Does anyone know the reservation fee of the Rest Compartment of the Bergensbanen (Oslo to Bergen) or the price for a normal seat reservation form Oslo to Bergen in July (peak season)?On several websites you can only see the reservation fees of the next couple of months, so only off-season. I guess the price will differ quite a lot...Thanks

Italia Notte - reservations for our intended trip are open on trenitalia but not visible on Eurail? How long does it normally take for them to shownup on this site? ( we are looking to book 1 x 2 berth deluxe and 1 x 3 berth deluxe on thr Rome to Palermo 20:31 departure on 6 April 2023. )the special fares on Trenitalia are still more expensive in this case than the pass holder reservations at this point   thank you

Hi there!  Please can you help me...  I need to take a train from Rotterdam to Paris tomorrow, 2 Jan 2022. I have a Eurail global pass but on the app and website it shows that the trains are not able to be booked.  Has this happened to anyone before? I will be going to Rotterdam today and I can go and speak to them at the station (if this is possible - who should I go speak to?)  Or does anyone have any suggestions on how I can do this trip.....  Thank you so much! 

Hi, i’ll be headed for europe this February and as i’m about to purchase my tickets for a Disneyland pass, it seems like the ticket is unavailable for purchase via the Veltra website https://feature.veltra.com/en/promotion/europe/paris/disneyland-paris/. Are there restriction when travelling with a snowboard on the trains? We are taking trains through Central Europe and will be packing our snowboards along with us. Do we need to reserve additional space? Thank you!!Alexis and Hayden :) 

Are there transfers like trains or trams, from Prague city centre (Prague Hlavni Nadrazi) to the airport and does this need to be pre booked? 

I’m planning on adding a stop to Pisa but using alternative transport instead of the interrail pass so it doesn’t use up one of my travel days. I want a one way ticket to Pisa from Florence. I’ve looked into flix bus but the pick up stop is very far away from where I’ll be staying. Are there trains which will take me there instead and do these have to be booked in advance. thanks.   

We are planning a trip to Switzerland in May.  We will be traveling from Paris to Berne.We would like to extend four to five extra days and travel on a couple of the Switzerland Scenic train trips.Can you tell me if we should have a Swiss Rail Pass or if the Eurorail will work as we will use that to get from Paris to Berne?Can you recommend three days of travel on trains, boats, etc that would get us to see the best of Switzerland and start and end up in Berne? We are senior citizens and really do not plan on hiking or doing lots in many cities, just seeing the views and getting off and on for meals and overnight. Thank you.   

I’m on an overnight train from Paris to Vienna and the conductor still hasn’t come around. It’s getting close to midnight and I’m worried when he asks to see my Eurail mobile pass it will not be there as the “travel day” will be over. The last pick up station is just after midnight. Is there anything I should or can do? I have our seat reservations, but what makes me most nervous is that this is the first time I’m adding a journey manually, as it was not in the rail planner app. Has anyone run into this problem before of a conductor not coming around until after midnight?

What’s the best way to get from Naples airport into the city centre (preferably Napoli central). Are there busses/trams that can take you, if so are they easy to find and do you have to pre book? Is this walkable as google maps says this is a 50 min walk.  

Hi All, If I am buying a eurail global pass, every trip that I can found at the rail planner apps is means that I can take the train? For example, I am planning a trip to Amsterdam, can I take Amsterdam Centraal to Zaandijik Zaanse Schans without paying extra cost to visit? Or, London St Pancras to Canterbury West also include in the eurail global pass?

However I have not used the pass yesterday while it is counting as travel day 

Hello. We are looking at buying a 7 days/1 month global pass. The eurostar will be part of our trip. I understand you should book this as early as possible and can do so up to 180 days in advance. If we reserve our seats at the earliest possible time (180 days before travel), will that start our 1 month time limit? Or will the pass start when we actually take our journey on the eurostar itself? Many thanks. 

Hi everyone, I have some quick questions concerning the OBB Nightjet linking Brussels to Vienna.I’m a scout groupe leader and we’re going on a camp next summer (July 2023). We were planning on taking an Interrail pass for the whole groupe because we want to travel all by train. (let me know if any of you already took that train)Our first train would be the Brussels to Vienna nightjet and I can’t find some usefulll information.  First of all, how much does this journey coust with an interrail pass ? I found some people saying it costs only about 30€ and some saying they could’nt get any discount with their pass.   Secondly, I d’ont understand the concept of “private compartment”. It seems like its cheaper to take two private compartments of 3 people than taking a 6bed compartment which seems odd.  Hope anyone can help us for our camp. Have a good day y’all, Basile

Is anyone else going to be affected by next week's rails strikes in the UK?We're travelling home after our time away on Wednesday 4th January,  we booked Eurostar tickets etc in October when strikes were limited and the confirmed date was January 2 & 5th ..…We live in West Wales and the train strikes are now from January 2nd to the 7th ! I'm absolutely beside myself,  getting home is going to now cost us an absolute fortune,  by national express or taxi from london !

However I am wondering if there is any barrier to enter the platform? And if yes, I don't think there is any QR code scanner on the barrier (i might be wrong). Hello,If I have a pass for 1 month and my mother a pass for 2 months, bought in May, when must we finish our travels by? I understand we have to activate within 11 months (so April 2023), but if we begin our travels in April could my Mum continue travelling into May and past the 11 months? Or must we finish our travel within 12 months of buying the pass?Thank you, Emma

Hi we’re first time interailers looking for some advise and help! Me and my friend plan on travelling from March-May visiting Sorrento-Rome-Florence-Venice-Vienna-Budapest- Ljubljana-Zagreb- split. If anyone can help answer the questions below it would be super helpful.   When travelling from Slovenia to Zagreb(Croatia) as it’s not in the Schengen area will we experience any issues?  Is it best to book reservations on the actual train website rather than the interail website? We plan on travelling on an overnight train from Venice to Vienna does that class as two seperate travel days? When is best to active our pass and add our travel days
