I am having no luck booking seats.We are travelling to 5 different countries and I am trying to pre plan.I have my pass in the system and my trips planned.I checked and it shows that seats can be booked 150 days before the trip(from Barcelona-Sants to Paris.The trip is in May and it will not let me book seats I trying to be proactive as it says limited seats for pass holders and this train sells outJust looking for a little guidance from this amazing community.Much thanks from this confused Canadian.

My journey is split in 2 days although it is same day. I’m going from Avignon to Paris and directly Paris to London.

I don’t really understand how travel days work and which trains I can take. For example if I take a night train anywhere before midnight from the country I’m departing I’m still under 1 travel day?. Also how would I know what trains to take when departing? (Cause I’m trying to start the destination from gothenburg to berlin but unaware how to actually start it) Any tips?

Hello, I would like to do a trip with the following destinations.Home (inside Germany) Hamburg Stockholm AbiskoMy plan would be to travel to Hamburg and from there to use the nighttrain to Stockholm on the same day. In the next stage I would travel from Stockholm to Abisko using another nighttrain. My problem is that I find the rules regarding the travel inside the home country quite confusing.The frequently asked questions states that you are allow to take 2 rides, one to leave and one to return to the home county. Meanwhile here on the community discussions I hear a lot of people talk about 2 travel days. So am I allowed to take multiple trains from my local train station to leave the country? I have a Eurail Pass and plan to use it in Germany.When I search for trains in the Eurail Planner app and the DB Navigator app, I notice that the timetables don’t match.The train I plan to catch shows “+1 day” in the Eurail Planner app, even though it’s during daytime hours. However, this does not appear in the DB Navigator app.If I take this train showing “+1 day,” can I still add the journey to my pass and show it properly?Please refer to the attached screenshot of my app.

I was recommended by another option like  www.b-europe.com to reserve my seat. So… I have a question. Hi All, I’m planning a family trip to Switzerland and was hoping to experience the Bernina Express. However, after checking the SBB website for reservations, I found that while tickets are available, there’s no reservation option for the Bernina Express since it is sold out. Furthermore, it’s unavailable on my planned date (and for the entire week, since there is only one Bernina Express train departing at 10:06 am). Since I can’t change my travel dates, I learned from a forum that it’s still possible to take a regular train ride from Tirano to St. Moritz. We’ll be staying in Lugano and plan to take the train from Lugano to Tirano, then return to Lucerne after the Tirano to St. Moritz journey.Could you recommend the best trains for these 3 segments?Which morning train would you suggest from Lugano to Tirano between 6:30 am and 8:00 am?   Which specific regular train should we book for the Tirano to St. Moritz leg? Hello, I am planning the first interrail trip and will take these trains. Everything within 2 weeks period. Day 1: Sweden ,Malmo (residence country) -  Berlin (Night train leaves around 11pm, arrives around 9:30am)Day 5: Berlin - Brussels - Night train (leaves around 10pm , arrives around 9:30 am)Day 8: Brussels - London - Cambridge Day 10: Cambridge - Edinburgh I calculated 4 travelling days because of the night train rule, but I’d like to hear your confirmation before to get the pass. Going from Salzburg to Innsbruck will pass through Germany. Can I use the Eurail Austria Pass?

Hi,I bought the flexible-pass 4 days within a months for me and my girlfriend. And I have a question about validity of the pass. Could you clarify if the "month" refers to: 1. A period of approximately 30 days starting from the first day the pass is used (meaning I can use the 4 travel days within the following 30 days after activation).2. A specific calendar month, where I can only use the 4 travel days within that same month.For example, if I start using the pass on December 20, does that mean I can only use the remaining travel days within December, or does it count as a 30-day period starting from December 20 (in this example until January 20)? I’d greatly appreciate it if someone could clarify how this works. Hi my dear fellow interrailers,I might have a kind of basic question, but as many others I don’t find my exact answer in the forum, so I’ll ask here: Last summer I bought a global flexi pass (5 days wihtin 1 month) and it says Activate by june 18th 2025. So that means I have to travel until the july 18th 2025, right? Because my plans have changed several times and I can’t travel until end of july.If that’s not possible with my current pass, can I exchange it, or do I have to cancel it and buy a new one?Thanks so much for your time! Hello, my husband and I will be traveling from Munich to Paris, and when trying to make a seat reservation through the rail planner app it guides me to make a seat reservation via the the SNCB website https://travel.b-europe.com/eurail-ge/en/booking#TravelWish, once I fill all the information in it asks for my pass cover number, I can't seem to find that number anywhere. I found this website https://www.eurail.com/en/book-reservations#/generatePassCoverNumber that can generate a pass cover number but I don't know how or where to find my mobile pass number. I looked through the confirmation email when I purchased the passes but it's not showing a “mobile” pass number that is 6 characters long and can contain numbers and l

We are making plans to go to Italy by train, from the Netherlands through Germany and Switzerland. We are trying to figure out whether it is cheaper with an EUrail pass or with regular tickets. I find this difficult for my 13 year old child.On the DB site is says: Children aged 6-14 travel free when accompanied by someone aged 15 or over. However, they must be specified at the time of booking.Does anyone know if an adult travelling with an EUrail pass can take a 13 year child without an EU rail pass on the train in Germany for free?  

Hey Guys, I'm 18 and this summer I want to do my first interrail with a travel buddy. I need help with planning as I bought a 15 days global pass to go and come back to ItalyThe city from where I am starting is Palermo which I'm going back before the end of the pass. The route would be Palermo-Zurich-Wien. Then I will be stopping at Bratislava to go to Prague (Bratislava-Prague) and Krakow (Bratislava- Krakow). After that I am going from Bratislava to Budapest, and Budapest-Bucarest-Istanbul-SofiaNow here comes the problem. From Sofia I wanted to take a shortcut from Sofia to Belgrade but I can't find anything to go to it. Also because I wanted to go to Zagreb and Ljubljana before going back to Palermo. I need y'all guys help you figure this out and also to see if any of you have tips or did this before

Hello. My wife and I are planning a trip to Europe in September 2025. We will visit France, Switzerland and Italy over a period of 3 weeks. Our major means of transportation is intended to be the Eurail Pass, but we will be spending some time in the Jungfrau region of Switzerland, and would appreciate some advice on the best options for travel there. Our current plan is to buy a 7 non-consecutive day pass and also a 3 or 4 day Jungfrau pass. We would use the Eurail pass to travel from Paris to Colmar, Colmar to Lucerne, Lucerne to the Jungfrau region (Lauterbrunnen or Grindelwald probably), and then stay 4 nights there. We understand that the Eurail pass would be strictly limited in the Jungfrau region, so we would purchase a 3 or 4 day Jungfrau pass to get around between Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen, Murren, Wengen, etc, while we were there. We would then use out Eurail pass to take us out of Switzerland and on to Italy, where we would spend the remainder of our vacation. I’ve done s

I use to travel with paperpass and prefere that. But due to the discount right now, and I don't yet now my travel date, I consider trying the mobile pass. But are there still problems when using the app, or are most of the problems people experienced solved? I am not super keen to rely on technology, if it is not working properly or difficult to use.

We are understanding that these cannot be booked at moment, but had two queries we are asking the community for assistance 😀We are planning to purchase a Eurail Global 4 day Pass & reserve a 4-bed couchette; will the Eurail pass offer a discount on the total fare? Will we only need to pay the reservation fee?Also, because the travel is overnight, would this count as 1-day or 2-days against our pass? Hello! I’m trying to figure out the travel day scenario and how it works. When I do the planner it says I should need 4 days, but then takes me to purchase 5 days. Right now we are looking at doing the following 4 trips. Rome → Bologna (Thursday mid day)Bologna → Rome (Friday morning)Rome → Florence (Monday morning) Florence → Venice (Wednesday morning) Based on this I assume I just need a 4 travel day in one month. But it isn’t helping me enough to explain it properly.  Additionally, is it better to go pass vs individual. Our travel friends did first class pass. But we have an extra day of travel over them.  thank you!!
