Eurail & Interrail Passes

Hi,I am purchasing the pass as a resident of Sweden but my country of residence is likely to change when I will activate the pass. Nevertheless, I will have an inbound and outbound trip in Sweden. After the inbound trip, i will move to my next country of residence. Can I travel there if the global pass has still days remaining?

Hey, I am trying to book a global pass (duration 1 month) but the system says, that it has technical problems. Does somebody know when I can book tickets again or when the system is going to work again? Thanks for your hep :)

Hey everybody! so i’m having a little problem, i want to download the interrail application so i can be able to organize my trips, but apparently my phone is too old for downloading it. is there a solution or an alternative for that ? thank you in advance :)

I have bought a global mobile pass. I will be travelling to Switzerland soon and will be taking a train directly to Bern from Zurich airport. However, I am unsure what time will the plane reach and the time after we get our luggage. Is it possible to add a journey to the Eurail pass last minute?Thank you in advance.

I have bought the 50 anniversary Interrail ticket several days ago, But I filled in my residence wrongly and didn’t realise it until I began my travel, now I cannot use this ticket at all in this country, please help me to reach the customer service because i am already traveling now and need to buy extra tickets every another day, I have submitted my request several times but nobody answered me, I worry so much now, anybody can help me to flag my request? thank you so much! 

Hello, I am interested in the 251€ pass which allows me to benefit from 7 days of travel over a month but when I plan my itinerary I am only offered the 335€ pass... What is the difference ?

Hi All.How should I count the days in Global Pass if I am travelling by overnight train. If I start my journey one evening and finish it the next day, how many days of my Global Pass will I use?Marek

I ordered 4 global 30 days passes together. Can i activate them on separate dates? they all will be valid for 30 days after each activation right? Can I travel within my own country with the global pass? or Can I just make the inbound and outbound travel to other countries? If it requires a connection in my country of residence before making an outbound journey to another country, (for example if I am travelling from Gothenberg to Copenhagen, I have to travel through Malmo which is also in Sweden) Will it count it as a single outbound journey?

I am travelling around Paris and to many places in Switzerland. Would trains like the metros in Paris be included in this pass or are they separate? I am also wondering if the trains within Switzerland are included. I would like to take the local trains from Bern, to Lauterbrunnen, to the Interlaken… I am unsure if this pass just includes the trains to big cities within countries or also to all the small places within the countries. Bilet bilgilerinde sadece ikamet edilen ülkeye gidiş ve tek dönüş hakkı olduğu söyleniyor. Bu durumda Almanya'dan başlasam bir kere Almanya'da kullanabilir miyim? Seyahatime Türkiye'den mi başlamalıyım?

How do you add a second pass to the app to allow planning a joint trip

HelloI purchased two Interrail tickets for around 600 EUR just a month before the Pandemic started, I got the email like most people informing us about being able to wait and return our old tickets for new ones as soon as travel was possible again, now that it finally “stopped” or atleast made it possible to travel again i went back to the mail to see instructions, to my shock it said you could only renew them until summer 2021.I am very aware that this is a 100% my fault but with having to move countries and the stress of the pandemic i just completely forgot to recheck the email. Is there anything i can do? i’ve been trying to contact interrail several times but havent gotten an answer,this is my last piece of hope that there is something i can possibly do and not loose out on 600 euro… Any advice is very appreciated thank you  

Hi,I want to purchase the Global Pass and I don’t entirely understand the policies regarding travelling within  home country. I hope the community will be able to help me here.Is it possible to return my hometown during the two months and then start again after a break period? (I assume not) If the first idea doesnt work, would it then be possible to travel with the pass to a city nearby the border of my home country from where I purchase separate tickets to travel to my hometown and then back again? For Interrail I didnt return to my home country then. How are trips booked in the mobile app exactly if I transit my home country? For example travelling from France to Poland crossing Germany? I assume I would only be allowed to transit without any stops in Germany? Lets say I would get out in Berlin and then book a trip from Poland (via Berlin) to another country, could I just jump on that train in Berlin theoretically? Or is there some ki

Deutsche Bahn writes: The "Interrail Global Pass Special Promotion" tickets are valid for the first day of validity in the period from May 6th, 2022 to April 9th, 2023 issued. Does this mean a 3 month pass can be bought now and then be used from April 9th to July 8th? 

Hi,I would like to know if I can do several, for example, 2-week trips with a global pass over 3 months. I know that I can only travel once out of my country and once into my country, but can I travel outside my home country if I have not started the trip with Interrail tickets from my home country? For example go from Vienna to Munich (i’m austrian) with an own ticket an then use Interrail again going on from munich, if i've used both inbound and outbound before. And from where do I have to buy the ticket when travelling back into my country not having the inbound anymore. The first station in my country or the last station in the foreign country?Thank you! Hi, I live in Belgium and am thinking of buying a Germany pass this summer to explore the country. I see that the pass includes the train between Brussels and Cologne. Does this mean I can use the pass to travel from my home to Germany or must I be in Germany already before I can use the international connections? Thank you 

HelloA problem: I bought 7 interrail global pass (mobile) for me, my wife and 5 travelling friends. Today we had a meeting to plan our journey  and to do the first steps:  install the Railplanner app and enter our pass number. I helped one of our travelling fellows and had his and my phones and of course I do the mistake to enter his pass number in my Railplanner app! Is there a way to remove his pass number from my Railplanner app and then enter it correct on his phone  or what to do?Our first travelling day will be in end June so we have still not added any trip and not activated our  pass.  RegardsUrban

Hi All, im brand new to this and have just bought a 3 month global mobile pass. So here’s my first question of no doubt, many more.What is a “trip”. My wife and I plan to travel from Liverpool, through Germany, France then on to Malaga, and back to Liverpool in a three week period, staying at various cities. Is this “one trip”?Or is each leg of that journey a trip? i.e, Liverpool to Paris is one trip. Paris to Nice is another, Nice to Montpellier  another etc etc.  So confused……..😕

I have a second question, if I take a train from Basel to Milan does it count as 1 days used of my Interail Pass?

I will be starting on a 7-leg trip from Oslo to London by train. I used the mobile Eurail Pass to save details of all legs of this journey and checked that a QR code had been generated for each (iphone 11 IoS 15.4.1, Railway Planner app version 23.11). Today everything has disappeared! I do see that some members have experienced a similar problem - I don’t want to have to enter ALL the details again…..is there a way out?ThanksNandini  

I have a global pass and would like to know if there are any buses on which I am allowed to travel with from Parchim(Germany) to Lübz(Germany)? And are you allowed to take bicycles on the buses?

Hi, my friend and I have purchased the interrail ticket (global pass) but our outbound/inbound journeys are a bit different since we live in different parts of italy. I've read that to add travel buddies you need to have the same trip. So my question is:How can we make reservations together (i mean: having seats close to each other), if our trips are a bit different?I'll explain better: we will meet in Milan, but to reach that city we will take different trains (me from south italy, her from north-west italy).After Milan we will take the same trains (milan-zurich-amsterdam-rotterdam-amsterdam-frankfurt-basel-colmar-basel-milan. Some of those trips have mandatory reservations).Then at the inbound journey, after reaching Milan, we will take different trains to come back to our homes. So:is there an online way to book our spots, on those same trains, close

and had to download again the  Rail app and it says it cannot add the number of the pas because it was already added. I tried to find a number to Call and there is none. Anybody who knows how to solve this? It is activated from Friday…  Thanks!

Dear Community,We wanted to book a reduced two month pass, but “problems occurred” so we were unable to. Now the offer is gone and no response from the customer service. Does anyone have experience with how to deal with that? We want to book as soon as possible. Any experiences/tips on how to reach a human working for Interrail are appreciated!!
