Hello I am assuming seat reservation not required between Milan and Tirano for global pass holders. Can you please confirm?Thank you

I’ve just been ticket checked on a Railjet between Innsbruck & Kufstein.Sitting in First Class (not Business) with a first class pass.The guard insisted I should have paid a supplement of €15 for any Railjet journey. He said he’d let me off, since it was a short journey.I’m pretty sure he’s wrong, and the supplement only applies in Business Class? Or has something changed recently?

Hi Guys,I like visit Mont St Michel.How should I travel and ensure I have book all tickets for both way? I had check and given the following schedule :Paris Montparnasse 1 Et2 to Villedieu Les Poeles   - this by by train. And seats are able to be book.Transfer by Bus 36871 From Villedieu Les Poeles to Le Mont Michel . My questions is how do i book the bus tickets in advance so that I’m sure of having a seat in the bus? CAn the Europass by use for the bus transfer?  

I am thinking of buying a eurail pass.  It will certainly be cheaper than paying for the journeys I have planned through normal booking methods.  However I will want seat reservations on all my journeys (in France and Italy) and I would not want to proceed with the purchase of a Eurail pass if this was not guaranteed,  I am too early to book seats on the actual journeys planned.  However I thought I would test out the system by seeing if it is possible to book up seats on certain journeys but just stopping short of the paying up stage.  It seems, however, that I cannot test out the reservation system until I have paid for a pass.  And I am not prepared to pay for the pass until I have tested the reservation system.  Catch 22!!   Any suggestions how I might get round this problem? Peter

First time users of a Eurail pass as Seniors on a 10 Day out of 2 month pass with first class seating. I have downloaded the RailPlanner app and added my pass to that> We fly into Frankfurt on the morning of 25th April and intentions to jump a train straight to ParisSo few questions, of probably manyDo I add my wifes pass to her phone or can both be on mine,,just wondering as I will need to book seats and unsure whether to book one on each phone or both on one phoneWe are hoping to get a Train around 8.30am from Frankfurt airport and from what I can see it goes via Mannerheim and then we take the express to Paris> it seems that I have to book seats from Mannerheim into Paris and pay the fee. Hi everyone!I am wanting to book a seat reservation on a Deutsche Bahn Amsterdam to Berlin on June 5th 2024. I want to save some money and do it directly through their wesbite. Orginally, when I searched the site, I was looking at tickets (that also included reservations) and they were available to purchase, but consdering I have a eurrail pass, I want to use that as my ticket and only purchase the seat reservation.I later found that there is a separate seat reservation search engine, to which I put in my details and was met with the following: As you can see, none of the trains are showing any price info or the option to proceed with a seat reservation. Does anyone know why this is the case? Especially when tickets (bundled with a seat reservation) are available for purchase on the same train?Thanks!

Hi, I traveling to Paris to Bruxelles-CentralCheck the website , able to see the schedule of the from Rail Europe website, telling me I can’t the website unable to provide the bookng. Any advice how do I able to book seats via Euro Star?  

I’m trying to travel from Amsterdam to Barcelona on March 13 using my Eurail pass.  So far I plan to use IC trains (without seat reservation) between Amsterdam and Brussels-Midi, then TGV (with seat reservation) between Brussels-Midi and Lyon Part Dieu (with seat reservations).  However, for the last leg, between Lyon and Barcelona, I cannot figure out how to reserve seats ahead of time.  I’ve looked at eurail.com and b-europe.com, and I’ve called Renfe and SNCF.  Renfe tells me that I can only get the seat reservations in person at the train office.  That seems like a bad idea considering our time will be limited.  SNCF told me to call Renfe.  The forums in this community indicate that it’s difficult, but apparently not impossible?  Help!

When a night train has this information (2nd class - IRT 2 classe) it’s because doesnt’t have a place to sleep on the reservation? Thank you!​​​​Another question, when I’m looking for the connections in romenia, it appears this (but it’s not possible to make the reservation) or that “Prices unavailable No price results were found. Pass holder reservations may be sold out for this connection, but there are other ways to check for available seats—more info below our timetable.”, what can I do in order to plan my trip in romenia, any advices? 

Hi all, trying to book my son and his friend tickets from Paris Gare Du Nord to St Pancras and I am being offered an option of the TGV to Lille, as opposed to a route that takes them directly from Paris to London.Is this an option I can select? How tricky is it to change at Lille to catch the Eurostar? Thanks in advance.

Hi To allI am travelling throughout Europe from the 1st to the 21st of July 2024… so my pass ends on the 21st of July when I'm travelling home to Manchester … is this still a valid pass day up to 12 midnight on the 21st ?Also when I buy my pass do I activate it the day before travel …. I have been trying to book a seat reservation with a Eurail pass from Domodossola (Italy) to Basel on the direct Eurocity. This train starts in Milan.Eurail says no seat reservation available Rail Europe says need to book at the stationWe need to get to Basel in tome to catch train to Paris and can do this on regional trains without passes but it means an early start from our base at Lake Maggoire (Verbania-Palanza) plus multiple changes.I see there was a post 2 years ago about not being able to reserve this Eurocity but that may now be resolved?Of course it might just be that there are no seats left as  it is early June we need to book.Any suggestions if a reservation is possible and how to get one? Should we just try at a station once we are in Europe? 

Hi- We are US citizens and will be traveling with 3 kids this summer. The youngest is 6. We will be going from Berlin to Prague on June 28 and then Prague to Munich on July 2. Do we need the 4 day euro rail pass or can I just book each way with a direct ticket? If so, how would I book those tickets? We will take the train from Berlin to Prague but is it easier to fly from Prague to Munich? That train ride seems a little too long for the kids. Is the Prague airport easy to navigate? Any advice appreciated. 

Hello, I will be traveling from Florence, Italy to Paris, then from Paris to Barcelona.  I have 6 days in which to do this and would like to take the train.  I was looking at the Eurail 7 day pass.  Would this be the best option for me and my parents?  Not sure how long a trip from Florence to Paris, then from Paris to Barcelona by trian.  Any information is greatly appreciated. Thank you

Hello, I will be traveling from Florence to Zurich.  Then Zurich to Paris, and finally from Paris to Barcelona the week of May 4, 2024.  Can anyone tell me the best way to purchase tickets on Eurail?  Do I need a global pass?  It seems a bit expensive.

I am a holder of a 1st class global pass. Unfortunately all 1st class seats are fully booked. NowI would like to book a 2nd class seat.On Eurostar trains, the system shows that reservations are available for a 2n class price. But when I click, it shows no seats available. On dates where 1st class is available, I can chose bothI guess, the system shows only options for 1st class. How can I tune that I also can book 2nd class when 1st class is not available on this train.(Yes, I know that I can sit in 2nd class with a first class ticket). I just can’t figure it out in the online reservation tool

HI,This is our itinerary for a family of 3 adults and a child.Aug 11: Geneva-Interlaken Aug 12: Interlaken -ZurichAug 14: Zurich -SalzburgAug 16: Salzburg-VIennaAug 19: Vienna -Prague4 questions:Is a 7 day Eu-rail the right choice or something less is possible? Best option for Jungfraujoch -is that train from Interlaken and is this covered by Eurail pass? Is reservation necessary on any route during this time which is peak summer? Wondering if a rental car is an option on any part of this itinerary for more flexibility. I suspect eurail pass will be less expensive but please suggest. 

Hi,      We are travelling from London to Paris to Ben to Zurich. I think a 7 day EURAIL pass would be sufficient as we are leaving from London to Paris on 8/19/24 and our from there going to Bern and from Bern to Zurich on 8/25/23. Does the Eurail pass work within Paris or Bern or Zurich or can this only be used for travel between these cities ? Is it better to just get a 7 day pass oe buy individual tickets from each of these cities (London to Paris, Paris to Bern and Bern to Zurich) ? Thank you!

I was going to take the train from Oslo to Stockholm on March 23.I had reserved and paid for my hotel in advance for my stay in Stockholm. Everything seemed fine, but when I arrived at the platform, I find out that the train would be 160 minutes delay.Since it was cold, I wanted to wait at the station instead of waiting on the platform. I didn't leave the station for 2 hours. When I went to the platform again 2 hours later, I could not see any information about the Stockholm train.Since it was late, the information desk was closed, so I went to the security guard and asked about the situation.The officer said that a lot of people like me had the same problem and that they did not know what happened to the train.After waiting for about 1 more hour, we learned that the train arrived early and left without any information.This train was the last train to Stockholm for 23 March. So there was no other train I could take and I was stranded in Oslo. Also, since I couldn't go to Stockholm, I c
