We are returning to Edinburgh from Cologne on 27 July a strike day. We can get to London as Eurostar say they are running but too late for our connection which is after LNER have ended their service for the day due to the strike. Can we use our pass the next day? 

Thalys has sent me an email this morning saying that my train from Bruxelles to Paris has been cancelled due to rolling stock problems. The company website says that all trains from Bruxelles to Paris are cancelled from 01/08 to 07/08, so I can’t rebook a train on the same day and I have to ask for a refund. Thalys says that I have to contact my initial point of sale, that is Eurail.com. How can I obtain a refund?

Hi!I will be traveling around Europe with a 15 day consecutive Eurail pass. My mum will be joining me for only 2 train rides, is there any way to book our reservations/seat together?Thanks :)

Hello,I could really use your help!I am leaving tomorrow to fly to Europe. I have been trying to Connect my pass to a trip but I can’t. I have a mobile pass, but when I try to connect a pass, it’s asking for my paper pass info. I don’t have a paper pass.(I purchased the pass that is good for 4 trips in a month.) I am trying to book 29 July, at 9am Edinburgh to Paris, among other trips. But they won’t connect.  I was able to book and connect my mobile pass for the first trip I booked. But none since.  What do I do to get it to connect to my mobile pass and not have it ask for the printed pass?I have reinstalled the app and tried it on different devices.  Thank you in advance!!!

I am trying to book a reservation for the TGV from Paris to Barcelona on the 15th (September). Now I’ve read about the issues with Spanish rail companies and having to book tickets locally, at the train station and I’ve been trying to perhaps book via SNFC or RENFE online, but how do i make sure I don’t end up paying the full price? Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm assuming these tickets are still covered by the Global Pass. Could anybody help me out with possibilities to still book my ticket in advance? I’ve seen several numbers I'm able to call but, again, I'm not sure how to get the ‘discount’ of the Global Pass. This is my first time traveling by train and I would appreciate the help tons, thanks!

I wrote my driver’s license number on the passport number. But, It was changed to Sent in the Order overview. So, I’m worried that the wrong driver’s license number will be printed on the Eurail pass ticket.Do i fill in the passport number on the Eurail Pass ticket by myself? The passport number will not be printed and sent, right? If so, I can’t use the Eurail pass because my license number is entered instead of the passport number. 

Hi travellers!As mentioned in the title yesterday I booked my seat reservations and received the email confirmation with all my tickets. But today these reservations still don’t appear here on my profile in the interail website. Is it everything ok or you think I might have some problems? Tickets seem fine to me and I received all of them without any problems. Hello! I have made a trip on my account and added a friend as a traveler while making all my reservations and travel days. Do I need to connect their pass to it? Their pass had been activated and I have shared my trip to their account but they won’t connect. Should I not have activated their pass?

I missed my trip because of a track change 2 minutes before departure, which even wasn't announced in English. Now if I book a ticket for the next train it will cost 22 euros more. Can I get compensation for it? 

Hello!I need to buy a train ticket from Firenze to Basel. On the railplanner it says there is a trip from Firenze SMN to Milano Centrale, then Milano Centrale to Arth-Goldau, then Arth Goldau to Basel SBB. I can buy a train tickets for all these section except the Milano Centrale - Arth Goldau, for which the website says “Tickets unavailable”. It is an “EC” Eurocity train. Why can’t I buy it on this website? Can I only go through the rail planner app to buy the ticket for this section of the trip? Also, I’m not too familliar with the train system in Italy, are the trains usually on time? Are there often train problem?How much time do you think is needed to switch trains at Milano Centrale? Thanks so much!

Hello,When I would like to use a 25% discount (for Piz Gloria for example), as a holder of the Interrail pass, is it required to go on this excursion on one of my travel days? Or may this excursion be planned on an no-travel day as well (still receiving the discount)? Hello everyone, I’m planning a family trip next year (2 adults, 2 children). We’re leaving from Manchester and hoping to get around Poland/Czech Rep/ Austria and back in 9-11 days. Does anyone have any advice on how close to Poland / Prague I can get on my first travel day? Has anyone done a similar trip? I’d like to take at least one sleeper train - can anyone recommend / advise on a sleeper train for any part of that journey? Looking forward to any input. Thanks all.

Hey there,I am from Germany, have an Internal global pass and ran out of outbound journeys.Nevertheless, I want to go from Munich to Vienna by night train, but I can't buy a separate ticket from Munich to Salzburg from ÖBB - it says „Ticket nicht verfügbar“.Is there any way to use my Interrail pass on the Salzburg-Vienna portion? I’d prefer not to take another train to Salzburg and change there…Thanks,Felix

Hello,Last week i started my interrail trip from Vienna - city of residence - to Stuttgart. I was using one of my inbounds/outbounds and everything was fine so far. Today I tried to book my trains to France and realized that the country of residence, mentioned on my pass is Germany - maybe cause I have German id, but just living here for summer -. Is there any chance to change the county of residence after already activating the pass? Would be really helpful cause I planned Germany as the spot where I will start all my travels.thanks

As requested by eurail.com, I supplied my accomodation address when buying seat reservations for 6 of us to ride from Paris to Barcelona on 1/10/22.   The accomodation office wasn’t open when they delivered the mail so now it’s sitting back at the post office (the accomodation told me they missed it)   I’m still in Australia so obviously can’t collect.  Will it sit there safely until I arrive in Paris on 29th September?  That will mean it’s there for over one month.   Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello, is it possible to use the first class seat reservations sold to me by SNCF over the phone but I have a 2nd class global pass? Their weren’t anymore seat reservations other than 1sr class and desperately needed this train for this day. We are using these seat reservations for the train from Paris to Barcelona and is a TGV train. Hi,I am Sher. I have an Indonesian passport but currently I am on my student exchange to Sweden. Due to this reason, I also hold a temporary residence permit for Sweden (August 2022 to January 2023). Would you recommend me to buy an interrail pas or must i buy eurail pass? Other than that, I would tentatively visit 7 cities within 1 month (Paris → Berlin → Bern → Liechtenstein → Salzburg → Vienna → Budapest). Ideally, I would buy the 7 travel days. However, I realised that Liechtenstein is not part of the eurail. Hence, would you recommend me buying the 5 travel days plan? Thank you

Ik heb de toeslag van € 30,- gekocht en ging er vanuit dat ik het Nederlandse deel van het traject zou kunnen dekken met mijn Weekend Vrij, maar ik begin nu te twijfelen. De inbegrepen outbound heb ik dan al gebruikt (wil ik morgen, 2-9, gaan gebruiken).Gaat dat goed?

Hi All!I'll be visiting the UK and would like to purchase tickets for a one day trip to Paris and back.  However, when looking up information,  I'm a bit confused as to what to pay?  Would like to do 1st class seats there, but I am reading that I also have to purchase a reservation.   Can someone please guide me to a good website on purchasing tickets and what excited is needed?  Also, do I need a global pass for this one day trip?

Hi fellow Interrailers, has anybody managed to get a delay compensation from Eurail?I have tried to submit my delay compensation request multiple times using different browsers/devices but have never managed to get any confirmation message once I submitted my request (neither on the webpage itself nor by email) nor have I heard back from Eurail by email ever since.Now, I am wondering whether the online compensation form actually works and how I can get in touch with them. Anyone in a similar situation? According to their policies, I understand such compensations should be processed in 10 days. Thanks.
