Hello,I have booked 2 Global interrail 4 day passes for 1 month, but the service provided is not at all what I expected.Indeed, several routes are not available and no alternative is proposed, although they were available in the train search engine on the website before purchasing the pass.No solution for the following routes:- February 13: Copenhagen -> Goteborg (initially present in the search engine for departure at 9:27 am and arrival at 1:20 pm)No possibility either through the website of the train company: www.sj.se- February 15: Oslo -> Bodo (initially present in the search engine for departure 14h02 and arrival 9h05 the next dayAt no time is it mentioned before purchasing the pass that we can not book at all the routes proposed in the search engine.Moreover, all these routes are available on the websites of the companies concerned. How is it not possible to book them on interrail website?Is there a way to book these routes listed on the site but marked "unavailable"?If no

Hi !I would like to book 2 tickets to travel from Copenhague to Oslo on february 13th (with a change at Goteborg).On interrail website it is impossible to book seats, but I found a possibility to book on sj.seHowever there are additional fees while it’s not mentioned on interrail portail (see picture above where it’s mentionned “included”) :  Do you have recommandations for this kind of trips ?Is it better not to book anything or should I pay the extra 1064 SEK (see picture above, I have made a simulation with interrail pass information on sj.se) ?Is there any other way to book seats on those 2 trains without paying extra fees ? Thank you for your help :)

Hi I was thinking of buying an Eurail Global Pass (Youth) to travel around Spain from May-June. May I know if I am allowed to opt for bed/sleeping cabins for overnight trains? Do I have to pay extra on top of the pass that I bought?  How may I go about reserving the bed? Thank you!

HI everyone,I am taking my kids to Europe this summer and am trying to figure out whether to get the 10 day or 15 day pass.  We will be starting in Spain and heading north. We plan to stay in Madrid for 8 days, and I would like to take day trips to some of the nearby smaller towns. I’m wondering, in your experience, whether it would be better to buy the 15 day pass and use those extra days for those day trips or if I should just buy the local fares and stick to the 10 day pass.  Everywhere else we travel, we will be with family or friends so train travel is only needed to get us to those next destinations, not travel in and around the other cities.Thanks so much for your help!

I purchased the Eurail Pass and requested a refund, and in the meantime, I purchased a Eurostar ticket. Can I use Eurostar tickets in this case?

I’ll be visiting 5 cities in March. When planning my trip on the Eurail site, I said that there will be 4 travel days. When selecting the pass, it suggested that I may not have enough travel days planned, and suggested I get a 5 day pass. I’m a little confused...does it not take into account that the city in which you start from does not need to be traveled to? I arrive there on a plane…Or is it suggesting a 5th travel day in case Things Go Wrong?

Hello, Our journey in the app and on our pass was from Amsterdam Centraal to Mainz Hbf. Our first train showed it taking us to Frankfurt where we'd have to transfer for the last leg of our journey. However, we got to Koln Hbf and were told it was the end of the line. There was a group behind us that were also under the impression that we could stay on. They asked the worker and he said we have to get off, we have to listen to the announcements, and yelled at all of us for missing the 3 announcements telling us to get off. He said to go to platform 10. We rushed over there but there was no departing train that matched anything in our app. We looked for trains heading to Frankfurt or Mainz and there was only one and it was not on platform 10. It had already departed by the time we found it. We looked at 3 different information boards and a separate app for train travel and we could not find the original information we had in the rail planner. After much research into mobile paper vs. paper pass, I am leaning towards getting a paper pass just for simplicity’s sake and ease of use. However, I am still confused as to how I would make reservations on train in France for example WITHOUT buying an entire ticket from the native train company in order to get a seat reserved. Is it possible to make a reservation through the eurail.com website WITHOUT a mobile pass even if you own a paper pass?The situation I’m in is I’m from Canada and will be flying to France sometime soon but I dont know how to make a reservation on the TGV trains in advance if I had a paper pass. I assume showing up to the station one day early would make my chance of getting a seat reservation quite slim, but if I can't purchase a reservation in advance (ie on the eurail app or website), I might be in a bit of a pickle. Thanks for any help!

What’s the difference between both passes/the sites that they’re being sold on? One pas from ‘my interrail.co.Uk’ is £189 whereas the other from ‘interail.eu’ is €226/£199. I know it’s only £10 difference but just checking that both would be valid. As I’m from the Uk should I be using the one from interrail eu? 

Hey guys so I have already contacted customer service on the issue and they are taking a while to respond which is a little nerve wracking. If worse comes to worse...will it actually be an issue to have the wrong birthday when it’s time to travel?

I was born in 1995 - which makes me 28 in 2023. Do I still qualify for a youth pass as long as I purchase and use it before my birthday at the end of the year? I.e. if my birthday is on the 11th of December 2023, could I still purchase and use the youth pass for travels starting and ending before the 11th of December? TLDR : Does Eurail consider the year you were born in or the specific date to determine your age?

We're planning an Interrail and we want to visit the cities shown on the map, but we don't know if a 10 travel days in 2 months pass will be ok, or if we need to skip one city. Interrailers, is this pass OK? The thing is, the interrail website recommends the Global Pass (10 travel days within 2 months), but the Rail Planner App seems to tell we need more travel days, as it displays that (+1 day) sign

Hey, I am planning to travel to Croatia soon bit I can’t find any connections to or from Croatia in the interrail app. I was able to plan a trip through Croatia in Dezember in the app but now when I try to search the trip again the app says there are no trains for that route. Does anyone know why there are no connections for Croatia in the interrail app ?

I have read that refunds are different for eurail passes when they are promotional, however, I would like to know if a SALE (ie the winter sale) degrades the standard pass to a promotional pass, and then promotional pass refund rules would apply.

Hi all!I am planning my first ever interrail adventure and i’m torn between the 7days within 1 month or 22days pass. I will be travelling for 3 weeks and am planning to stop in around 6 cities (Lyon, Paris, London, Brussels, Amsterdam and Vienna). Now i am wondering if the global pass is also valid for public transport (busses, metro, tram etc.) within the cities.  If so, i’d prefer the 22days pass. Do you guys have any tips and recommendations? Thanks so much! :)

If I buy a 4 day pass can I use all 4 days in uk 

When I check out for a global pass, the only option it gives me is mobile -- no way to get a paper pass. How do I get a paper pass? I’m in the USA. 

Hi all, simply question (?) that I can’t find the answer to - on a ‘5 day pass in a month’ is it a calendar month or 30 days from the first train. That is, could my first train be on 25 April with the last train on 18 May or would they all have to be in the same calendar month?Thanks,Davide
