 Trains you want to board with your Eurail Pass  Train visible on the seat reservation page Origin, destination, train number, and arrival time are all the sameOnly departure time is different Is it the same train?Can I proceed with seat reservation?I have a question because the departure times for all other trains are the same. please answer about my question. thank you

I am planning a travel and see on OBB the night train München Hbf › Utrecht Centraal for the 16th of June. Why the same train is not present in the interrail plan your trip portal?Can I be sure the train is possible with the pass even if not present in the interrail portal?Also, how can I be sure a train is included in the pass? Thanks!Alessio

Hi everyone!Tom here from USA.Looking for some advice for a 2-week train itinerary from Istanbul to Berne in April. My wife and I have purchased EUrail passes for the trip. We're looking for a mix of sleeper trains and brief hotel stays in various cities.What are the “must-visit” cities? What is the recommended route? Where are the recommended overnight hotel stays? What are the recommended sleeper trains? Are there any planned track outages we should avoid? Thanks in advance!

We’re trying to book a seat reservation for our trip from amsterdam to morges but we get the message “Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again later or find another connection. This connection will be removed from your cart.” We know it’s not the wifi so we’d like to know what the problem is.

HiI have tried twice today on both safari and chrome to make seat reservations and each time I get just before payment I get an error message starting something went wrong. Is anyone else getting this and any solutions?Is it just a weekend bug?Thanks Mark 

I seem to recall reading about a requirement somewhere to go online every X days when using a Eurail passes.  Is this correct or am I just confused?

Hello,I would like to travel from Oslo to Bergen using a night train then go back towards Oslo while visiting the other train stops between Bergen and Oslo. I would like to do that during August and since it’s to early to book tickets, I would like to know if I need to pay a fee for a sleep cabin for a night train and seats for regular train?thank you 

Hello,  I’d like to buy a pass reservation for a TGV train from Paris to Forbach. Unfortunately, for our train SNCF claims that all seats are booked. Strange to say that for the same train it’s possible to book seats from Paris to Saarbrücken, but not for the shorter trip to Forbach.However, this would change our trip to be an international trip and to consume a home country day of our pass in germany which we don’t have available. Would it work to get a pass reservation to Saarbrücken and use our pass only for the way to Forbach, so no home country day would be used? It’s even bad enough that reservation fee goes up from 10€ to 18€ due to this-

Using Eurail to book Bernina Express (train PE 952) reserved seats apparently costs $15 (USD).  But booking reserves seats on the same train thru the Rhätische Bahn website  www.rhb.ch costs CHF 26 ($28.87 USD).  Is this correct??Will Rhätische Bahn (Bernina Express) honor the Eurail-booked seat reservation?

Hello everyoneI would like to book the night train from Stockholm to Berlin. The travel date is July 12th and I would like to make a reservation now as the European Championships are taking place in Berlin at the same time. However, when I try to do this via the Interrail website, I get the following error message: Prices not availableNo results were found. Reservations for this connection may be sold out for Pass holders. However, there are other ways to find available seats. You can find more information under our timetable.The sj website also says not available when booking. Am I too early with my booking or is there another problem?

This journey is included in the pass, but when I book (seat reservations are compulsory), by clicking on "when and how to book", Interrail suggests that I visit these websites: superfast ferries, anek lines, hellenic seaways.Do you know on which site I can book my journey with the Interrail discount?Also, do you know when bookings will open for this route in August?Thank you

Hello,I'm looking at the routes from Athens to Kiato by train (with the interrail pass).When I add the train in the Rail Planner application, I realise that I can't book the ticket, it only says "no reservation" when I click on "show services".Does this mean that I don't need to book a ticket and simply activate it as a journey on the application?Thanks in advance

Hi,I try to book a seat reservation from Homburg HBF (Saar) to Vienna HBF for the 20 June, but there is no 1st Class seat reservation shown for ICE 563 Homburg-Munich, but 1st and 2nd class reservation on the Munich to Vienna leg.Could it be that the Homburg to Munich ICE has only second Class and no first class, or is first class already booked out. When I go to www.raileurope.com, it only shows no seat reservation required but I am unable to book a seat reservation.Is there a website which shows the trains aND WHAT CLASSES THEY HAVE?Regards,Horst

Hi I am planning to visit Sweden , Germany , Austria , and Italy in August. I was planning on buying a 5 day pass but was confused if the pass is for 5 days of my choosing or if it’s consecutive days?  Also for example if I went to two countries in one day would that be using 1 day or 2 ?

Hello !Tomorrow (23/03) I planned to travel from Copenhagen to Paris. My trip planned was :7h26 Copenhagen -> Schleswig (seat reserved)10h39 Schleswig -> Hamburg (without seat)12h24 Hamburg -> Mannheim (without seat) (train ICE 77)17h38 Mannheim -> Paris (seat reserved)The problem is that, when I look at Deutsche Bahn site the train from Hamburg to Mannheim does not departure at 12h24 but 10h27 (so 2h before I arrive there...).I see that now when we want to reserve a Copenhagen -> Paris in Interrail website for tomorrow they suggest a trip that goes through Koln and not Mannheim, but I don't have a ticket for Hamburg -> Koln and Koln -> Paris. Do you know what I can do? Should I reserve the other trip and hope they will refund me the first trip?

Hi there felow Interrailers, First, this forum is mega-super-overcomplicated,  cannot find a type-in field to ask my question, just conversations…My question: bought a 3-month Global Pass and wanna reserve for the summer an eurostar to London from Bruxelles, but, Rail Europe page sais my Interrail number is not valid. Do I need to activate it  to be able to reserve…?(I still donÍt want to activate it coz don’z know exactly the starting date...) Thank you, cheersDavid

I was travelling last night in EN 40457 from Dresden to bratislava. I was robbed in the train. My bag was pulled off broke the bag zip took off my phone and cash and went off. How is this possible? Like is this so easy in the trains? You don't have any such security maintained? Moreover there was no one in the coach to help me no police no focal person of the coach. Please help me what should I do? 

Just looked at some Hostels and a bed in a 6-8 person dorm costs around 60-80€ per Person and night in most cities. Does anybody has the same experience and how can i save some €? sure prices will never get back to 20€ a night for a Hostel Bed but 80€ is somehow a lot😅
