Hi all,Trying to book seat reservations for the TGV Lyria from Geneva to Paris on 1 Jan with my Eurail first class pass, but after logging in to my account, it only lets me select second class. However, I see first class as an option on the Eurail website when not logged in. Would appreciate the help in getting a first class seat reservation.

I had my iPhone stolen unfortunately with EURAIL GLOBAL PASS active on it.  I'm on a trip today and I need to activate it on a new device. Somebody help! 😥

Hi i have a question about interrail pass italy, can i use it to travel from karlsruhe hbf germany to rom italy with it ?

I'm sure that the answer to this has already been answered but here goes ;I reserved 2 first class seats on an Avanti West Coast train to London Euston. The seats allocated are not acceptable but the company say they cannot change them and suggest I contact rail staff on the day of travel who may be able to help.My question is this; Is there any way of selecting your seat from a seating plan akin to that on aircraft travel?

First off, I am purchasing a 15-day/2-month Global Pass2 questions…1) If I leave one city (Amsterdam) at 0800hr, arrive at another city (Cologne) at 1045hr. I then stay there to explore for a couple of hours. Then leave Cologne at 1248hr headed to my third city (Berlin) arriving at 1715hr. QUESTION... Because I am taking 2 separate trains on the same day (before midnight), will this be considered one trip (15-1=14) or two days (15-2=13)? 2) I am leaving at 2237 from one city (Berlin) arriving in another city (Lyon) at 0735. During this trip there are 3 changes of trains that AFTER midnight. QUESTION... Will each of the changes AFTER midnight plus the initial day count as all separate day (15-1-1-1-1=11) or Will it only be two separate days (15-1-1=12) or because it is one TRIP (Berlin to Lyon) it will only count as one day (15-1=13)?Thank you very in advance!!

My friend not used all days from this month. Global pass (7 days) But she/he would Like to (move not used days) from October to next month november.Is there option available/possible to move not used days from october to november?Because he/she would like to travel but he/she doesn’t have any time left now in October, end of month is coming and she/he loved interrail so much, but sadly now end of month is coming, she/he doesn’t have any time more left. kind regards and all the best

Hi, Will be visiting Austria end of the year and we will be purchasing the Eurail pass. Would like to know where the first class cabins are located in the train. Are they at the front or end of the trains? If we are to wait at the platform for the train to arrive, how do we tell which part of the platform we should be standing to wait for the train? We are travelling with some senior citizens and we hope we can know where the 1st class cabins are located so that we would not have to run and rush when the train arrives and realising that we are actually waiting at the wrong end of the train. By the way are we able to walk through the train carriages? 

Hello - I have been reading around this topic for a few weeks and have narrowed down my questions from when I started  can’t seem to find my exact issue here! :) I now have our Eurail passes and wanting to lock in my night train from Amsterdam to Munich. I have discovered that the train is with NS International. I presume my next step is make the seat reservation (I am wanting a private 3 bunk/couchette). This is where I get a bit confused.If I go to NS International site I am able to select exactly the type of Couchette I want (private for 3 people with an upgrade fee to allow for that) but the price displayed is full price and there doesn’t seem to be an option to add a Eurail discount?The other issue I came across that was a little confusing is when in NS International site I select my date of 19th April 2023 as departure date, it shows my timetable/ticket as Outbound 20th April - is this correct and it’s just showing me the arrival date in Munich? I have contacted NS International

Hi I would appreciate any help with reserving some seats. I am old school and technology challenged so please in very simple terms 😊 My husband and I have 1st class global eurail passes and will be travelling in November and December. Should we make seat reservations now or just make them for the next leg of our journey when we arrive in the city. The itinerary that we have planned has been made around the times I saw the train schedule on the rail planner but I am now worried we will not get the seats. I have booked the Eurostar tickets so arrive in Paris on the 26/11. So this would be hopefully the plan 28/11 Paris est-lucerne Bahnhof 7.20-12.05.  30/11 lucerne-Pisa 7.39-14.28 and then Pisa-Florence 17.09-18.01.  2/12 Florence-Rome 7.59-9.35.  4/12 Rome termini-Venice  8.35-12.34.  6/12 Venice-Salzburg  9.56-15.48.  8/12 Salzburg-Budapest     7.08-12.19.  9/12 overnight train from Budapest-Prague Hlav  19.05-8.42.  12/12 Prague-Berlin hof  8.45-14.43.  14/12 Berlin-Amsterdam central

I am trying to add a journey to my trip in France (called Nomad train). I dont need a reservation.The app doesn't put the trains that usually travel between the 2 cities I wanna travel. There is no solution to take another train to come home.On the France app Oui sncf, we can still buy tickets between those 2 cities and I ALREADY USED interrail for this same train between the 2 cities 2 months ago.How can I do to add this journey when it doesnt exist in the app?Moderator note: correction to information above; as checked with SNCF you do need a reservation for this train. 

Hey all, I have purchased 2 euarail passes for myself and my partner to travel this coming December and Janurary. I am struggling to get seat reservations for France and would appreciate any help you can provide! I have read pretty much every post in this community but I keep coming to dead ends.  I am trying to book TGV trains from Strasbourg to Brussels and Paris to Bordeuax (return). I have so far tried calling SNCF to book and had no luck, I have also tried booking through b-europe but had no luck for booking these trains (was only able to book my thalys trains this way). For some reason the Rail Planner App only has trains available up until the 10th of December and I cannot book any of the trains I need for my holiday through here.  Does anyone know an alternative way to book? Or when the rail planner app will have the dates available? I am getting worried I will have no way of reaching my destinations due to trains being booked out during the Christmas and New Years periods.  Th

Hi. Im in Paris and can't book a seat reservation via the interrail website to Marseille (22€). I don't wanna spend about 130€ on a normal ticket. What can i do?

Any ideas of how to make a reservation for the Brussels - Marseille TGV on 27 December?Scnf has trains for sale but doesn't do passholder reservations.B-europe doesn't appear able to sell the reservation.The interrail reservation service doesn't have the trains yet for some odd reason.

In Athens to Thessaloniki, eurail states that it needs to reserve seats. Its website cannot reserve. And its how to ask us to book online. Then it's local train web site doesn't have this pass actually. So you MUST go to the train station counter for this. I dont understand how difficult it is to update this piece of important nformation in nowadays information world. It can be very hectic to find it out. So just a tips for the others. 

Hi, Me and my friend are currently traveling with a Interrail Global Pass. Right now we are in Italy, and would really like to go to Greece already in this week. We have tried to look up the train- and busstations in Greece, but it doesn’t seem like the easiest task, to figure out how to get from place to place in Greece. Has any of you tried to travel with Interrail in Greece, and know how to get around? We are really i some desperate need of help! Thanks

We are arriving into Roma Termini but need to get to Roma Trastevere.  It looks like an easy shot with one train but that does not pop up in the app.  Any one know if that train would be included on our Eurail pass or is that a city train that is not included?  

Hi community,What should I fill in the first two fields that I highlight in green in the following image, when I request that reservations be sent to a Hostel.For example, can I put the name of the hostel in the first field and my name in the second field?:First Field: Hostel YYYYSecond Field: My full names and surnames: Iván Fernando Peluha. As a shipping address I would put the Hostel in Spain.This is how it should be processed? I must validate this because if I fill it out wrong I can lose the reservation.   I’ll be waiting for an answer and thank you very much.

I’m travelling mainly within France so I plan to get the Euro Rail Pass 6 days covering a few planned areas. So, my trip starts from Nice Italy to  Paris, Tour, Avignon, Annecy, Geneva fly back to Rome. Questions are :If I bought 6 days but currently only have 5 designated places, I can still include one more day to anywhere around France? I only need to validate the e-ticket on the day I decided right? If I have stated Tour but end up I did not want to go there, can I choose another place? I am travelling from Paris to Loire Valley. I think the nearest city is Tour to Loire Valley. Any idea which city is best as a stopping point to visit Loire Valley. THANK YOU.
