Hi Friends!  So… I just discovered Lapland :O Has anyone traveled up to Finnish Lapland for the Northern Lights before? I was in Copenhagen (thanks to the amazing humans on this forum… i made all 17 hours of my connections from Titisee last week!) I’m currently traveling from Hamburg to Prague right now after deciding I didn’t have the appropriate clothing for Lapland (and not enough luggage to store a new winter outfit)… but I can’t get Lapland out of my mind! I keep telling myself it’s October and I don’t need full-on snow coat and boots… am I being delusional? :P Putting feelers out there to see if anyone has done this… or can recommend it. I fly back home to Seattle on October 24 and considering overhauling my entire rest of my itinerary if I can make Lapland happen…. I know there’s a Santa Clause Night Express but I’m hoping to get a little further up North than that. It looks like Lapland is rainy but I’ve been seeing posts about the auroras showing up anyway! Would love any word

Hello.I have just got Interrail passes for all the family to get to the UK at Christmas.  I want to book the Eurostar now, as I am worried that the limited tickets will disappear.  But I need a pass number.  I believe the pass number is shown on the paper passes, but not on the e-passes?  Which seems a bit silly!  I have sent a message asking eurail to confirm my pass numbers.  Today is Saturday.  When do you think they will respond?  Do you think I will have an answer by Monday??  Otherwise I may phone the 30 cents a minute B-europe booking line….Thank You!

Good day to you all.I’m preparing to take a morning train from Berlin Hof to Celle, Germany. Let’s say between 7 AM and 9 AM. This would be in late October. I see ICE (InterCity Express) train leaving Berlin Hof. I take it this a high-speed or bullet train. I have the Mobile Global Pass. On Eurail.com, it says seat reservation is not required. I see 1st class seat is 8 Euros. 2nd class seat is also 8 Euros. Is there a need to buy a seat reservation? Or, it’s not expected to be busy at this time?I understand I can check how busy the train is on the bahn.com site but I’m having trouble finding where precisely it lists how busy the train is. I will be carrying hand-luggage with me, as well. I was hoping to store it in a luggage locker at the Celle station. Are there any luggage lockers at the Celle station which can store hand-luggage? Maybe this question should be moved to a new topic.Thank you for any help!

Railplanner app suggests going via Vidin, but there is only 27 min transfer time. Based on limited experience on Bulgarian Rail, this is too short a time for a 4hr plus journey. Has anyone any experience of this route connection？ Any alternative suggestions？thx

Hi all, I want to order multiple Interrail passes at the same time for different people who will not be travelling together. If I order them all at the same time, will the Interrail passes arrive separated / in separated envelops? Thank you Leen 

Yesterday I bought mobile Interrail passes for myself and my wife and went off straight away to the SNCB site https://www.b-europe.com/EN/Booking/Pass#TravelWish to successfully buy Eurostar reservations London - Paris which were fast selling out for December 17th!I am now looking at going to https://travel.b-europe.com/Eurail-GE/en/booking-tgv#TravelWish to secure onward TGV reservations.I bought the reservations even though the SNCB site said something like ‘paper pass only’ but I had ONE generated pass cover number which I used against the purchase of both my wife and my own passes.I have now read at How do I book my seat reservations? | Interrail.eu “Paper Pass only - Via SNCB: domestic and international trains (Thalys and Eurostar)” and I am getting a little concerned because I think to myself “How could Interrail and SNCB sites both not be updated to reflect what was in my head about the status quo regarding using SNCB for mobile passes?”So questions arise:Are the Eurostar reserv

When I bought two mobile pass for us, we decide to entered our Passport number. We started the journey now but we took our personal ID Cards with us and not the passports. That means we travel now with wrong Passport Number in our mobile passes, one of the Danish Ttail member told us that and explained to us, that its not alloweded. We tried to fix it on the app, but the mobile app will not let me edit this to the correct passport number.We wrote to the Interrail Support yesterday but no conformation mail or something else is happend, what can i do further on? Is it possible to go further on with the trains if the number isnt correct or we get some issue with the train companies? We have our ID Cards but not the passport.  

Does my Interrail global pass work for regional trains in the UK? There is a November 3 sleeper train leaving from Zurich to Vienna at 21:40 and arriving at 6:34 that looks to be completely sold out. Cannot even reserve a seat, let alone a sleeper, which is what I wanted.Is there a waiting queue for those who want a seat or sleeper reservation such that if a person possibly cancels a seat or sleeper reservation, I can come in as an alternate, akin to an alternate Olympian or a player coming off the bench? Or, this is basically a dead-end. Once it’s sold out, it’s done and just move on?I tried OBB, SBB, DB, etc. Nothing. I tried checking to see if I can a seat or sleeper reservation leaving from Vaduz, Lichtenstein to Vienna and that was sold out, too. It might be the same exact train and Vaduz is one stop along the path. I could be wrong.---In the meantime, I’m going to reserve 14:40 and 16:40 seat reservations from Zurich to Vienna. 15 Euro business class seats for a total of 30 Euros. Hi, looking up reservations on the Thalys on the EURail site and saw that reservations were required but no sign that reservations weren’t available for passholders. I bought my family EU passes because we are taking the train for several days, and then went back to make the reservation, and it’s no longer available because they have allocated all their seats to passholders. If I had known I couldn’t get a reservation with the pass I would not have bought it! What can I do besides just request refund?I feel like this is a flaw on their reservations page-- if a reservation is not available for pass holders, they should list it on their route itineraries, even if a pass is not yet added to the account!  

I am planning to travel this from Domodossola to Locarno this week, with a Eurail first class.I know I can book a seat on the website. I looked and many trains for the day I want have none or just 1 or 2 seats available. The seat map show a mix of “reserved” and “not available.”Does anyone know if all seats are reserved? Or are only some reserved, so its still likely there will be free seats even if you can’t  / don’t reserve in advance?Thanks!

I am trying to plan my trip starting at December 22, but every platform, both the interrail site and app, give the notification that they dont have the train times for these dates yet. The times of the Thalys for example are already on their website but they are still missing on the Interrailwebsite. Does anyone know when these will be published? Or if you can just plan them with websites of the local trainsystem? Thanks!

Is there anyway you can use this pass for the speed train from uk to Paris and back and also use it to visit other countries in Europe 

Does anyone know if this service will operate please?Nightjet Berlin to Budapest 12/123/22 - services stop on 10 December and cannot buy tickets online after this date.  Is anyone aware of any updates about this service and the 2023 timetable of obb/mag?Thank you.

Hi all: I am catching this train tomorrow. I have seat reservation for number 2365. As you can see  in Strasbourgh I have a short transfer ( 10 minutes). My question is if I miss that train at 11:21 from strasbourg to Basel, am I able to add journey in rail planner for another train scheduled for the same day. I have global euro rail pass 7 days in a month. Secondly are there passport control on either Paris east station or Strasbourg? Shall I be at  station in Paris two hours before departure or if passport control is in strasbourg  

Hello, tomorrow I want to travel from Marseille St Charles to Madrid-Puerta De Atocha with Train RSC 9731.Because it was planned at short notice I went to the ticket office at the train station in Marseille. Unfortunately, it was not possible for me to reserve a seat for the train tomorrow. I could only buy a ticket with a seat but since I already have the Interrail ticket I only need a seat. Unfortunately, there is no way to book the seat reservation online or via the app. What am I doing wrong? What option do I have now? Best regards, Max

Hi, I want some information that relates to choosing my pass. Are regional trains, such as Naples to Rome or Brussels to Bruges, counted as travel days with the pass, and are regional trains free with the pass? Also, if so, is any other public transport included with the pass?Thanks in advance for any help

I live in Colombia, and I want to buy printed eurail pass (not Mobile), but its arriving date here is 25/11/2022 in Standard option, and I travel to Europe (Madrid Spain) on 14/11/2022.  The premium option doesn't apear.  I don't know what to do

Hello,I am trying to find a way to travel from Athens to Vienna during the Christmas season along with 3 kids (9,11,13). I don’t understand how the Interail planning system works. I am already stated in Athens what is my first destination, Athens or Vienna? I need to add travel days but I don’t know how much time each trip will take, I need to find this myself? Furthermore even though Greece is included in the pass Hellenic trains say on their site that trips to Sofia are not currently made. If I have a pass do I need to just find trips with seats to book on the days I need to travel? How will I book on the different train company sites without paying them? 

Hello, I am wondering why multiple routes leaving from Geneva are no longer showing up on the app or the website despite the routes still running (e.g. Geneva-Lyon mid-morning departures 9:30, 11:30, 12:25; all Geneva-Paris direct trains). I was able to see them a few weeks ago for the same dates in late October. How should we get seat reservations if the routes don’t show up on the timetable anymore? I also tried to look for seat reservations on travel.b-europe but Geneva is no longer an option.

I bought global mobile pass.And I know ‘avignon-Barcelona’ and ‘Barcelona-Paris’ need seat reservation, but the seat reservation tickets only deliver by post and I can’t receive the tickets.So i wondered if I go to the station to book those sections in person in mid-August, will there be enough seats? (Both ‘Avignon-Barcelona’ and ‘Barcelona-Paris’)
