Eurail & Interrail Passes

Hey, me and my girlfriend will be travelling through Europe in a couple of weeks. We bought our passes and have them activated on the app for our travel dates. I have just reserved and paid for 2 seats on the Eurostar (London to Paris) and for some reason I have an email with tickets but this did not use a travel day on my app? Is there a reason this does not use a travel day or why can I not see them on there?  The only way it uses a travel day on the app is if I add a journey and use an unreserved ticket… This does not seem right.  TIA Alex

Does anyone know if there is a way to change the currency on the app? I want to reserve trains on there but it only shows me the price in Euros, when I need CAD $. 

Hello all :) I just wanted to book two ferry trips - one via Viking Lines (21.07. 16 clock Stockholm - Helsinki) and one via Eckerö Line (24.07. 9 clockHelsinki - Tallinn). Here I used the code EURAIL, but did not get a discount on either trip.Then I asked both ferry providers and Eckerö Line has answered me so far that the code is no longer valid. What is the reason for this? And will there be a new code soon? Can somebody help me with that?

We purchased a 5 day Global Pass last January. We start our travel next month. We have never received any paper documents from Eurail, is that normal? The U.S. had a lot of mail issues early this year.

I have purchased two paper senior global passes (not keen on technology) and have accidently put a wrong ‘First day of validity of your pass:’I have tried to contact Interrail via the website online contact several times since 30th March to see how to change the date. To date I have not received any reply!!! I find the process  mentioned on the website rather appalling and overly complex. BUY a New Pass and exchange!!!!!Why is there no easy way to contact Customer Service (seems there is none!)We have used Interrail serveral times in the las 10 years.

Hi, My family is holding Indian passport and we are living in Germany for 2 years with Blue card(Residence Permit) and we have invited my-in-laws to Germany on visiting visa and planning for Europe trip. Are we(My family + my-In-laws) eligible to buy Euro rail pass with our Indian passport? please advise. Thank you!

Interrail site is the most frustrating site I have ever come across. totally unfriendly site to use. Nothing works properly,. so difficult to leave a message as every time I TRY IT SENDS ME TO ANOTHER QUESTION WHICH SOMEONE HAS POSTED WHICH IS COMPLETELY NO USE. THIS IS MY 5TH ATTEMPT SO HERE GOES. I really want to speak to real person but it seems to be impossible with Interrail - I hope their tickets work better, but judging from the reviews I have had, everyone is having issues. I have two question. First. Why on earth does Interrail not have a telephone system where you can call and get help? I have been trying since March to get help. Left message in the enquiry form. Have left message in Messenger which just goes to a Bot who cannot help. Have left a note to be called back, no one does. Its really disgraceful . Its put me of using Interail . RANT OVER now I need to ask a question, I hope someone can help.

How critical is it to have included middle names on passes or seat reservations?  First and last are correct, but middle names were not included when booked.

Can not contact Eurail at any of their phone numbers and email bounced back. we are to travel next month and I need to activate out Mobile pass but can not contact any one at Eurail as none of their phone numbers work and an email bounced back. Anyone have any info on what’s going on? 

Hey there,I am planning on travelling to Italy from Vienna. My girlfriend is staying in Sicily for three months and I’d like to visit her as many times as possible, but I also have to work. So I decided that I will visit her once every month, time wise the 15 days in 2 months would work. Mu question is, does it work to travel Vienna - Taormina , Taormina - Vienna in April / Vienna - Milazzo, Milazzo - Vienna in may and Vienna - Milazzo , Milazzo - Vienna in June ? I get it that you can’t do inbound travel more than one time, so I thought about travelling only once through Austria with the interrail ticket and buy a regular one through the Öbb. But is it possible to have the same destination more than once? So say I travel Bozen - milazzo and then again milazzo - Bozen. I hope you can find an answer for me, because I would love to use train for travelling. All the best,Phil.

Ahoj,with an InterRail pass I just got charged in the RENFE Feve from Ferrol to Oviedo 12.25 EUR.I think the complete Feve network is free of charge with a valid InterRail pass with correctly filled in details.The ticket I got selled seems to be half the price of the official fare.I think this was a mistake, and I would like to get my money back.Is there anyone aware of* official documentation in spanish about InterRail validity on Feve, so I can show that to people at a ticket office? Hey guys, I’ve put my planned journey from London to Vienna into the website's ‘plan my trip'. By my count, it’s 4 travel days but the planner is counting it as six days.  The Pass is already added to my device - I have Deleted the pass from my device and want to the Pass to my clients device.Also need help to activate the pass on my clients device and book the reservations.

My phone was broken yesterday with my pass on it, and I can not add it on my new phone until the other is deactivated. I have trips coming up over the next couple of days, I really need help. @Nanja 

I would like to travel from Newcastle, England to lille, France. However, as I will have to change trains at St Pancras, London, to catch the Eurostar, does this count as 2 separate journeys ? 

I would like to know if the boat trip indicated on the interrail pass from Stockholm to Tallinn is included in the Interrail Pass (Global of 22 days)? As it is indicated on the official map… Could you help me please? Thank you

I have to travel from Germany to Italy on 11 April with return on 25 April, using a night train. I reside i Italy. Which interrail ticket should I buy for this journey?

Urgent I am currently in Germany about to board the next Train and I can see my rail pass is valid however the ticket inspector can't scan the QR code. What should I do? 

I’ve just added my pass to the app But was wondering if when I select ‘connect a trip’ will it then activate the pass? I don’t want the pass activated for another month. If you add a trip can you edit it? 

Does anyone know what the following rules mean at TRENITALIA if you travel in 1st class with Interrail. " Access to the executive and premium services class is not allowed on the frecciarossa 4L , where 1st class Interrail holders are allowed to travel in business" I have added a photo, but it has already been translated into Dutch. 

Dear Interrail Support Team,I again have another issue with the confirmation E-mail that I should have reveived after I payed for my ticket. It’s now the second time already that I payed for my ticket but I havent received any E-Mail yet with my Pass Number. I’ve already had to postpone my departure because without the E-Mail with the Pass Number I wasnt able to add the mobile pass to my phone.I already contacted the Support once and they told me to refund the ticket where I lost 40 Euros but now that it happened twice already I demand that they send me my Pass number with which I can finally start my travels.I’ve also already tried to login into my account and resent the Confirmation E-Mail but I haven’t received my Pass Information yet.I will contact the Support Team again because I dont wanna waste anymore of my time and I hope theissue resolves itself but I want to ask you guys what can I do now. Btw I refuse to cancell the order just to order

I bought a Pass yesterday but didn't get an confirmation email. I resent it 5 time already to different emails. And Yes the Email Addresses are correct and its not in the Spam folder. Furthermore I can't activate my Pass because they don't accept my ID Number. I wanted to travel today and I am really disappointed bc of the bad customer service and the technical problems!

Hi @all,I got one thing which I'm not sure about so far:I bought a Flexi Pass, 10 days within 2 months, long time ago. Then COVID came and the period to activate the pass was extented several times (now up until 31th August 2022). Thanks for that.As it's a Pass for Youths, I have to activate it until 10th May latest, because 11th ist my 28th birthday.We plan to travel in June and as the Pass is valid for 2 months, it's not really a thing, but: Will my situation/solution mean that the 10th May will be the first of the ten days to travel (which I'd kind of loose then) or is it possible to activate the Pass some weeks BEFORE really using it the first time?Thanks a lot for all your help!Kind regards from Switzerland Max

Hi there. Will it be necessary to leave the UK on the same day as my outbound journey? For example, I am planning to travel from Ludlow to London as my outbound journey, (day 1 of 7 days in a month pass), stay overnight in London then leave the UK by Eurostar the following morning (day 2 on pass). Is this permissible? Or do I have to leave the UK on the same day as I travel to London? Thanks in advance.
