I am wanting to book seat reservations for a direct train from Berlin to Warsaw.  Have checked several sites and am not sure I can do this as cross border.Can I book this on Eurail or do I need to use another site and book 2 different seat reservations ie one for each country.Sorry all a little confusing, hoping someone can help me...TIA

Hi everyone !My friend and I are trying to reserve a train sleepers in Germany. We have seen that we are supposed to go on the deustche banh website according to the steps provided in this link: Frais des trains de nuit en Europe | Interrail.eu. However, we didn’t managed to do so. Anyone know how to book train sleepers? Thank you so much for your help ! Olivia 

Are we allowed to use TERs that are showing as Complete on the SNCF app?There are a few screenshots of this on twitter eg journeys like Lyon - Genève (entirely on TER)

I would like to take a train from Edinburgh to London and under "reserve seats" on the Interrail website it says that the seat must be reserved for €6 but must be reserved from an external site. If I go to the LNER or GWR website, I can reserve a seat for free, but not on ACP Rail. What is the right option to securely reserve the seat?

I am trying to book the train from Stockholm to Narvik which leaves around 18:10 pm. we are 4 passengers and would like to book the own second class compartment. However we are getting assigned 1 compartment for the 4 passengers when the second class has only 3 beds ? How to book to compartments instead? If we book first for 2 people and then again for another 2 , how can we be sure to be assigned compartments near to each other ? 

Hello everyone, I am soon gonna be starting my journey, but I have a question about the different time zones.As you can see, I will be starting in Brussels.The second train departures at 12:03 which would be too early for me. But there is the different time zone in the UK so is 11:57 the local time?I am sorry if my questions sounds a bit dump, but I am still exploring the Interrail app and I did not find anything about it on the Internet.Thanks in advance!Anna 

PLEASE HELP….. I have a Eurail pass for everyone in our travel party, and want to book / reserve seats for the Monterosso - Tirano trip on the 1st July.  Most sites keep telling me I cannot use my Eurail Pass but need to purchase tickets. Does anyone know whether I need to do this or whether I can somehow reserve seats with my pass?When I go into seat reservations on the Eurail website, it only offers me trips that take 24hours or more, whereas Italia Rail and Trenatalia etc all let me book a great journey (around six hours), but say I need to buy the tickets and in fact say that a pass cannot be used for that trip.I don’t want to miss out on seats, and so will buy tickets now if I need to - but am keen to know if there is some way I can do this and use our passes.Thank you!

I am trying to make reservations for the pass I just bought. I’m noticing that there’s no direct trains from central Paris (Montparnasse) to central London (Waterloo or close to London Bridge). Will I need to book from Paris Du Nord (default) to London St Pancras (default) instead of the ones I mentioned above and from St Pancras to Brussels Midi instead of Brussels Central and then get a taxi? When I pick the station I actually want, it increases travel time by a lot more than a few minutes it would take to travel between those stations. Not sure what the best option is. thank you.

Hello! I have a US passport but a German residence permit. I would prefer to buy a Eurail ticket over an Interrail ticket, but the terms and conditions have been unclear if that’s allowed, as I am a non-European citizen but a European resident. Could someone clarify the rules for me? Thanks!

Before I can choose which pass I need to buy, I was wondering if the first travel from your home country to the first city and the travel back to your home country counts as traveling days. In other words, if I want to visit 5 cities, do I need the pass for 5 traveling days or the pass for 7 traveling days?

Hi guys! I’m planning to start my route in Rijeka and first travel to Amsterdam which is 23 hours long. I’m wondering does it use more than one travel day off my ticket to travel there? I have to take 3-4 different trains during those 23 hours to get there?

This will sound very stupid but I have not booked any seat reservations yet for my interrail trip I am currently on, and I need to travel from Hamburg to Copenhagen tomorrow, 9th of July.Can anyone help with seat reservations? I keep receiving error messages from the interrail website and the countries train line websites.

I have a 10 day Global Pass and I will be in Switzerland in September There are some trains that are not covered by the Eurail Pass. They do offer discounts on some trips however. My question is If you use your pass to get a discount does that count as a day of your travel days ?  ThanksDenny

So what happend?I’m checking my seat reservations and I have two seat reservations for the 12:26 ICE 314 train from Frankfurt am Main to Brussels Midi (South station) on Saturday 12th of August. From there I have two seat reservations for 15:52 THA 9351 to Rotterdam Central station. I bought the ICE seat reservations at OBB. I’m checking the exact train times and the 12:26 ICE 314 is completely missing from the schedules. So what is the best thing to do? How can I change my seat reservations for both the ICE and the THA ?Any help?Thanks in advance ! 

I have now fixed my Itinerary for Europe as hectic as it goes but this is the best we can do in the space we have seeing all the things we want to see and meeting my son in Rome through to KrakowThe parts not mentioned lon -rome & venice to krakow & Krakow to Munich are flightsWe have set rail journeys we wish to take and here they are below.What i would like to know is apart from Duss to Paris on Thalys and Paris to London on Eurostar ,  do any of these other trips need mandatory reservations on top of the seat cost.I am currently working out if individual train journey tickets for 1 adult and  2 youths 25 and under will cost more than say a 4/6/7 day Eu rail pass. plus any extra like Eurostar reservationThe part i am unsure of is if i get a EU rail pass and apart from the two journeys mentioned above are reservations mandatory if i buy EU rail or not. Hi, I have been trying to book 4 tickets from Paris (Gare de Lyon) to Barcelona-Sants on the 13th of August. Every time I try to checkout to pay, the website tells me that there is an error and that I have to find other options. Is there any other way to book those seats?Does anyone have SNCF email o contact ? (I am not in France and they didn´t answer to the phonecall)Thankss

I’m looking to get around small distances over just a week or so.  Successfully did more than two months last year with a Eurail pass for the two of us, but different mode of travel this time… so all I want is to get from Milan to Verona to St Moritz to Leipzig, to Dresden and back to Leipzig to get the overnight train to Zuirch. *over 7 days* Is it worth getting a rail pass, if I can’t get a seven day pass for the overnighter…  What about the Berlina Express?  Ta

Hi! I’ve been reading some topics about the connections to Belgrade. So, my question is: how can I arrive in Belgrade from any country around? Even if there aren’t train connections.

So I'm using the app on an amazing trip so far and everything on the app works brilliantly except one thing which makes taking screenshots for Instagram or such not work well. It is creating a line on it's own from the last destination I have entered so far back to my start destination. Does anyone know how to stop this?  

I am ready to purchase an Eurail pass and would like to verify if the phone number I enter at the time of purchase matters. I currently have a Canadian phone #, however will be getting an European phone # once I get to Europe. Will I be able to activate the Eurail pass with the European phone # when I get there, or will I have to use my Canadian phone #, which I will use at time of purchase? Thanks in advance!

Hi there, just a quick feedback for the great Rail Planner app since I found it confusing that travel days are shown next to outbound/inbound days used like this:This may lead to people (at least me ;)) thinking that they have 7 travel days and in addition to that also one outbound and one inbound travel day. Of course, this clears up once you’ve added your first ticket, however I was confused at first and thought: yeah, that’s great, I must have missed this on the website that outbound/inbound travel days are on top (which they are not). Possible solutionsMaybe an info button next to the text “outbound/inbound” would do. It could explain what these days mean and that there are a subset of the travel days. Maybe another representation would be better, e.g. some nested layout, but I don’t really have an idea for that and it shouldn’t overcomplicate the layout. Maybe add the text: “… therefore” (of the 7 travel days) All the best,Dominic

Hi! I am planning to go visit the greek islands with a 6 day pass (+ maybe a 4 day pass).Now I have the following question:I know that with the 6 day pass, I have two international days and I know that night connections only count as 1 international day (departure).When I looked up the connection, I realised that the ferry between Ancona and Patras makes a stop in Igoumenitsa.Now: I couldnt find out, if the ferry just stops there or if I have to change the ferry. And more importantly if it still counts as "one trip" (-> Ancona to Patras) or if its a different / seperate trip, because that would mean that I had to use a second international day.Does anyone know that? We are travelling from Brussels to Amsterdam tomorrow Sunday 2nd April. Made decision to take cheap intercity. Looking on planner it's now asking to pay supplement. I think for the airport we don't want obviously! Also train now taking 3h 15m instead of 2h 50m. Can anyone tell me do we have to pay this on board or before hand? Do we have to pay if we are not using airport? We are a family of 6. Thanks
