat reservations are unnecessary, can I just board a first-class compartment and choose any seat which is free(available)?If yes, how can I identify vacant seats as I travel from one point to another?If no, where can I find seating without having to stand for the duration of the journey, considering that I haven't purchased a seat reservation?  

Hi all, l would like to catch the direct 8:06am train from Berlin to Amsterdam on Saturday 15th June 2024. It’s says l need to buy seat reservations but every time l try it on eurail it comes up with an error. I went into Rail Europe and it says it’s free, and when I checked on  Bahn.db it says no price information is available. I am very confused. Do l need to buy a seat reservation for this train and if so how? Being the busy time we don’t want to miss out on a seat. Any help would be appreciated thank you.

Hello! I’m booking my trip with the Golden Pass Line in Switzerland. I want to go from Brienz to Luzern. But on the website of Golden Pass Line I can only see the route between Montreux and Interlaken. I see on somewhere online that the Zentralbahn between Interlaken and Luzern is one of the Golden Pass Line. However you cannot enter the train in Brienz. I also see an Interlaken-Luzern Express which you can enter in Brienz. Do someone know which one is the correct one?

Hi, I’ve been trying to reserve seats for myself and 4 friends on Deutsche Bahn, from Amsterdam Centraal to Duisburg HBF. Specifically the 20:28 - 23:03 on the 29th July 2024. The interrail website says unable to reserve seats, interrail support suggested booking on the Deutsche Bahn website directly. However when I try to checkout  I get the following error : “Reservation cannot be made”. I can see there are plenty seats still left on the train. I have tried to contact deutsche Bahn via email but have received no response and am unable to connect through phone. Any help appreciated, thanks!

I can't seem to get an overnight reservation thru eurail from rijeka to Frankfurt.  It is there, but when I click it, there is not a place to click for an overnight coach.  Do I have to book in another site?

We arrive by plane at Zurich airport @ 16:35 . I estimated the time to make a reservation to Chur, I chose 17:28 to Zurich HB then 18:38 to Chur. My question is if we arrive earlier can we just take the earlier trains ? Will my e-ticket still be valid ?
