Hello! I will be traveling to England and Paris over this upcoming May. My question is, when I buy a Eurail Pass, 4 days within 1 month pass for example, am I able to use that pass in England and France (including using the high-speed train from London to Paris)? Plan is to fly into London, take a train to York from London, go from York to Paris (connecting through London), and then Paris to Nice. 

Hi all,I’m considering buying a Eurail pass to support my bikepacking trip next year when I need to go farther/faster on some legs on my journey. Reading through the forums, I see that every country/train is different when it comes to bike space and it will be a case by case basis. Is it still worth getting the Eurail pass and then work out the bike complications as I go? Thanks for your time!

I want to use a Day for my travel from Bruxelles to Southampton, traveling by ferry. (Eurostar was not an option for me)I selected one morning connection from Bruxelles to Calais, and then another one in the afternoon continuing from Dover on to Southampton, but unless I'm missing something, it seems like my app won’t accept this as one whole day trip? What must I do to make this work as one whole day trip?Also, I assume that I must take the time zones into account, so if I book a departure time for a train in Britain, it means GMT and not CET, correct?

Hello,My question is regarding the 11 months stated in which you have to activate a global pass. Can that 11 months be extended?I wanted to take advantage of the sale before I book my break from my job. I very much doubt it will be a problem getting the career break accepted by my employer but I often think it is better to be safe than sorry. It took me longer to get my passport countersigned or I’d have been better organised than this.A little background. I have wanted to travel since I was young (not young anymore, at least physically😁). I can much better afford to travel Europe now and feel I need a break from my job of 20 years. I therefore wish to apply for my company’s career break policy. I have spoken to managers about the break and have been told it shouldn’t be a problem but I am not sure if I can know it has been accepted before the sale ends.As I would be spending a significant £900, or so, I want to be sure of this. HelloI have a Global Pass valid for 2 months.I just read on the website something that I don’t quite understand.I wanted to activate the pass next week and I thought I could later add as many trips/connections, new places to visit afterwards depending on where I’ll be and where I want to go next.Is that possible or is it mandatory to add all the travel details from the beginning before the activation of the Pass?Thank you for your help

Hi there, We are doing a europe trip in June / July and will be in Italy end of June/ beginning of July. For all our other destinations I have been able to see all planned trains for the days and destinations I need. Except when I search for any trains in Italy they do not show up. Trips are:Venice - RomeRome - NaplesNaples - FlorenceI am wondering if anyone knwhs why available trains are not showing up ? Thanks in advance 

I have purchased a ticket thru Trenitalia from Rome Termini to Innsbruck Main The journey has me changing from Trenitalia Frecciarossa 9584 to DB-Oebb EuroCity 80. I was able to print a PDF ticket from Rome to Bologna, however I have not found a way to print a PDF ticket on Oebb from Bologna to Innsbruck.  I do have a PNR Code for both legs of the travel.

I ordered our passes at the beginning of March 2023. The notice I received says that they will be sent:You can expect your Pass to be delivered on or before 2 May 2023. Please note that it takes up to 30 minutes for your order to become visible in our Reservation Service.You can find your Payment Confirmation attached. We will now start processing your order for printing and shipping. Remember: someone at your shipping address must sign for receipt of the passes upon delivery! Our trip starts on March 29th!!!!!   Is there any way to expedite delivery?  Help!

Hi, I’m travelling from Paris and want to go to Lago de Garda and then onto Gemona del Fruili. Does the Eurail pass cover these destinations? Thanks

Tengo un pase de 15 días en dos meses para 2 personas; uno de mis viajes será de Amsterdam a Munich durante la noche… quisiera saber en qué momento debo reservar mis asientos (2 personas), si es posible hacerlo con anticipación (y cuánto tiempo antes) para garantizar mis espacios y si solo con el pase activado puedo hacerlo o también hay opción de hacerlo aún sin activar el pase! We booked a set of Global 2 month passes including for our 11 year old.  We’ve worked out that when we activate for day 1 of travel she’ll be 12 so are planning to buy a new flexi pass “10 days in 2 months” (we also worked out we all don’t need 2 month continuous passes but that money is sunk!) .  Reservations already made on this site, especially Trenitalia show the Global Pass number in small print at the bottom.  Does this matter, or are we ok provided we show a reservation and a pass in the same name?  I can’t imagine how i would re reserve the same seat...

We have global 1st class passes.Will travel Naples-Florence April 8th. Appreciate advice ( cost and duration aside) on pleasantness or other notable advantages of choosing either:Intercity 590 Train to Florence Rifredi ( slower  approx 3 hrs but cheaper seat resevations)VsFrecciarissa 9532 Train to Florence SMN ( quicker approx 5 hrs but dearer seat reservations)  We are aware there is an option to avoid seat reservations altogether but it's a bit too slow approx 7 hrs but are happy to pay to keep the duration down.Thanks in advance from anyone familiar with these trains/ options. If I book/reserve a trip from North Germany to Bordeaux, can I stay one night in Karlsruhe and continue the next day, or do I have to leave Germany on the first travel day? If I get off the train on the first day already in Germany, would I have to pay seperately to get to the french border on the 2nd day and charge then my global pass for the 2nd trip (e.g. Strasbourg - Bordeaux)?

I’m a US citizen (with 3 family members), trying to travel by high-speed train between Paris Gare de Lyon and Barcelona Sants on Apr 3 2023. We are only taking ONE trip during our stay and I cannot figure out exactly what we need to purchase to make this reservation. Do I need a Eurail Global Pass AND a Paris > Barca reservation? It seems like Global Passes are best if I’m traveling a lot over the course of a month or year.  What do I need to buy and in what order? 

With the purchase of a global pass, is it possible to travel to one station by train, continue to the next by another means of transport not included in the pass and then continue by train?Can you also go back home and leave your home country several times?

I’ve read a few older posts about this but thought I would get an updated view from those in the know. I wish to travel from Budapest to Istanbul but there is not route found for this trip.However, I can travel from Budapest to Sofia and then Sofia to Istanbul with changes which I am happy to do if that’s the only way.I believe there might be sleepers between Budapest and Istanbul when I travel (it would be about 7th June), but cannot find much information about them. Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction, please?Many thanks.

We are trying to find the best deal and the interrail Global Pass seems like a great option, however, the information is very unclear and I cannot find any verified information (besides the map, which does not confirm if the night train is appliacable) , so I figured I could ask you.😊Can the global pass be used from Praha hl. nádraží (or Ústí nad Labem hl. nádraží) to Zürich Hbf, with no transfers? (we would have to book the sleeper extra, I know that). We would prefer to travel with the EC 458 Canopus (Praha - Dresden - Zürich), but if the only supported route is EC 337 Jižní expres /EN 462/EN 466 (Praha - Salzburg - Zürich), we could take that as well. What trains can we travel with in Switzerland with the same global pass? I would like to book a night train (couchette) in June (Basel to Copenhagen). Although it says that the train can be booked up to 90 days in advance, it seems to have run out of tickets and only shows me the option to reserve a seat. How can I reserve a couchette?

Trying to book the ‘reservation needed’ leg (Rotterdam to Antwerp 9.58 train Sat 22 April 2023) of my Leiden to Bruges journey.  Eurail site says no reservations available and can’t get any further with later trains (won’t go to ‘Make Reservation’ option). Tried direct with Thalys, but they are not showing the 9.58 or indeed any other departures at all.  Are there alternative ways of finding out if indeed reservations are all taken, and what the alternative options might be? I’m a newbie (last interrailed in 1974) so just trying to work out the system… Thank you. 

Hello, I would like to explore the Greek Islands with Interrail. For this I found the "Interrail Greek Islands Pass 6 days within one month". However, I would like to travel longer than 6 days in total. I come from Germany and would like to go to Greece via Italy with several days stopover.Unfortunately, the Greek Islands Pass only includes ferries to Greece and the islands, right?Is the ferry trip from Italy to Greece and the domestic ferry trips included in the Global Pass?Can I also use all international and national ferry connections with a 15 day global pass without additional costs?Can I then also use the bus network in Greece with this ticket? Thanks, Maike

I want to travel from Stockholm to Hamburg on the 17.03.2023 and there are no reservations available. Not on the Interrail website or the sj website. Does this mean the train is sold out?
