Por favor , que alguien me explique como usar interrail,LLegaré en avion a Edimburgo (Escocia) y desde aqui quiero recorrer Reino Unido en tren .Ya me he registrado en Interrail , y también en la comunidad , que espero que alguien se apiade de mi y le explique a éste novato a dar los primeros pasos . Por lo que he podido aveririguar hay un pase para un pais (en este caso Gran Bretaña ) , somos 2 , osea mi mujer y Yo , he llegado a averiguar los precios de los pases por días flexibles , y que habria que hacer reservas en algunos trenes y/o en algún horario pero que no puede hacerse desde la app , sino que tiene que ser desde la web. , o al menos eso creo , o en la estación ? , ¿ y la app es la Rail planner ? …Entonces que tengo que hacer ,¿ comprar el pase y que sea digital , quiero decir que te mandan en un correo para que te descargues el pase y luego lo tienes que poner en la app , ? y luego ya me pierdoasí que por favor ayuda

Does anyone know how to get a refund to a different credit card.   My partner bought a pass last March and has started a refund.  The process assumes that it’s on the same credit card but he’s got a new one (lost the old one).  So he needs to get the refund onto the new card ( or another way).   Is there a process for this?  Thanks. 

I have just activated my Pass and added the first few journeys. Some of the journeys are not “booked” with Eurail but various rail companies with seat reservations where we paid a fee. So am I doing this right? I search out those particular journeys on the Planner so I can add them to our mobile app on Days, and even though it says in Planner the ticket requires a reservation, I’m not repurchasing the seat reservation? Just want to confirm:  I’ll show a conductor My Journey on that Day in the Eurail app and also then show him/her the seat reservation confirmation from that particular rail company?

Hi,I’ve already booked my Eurail Pass for my trip to Spain next month. Now I’m trying to book my seat reservations through Rail Europe. However, I noticed that the system never asks for my pass number. When booking, it only asks me to select the type of pass (Eurail or Interrail), and after I select Eurail Global Pass, it just asks for my ID number and personal details. Is this normal?Do they not ask for pass number?(Just want to double confirm)-For eg,this is the only details i have to include(including email+ number)

I am gearing up to activate my 2 month, 10 day Eurail pass for our 18 day whirlwind trip. The 11 month activation date deadline is in four days. Is there a problem if my day one on the Pass is not until October 8 yet the activation date is tomorrow, Sept 17?

I found it difficult to use the Eurail app after I bought my pass last October. Over the last months, I have booked 6 of my 10 days with RailEurope. Some trips were not bookable there so I've tried the Eurail app again. Come to find out even though I had my pass number I never had a copy of my pass. So I got that and activated it for the start of our month traveling. It occurs to me now that my mobile Eurail  pass needs to include the details of all 10 of my trips, whether booked through RailEurope, or Eurail, or some other line like Luzern-Interlaken.  Is that correct?  Any other thoughts for me would be greatly appreciated. I've probably taken over 30 hours trying to understand the whole procedure and book all my trips with seat reservations. Still not there.  Help!

I planned a 10 trip journey over two months but got sick and had to cancel all my reservations. I was just now ready to rebook and make the passes active. But I just found out that my wife’s pass somehow is still active and has already missed two of her ten trips and two month window is up two days before my new itinerary. Can anyone provide any guidance for me? I understand once a pass is active and you’ve passed any ticket days the pass cannot be canceled.

I made reservations and then missed the train because of delay. Can I make an refund? 

Trains London - Paris, it's September but I can't seem to book for 29 December? But there are trains going because I saw on the Eurostar site. Why can’t I book through the Eurail site? Thanks for your advice!

Hello guys, I need a seat reservation of my eurail from brig to milano centrale, i saw i have a train EC61 from EuroCity on Friday 14th November but for some reason i can’t find where to buy this reservation. Eurail shown as travel from BRIG to Domodossola for Seat reservation required but i cant find where to buy.My Pass is Global Pass 2nd Class

Hello you all, thanks for any help.  Im struggling to find about the seats reservation from Brussels Midi to Amsterdam Central. My trip will be on November 7th.  At Eurail portal I find the train and show that maybe I need a reservation, when I look at the b-europe I can’t find any trains. 

Bonjour à tous,Pour des raisons médicales, je dois rentrer chez moi me soigner mais il me restera 4 jours de voyages disponible sur le pass qui est valable jusqu'à 5 novembre.Est-ce que lorsque je rentrerai en France (mon pays d'origine), le pass sera désactivé et/ou inutilisable malgré que des jours soient toujours disponible ?Je ne sais pas si c'est possible mais dans mon idéal, je comptais rentrer et attendre de me rétablir pour reprendre et continuer mon voyage avant la fin de validité du pass. Bien sûr en rachetant un pass pour compléter les jours de voyages nécessaire + les voyages vers et depuis mon pays d'origine.

Hello,I cannot reserve a trip having my Interrail Pass through the website. It always shows “Something went wrong”.I need to add my pass today to book my trip Barcelona → Geneva tomorrow. Please help me fix this.(P.S. if to choose “traveler with a mobile Pass” it works, only trouble clicking on “traveler with a paper Pass”

The Rail Planner app frustrates me immensely when planning train journeys through Italy. I can barely plan anything. For example, I want to travel from Ravenna to Rimini. The planner says there's only one train per day to Rimini at 6:08 AM, with a seat reservation (€15). If I disable seat reservations, the planner claims it's not possible to travel from Ravenna to Rimini without a seat reservation. Yet, I know from a question I asked AI that there are 12 trains per day from Ravenna to Rimini for only €6 per trip!I assume you can travel on local trains in Italy with the Interrail Global Pass (7 travel days per month).My question: do you also use the Rail Planner app as a journey planner, or is it better to use a different app for trip planning? Hello!I’m currently planning a train trip to Narvik in Norway, likely using an Interrail pass. However, I have a few questions about the pass that I’d like to know first. How do the different passes interact with Night trains? Does the reservation price change depending on if I have a 1st or 2nd class pass? Does having the pass even reduce the price of a sleeper ticket on these trains? Is it possible to book seat/sleeper reservations through the operator websites using the Interrail pass, or does it have to be done through here? How would I do this? Certain services have more than 2 classes. For operators like this, such as Eurostar, which class would the 1st class pass allow me to use? Would the reservation price be different to if I was going via standard class? Would the busses around Narvik also be covered by the Interrail pass? I’m intending to leave the UK on Eurostar for my Outbound journey. Would I then be able to fly back and have the interrail pass cover my journey from the a

I got a global pass and want to travel from the UK to Nice.I’m hoping to get the 20:57 train from Paris Austerlitz to Nice Ville on the 16th of October.When I log in to book a seat this is what I get. I’m assuming the most expensive option is a bed but I’m not sure. I did reach out to the helpdesk and they told me to use Rail Europe to book a bed (apparently they have no clue what the options shown in the screenshot are). However Rail Europe does not find the whole of my journey. Do I need to book seats both in Interrail and Rail Europe for the various legs of my journey? How does this work on the day? Do I have to use both the Interrail app and the Rail Europe app to show I have a valid pass and bed reservation? Or will my reservation in Rail Europe sync to the Interrail app?I’m trying to ask the helpdesk but it’s all very tedious with a 24h delay and often only half an answer so I thought I’d come ask here in case anyone knows. 

I have a Global Pass with a fully planned trip in the Railplanner app on my smartphone. I acquired it on 30/03/2025. The trip starts 13/09/2025.I get notifications in the Railplanner that I have to start planning a trip to keep my Pass active. They came in various shapes. Today I got one saying “Tomorrow is a travel day, but you haven’t added any journeys to your Pass yet.”In the app, I can see the Trip with all the travel days and journeys with all the train information; for each leg, I can see the check-box colored yellow and in the rightmost position. It seems like an Interrail central database is not aware of the information in my Railplanner app.When I login to my account on the interrail website, I can see my pass but no trip. I could recreate it there but I don’t want to do that because it is not clear to me if and how the data there is synchronized with the data in my smartphone Railplanner app.Interrail seems to be aware that I will be traveling on 14/09/2025 but it does not s

I have reserved seats for my journey on an Avanti West Coast train through the ACP Rail website, but there wasn't a booking reference space where I could enter my pass number?Does anyone know how you can claim the train tickets for the journey (if needed), or do you simply show your eurail pass when asked for your ticket, when on the train? 

I am going to buy a Global Flexi Eurail pass and will activate just before use as suggested. Travel date will be 14 April 24.My question is that I want to book my ticket a couple of months out from use but it then needs to be paid for. I'd like to travel from Rome to London. So that we can take a ferry or a plane to Ireland and but I'd like to travel through Switzerland just to see the area and get a hotel.
