Hi everybody,I am planning my first Interrail trip for June. I will be traveling with my 10 year old daughter. I planned to start the trip by flying to Thessaloniki and then continuing the journey along the route Skopje–Belgrade–Budapest–Krakow–Warsaw. However, after doing some research, it seems that Greece, Macedonia, and Serbia might not be the best options due to the lack of train connections. I have tried to find routes from various sources but with little success. Do you have any good tips for this route, or should I completely rethink my travel plan? 🤔

Hi everyone, in early March, I be travelling with my daughters with intended trip to start at Paris (2 nights), then Interlaken (1 night), then Rome (3 nights), then Florence (2 nights), then Nice (2 nights), then back to Paris (3 nights). Any advice or view if I should get all separate trip tickets or puchase a 5 days Eurail pass. I would like to check how much individual train ticket price costs and adds up before deciding on a Eurail pass. But how do i check at the app for individual trip price? Please advice. Thanks !

Hello everyone!I am trying to book seats for the middle of july as they are compulsory but they say there are no seats available, the carrier company is SNCF and the selling starts 150 days from the departure, it is possible that all the eurail pass holders are already sold? Hello, I’ve plan the itinary I want to do, and now I would like to book the tickets. But I don’t understand how the platform works. For example, when I look at the maps, they say that Bari and Brindisi are linked by a train, but when I go to book a trip and the train available, it always says that it is not available.  What should I do ? Hello everyone!I would like to ask everyone about buying the first class ticket with the second class pass.I have the second class Eurail pass and purchased the first class ticket of TGV with the pass via SNCB. I wonder if it is okay by regulations of TGV to buy the first class ticket with the second class pass.Of course, I paid more fare with my second pass (about 60 €) than with the first class pass (about 20 €). Thank you!

Hi,I live in Vienna, and on all the Interrail passes that I have had, I have got 3 inbound/outbound journeys and not 2. As I use Interrail passes regularly to go to Paris, this is quite convenient, because by buying 2 youth months-long global passes during sales, 2 back and forth journeys cost about 200€ including reservations, which is as much expensive or even cheaper than day trains. I just need to buy the ticket from Vienna to Freilassing or to Salzburg for one trip, which is 30€ with a Bahncard 50. For 4-days passes, this is also quite convenient, as 3 out of 4 days can be used in Austria.I wonder: how is the number of allowed days of trips inside the country of residence determined ? So far, I have only seen 3 days inbound/outbound. I have understood that it depends on the time it can take to go to the border, but I am not sure that any trip in Austria must really take more than 1 day, even if 6 hours domestic train rides exist. Are there any country which get only 2 days ? Switz

Hi, I am Stan trying to go via train from Annecy to Geneva. Are there any direct trains in July? My current searches have some trains but they go via a lot of stations and take a very long time for a short 2 hr journey from Annecy to Geneva

Why do I need a Eurail pass to only travel from Southampton, England to London, England and back to Southampton? Can I just purchase train tickets without a Eurail pass? 

Hi eveyone! This is the first time I have used an Interrail pass. I’m much looking forward to it!I have a Global Pass.  I want to reserve a seat for a journey from Vienna to Brussels. I know the train/s on which I want to travel. I have found the section of the ÖBB website where I can reserve the seats. The Interrail instructions tell me to “go to the ÖBB website or use their app, select your travel details, choose "Interrail/Eurail" as your pass type, and then select the desired train and seat reservation option to add it to your booking”. I have completed the first two of these steps but I cannot find where to choose ‘Interrail/Eurail’. I have scrolled down the page and scoured the website. I can’t find anywhere to chose m Pass Type. Can you please help?

I want to make sure that my planned itinerary makes sense, and that the Global Pass I purchased includes trains that get me to each country from the previous. Here is my planned trip:Start in England. Next stop Paris. (I have purchased the ticket for this separately.)Next stop Amsterdam, NetherlandsNext stop Helsinki, Finland (I was told that Helsinki is NOT a stop on Eurail. Is this true? Is it a special destination?)Final stop Stockholm Sweden.Is this the best order? Are trains available between stops? Anything else I need to know? This is my first, and probably my last trip to Europe. It will take place in May - early June, and Sweden is probably the last stop (or if a better order makes sense that put Sweden either first or in the middle, I’d like to know). Let me know if I can supply any additional information. Hi, we’re travelling to Europe in June/July this year. Trying to book a trip from Interlaken, Switzerland to Florence, Italy in early July 2025 but only 1 option coming up which is a 18hr journey. Is it still too early to be booking this trip and can I assume there will be more options available to us in a couple of months when it’s a bit closer to the travel date?Thanks. :)

Hi all, it's my first post. I'm travelling the beginning of July, a Saturday.  Flying into Zurich Switzerland and getting the train from the airport to Interlaken. I'll have an interrail card. My question is do I need to book the train beforehand or wait till I arrive. I do realise I can make as many bookings on that day. I'm just thinking if I'm delayed I'll have to make a second booking. Suppose I'm trying to gauge how busy trains are on Saturdays. Also I think the women's Soccer World Cup is on there too. 

l have purchased my global pass and then created my trip , l have attached my trip to my pass and l have made reservations and paid for them where required . For the journeys that have 3 train changes within the journey and l have to reserve seats on 2 of the legs but not required on the other 2 , how does the ticketing work ? l now only have a ticket for 2 legs of that day journey . As l have attached the trip to my pass does that suffice ? 

hi everyone..thank you in advance for your insights..we will be traveling around Europe in April-May. We are planning on catching a train from Milan to Tirano and from Tirano, italy take the Bernina Express...And get off in St Moritz and catch a train until we arrive in Lucerne, Switzerland.

Hello traveling from Barcelona to Carcassonne. Narbonne to Carcassonne required a reservation and I purchased it. Cant figure out how to reserve first part of trip. There is no “add to trip” icon 

I’m looking to plan a 3 week-ish trip in September with my 4 year old. It won’t all be solo, but some of it will be. Have not bought a pass and have no restrictions on that at the moment. Looking to plan the best route that works for us and then see what pass suits our needs. First of all, I’m looking for specific advice on travelling alone with a young child.Are there any top tips? What I might not have thought about?  Are there any destinations that just worked really well for your kid - not focused on child activities - she’s an incredibly easy going traveller, eats everything, loves a city vibe and is happy with an occasional a playpark, so any suggestions will do!Second of all, route advice with a child this age.We need to plan a return route from Glasgow for three weeks, ideally no fly but not against taking a flight one direction for ease and to maximise the adventure given our distance from the Eurostar.  The only must stop is Munich, at the request of my daughter. How can I use my Eurail pass to avail 25% discount on cable car ticket of mount titlis. On Titlis ticketing website, it’s said that Eurail pass holders can avail 25% discount and I find no field to apply such discount.

Anyone know if I get 4 inbound/outbound days in a 5 days or a 7 days adult global pass as a swede? (I for instance got 4 inbound/outbound days in a recent 7 days adult global pass).I am asking this since I am considering staying a few days in the south of Sweden (Scania) before continuing my itinerary towards France and then finally I go home again to Stockholm, Sweden. And I also thought about doing the same on the journey back, i.e. staying in the south of Sweden (Scania) for one or two nights before using my final travel day to travel home (from Malmö to Stockholm). I might have to use 3-4 days of travel inside of Sweden to make this work. Would this be equivalent to "misusing the pass" (which I saw someone writing in a discussion about these pilots with 4 outbound/inbound trips)?
