My wife and I each have first-class passes for travel in Italy this summer. In making our seat reservations, we were apparently randomly assigned to seats rather than getting seats next to each other. Any way to rectify this? If we’re stuck with those for now, how do we avoid it on future reservations? Grazie.

Hi,we are in northern Spain right now and some trains are shown in the railplanner but in the office of Renfe they told us, we can not use them. This is very confusing because we relied on the app.Does anybody know why they show these trains?thank you in advance

it's one week that I try to complete my booking form; everytime I put the photo of my passport and they say they're checking it, but the next days it's like disappeard and it says that i didn't complete the booking yet.

I would like to go from Bochum to London on the first day of my passport. I have to change the train in Cologne. However, I would like to take a train earlier than the automatically indicated train from Bochum to Cologne. Can I enter two separate rides within Germany? Or does he just accept a total connection in your own country? Question is solved. Sorry.

Hello,is it possible to get from Bayonne/Hendaye (Fr) to Vigo (Sp) in one day via Bilbao or other northern Spanish city to avoid Madrid?I’m looking to travel 1 July 2025 but searching for dates before then (eg in 2 days time) as I know many routes are still not live. However, even when I search for the next few days/weeks, no routes at all are showing.I’m trying to avoid Barcelona and Madrid as I travel from London to Braga in Portugal (hence wanting to get to Vigo and cross the Spain/Portugal border there).Thanks for any creative travel tips!Julia

I’m planning to travel to Sicily in june and want to take the night train back from Siracusa to Milan on june 24. However, when looking for availability on raileurope or italiarail, thay can't sell me a reservation for this train on that day. When going to the Trenitalia website, it shows that the train is running, bus not being bookable. Does anyone know why this might be the case? Engineering works? On the dates before and after june 24 the train is bookable, but only couchettes, sleepers are not available. This is the case for the whole of june and a large part of may. It seems that may 14 is the last day for which a sleeper compartment can be bought. Are these completely axed from the Milan - Sicily route during the summer?

Hello, i am new to European train travel but i have a trip to Italy booked in August. The first leg of my trip is taking me from Milan to Rome on 23rd August, but when i search for the journey the train i want (08:30 from Milan Centrale) is showing along with the seat reservation costs but when i click to book i get the below message:"No price results were found. Pass holder reservations may be sold out for this connection, but there are other ways to check for available seats—more info below our timetable."I find it hard to beleive that these seats have aold out, as they have only just become available, after months of checking. I am also positive that it is not something i am doing at my end as i have successfully managed to book other journeys from Rome to Naples and Naples to Florence.  Can anybody offer any assistance?

Arrive into Malmo In August, have 2 weeks left to explore Europe but want to keep travel times minimal unless we use a sleeper. We have travelled from London, through Amsterdam, Berlin and arrived in Malmo. 

Hello,I would like to know if i can purchase a train ticket the day before or even on the same day. What I mean is, let me give you an example: I decide to change my itinerary at the last minute. Can I use my travel days freely, or do they have to be booked in advance?I’m not sure if with the app i “buy” a train ticket or just generate a general ticket that it is possible to use for every train route, like a passepartout. Example of what i need:I want to go from A to B on the 18th of july. i manage to plan this on the app but on the 17th of july (or even 18th morning) i change my mind and i have to go from point A to point C. Hallo,ich plane gerade eine lange Reise. Ich wohne selbst im Norden des Ruhrpotts. Ich würde mit meinem D-Ticket nach Kiel fahren, wo ich dann auf die Fähre nach Oslo steigen möchte. Dort würde dann eine lange Reise bis hoch nach Bodo starten. Dazu jeweils den Nachtzug nach Trondheim und dann die Nordlandbahn.Anschließend wäre entweder mit dem Bus oder über die Hurtigroute und kurzer Busfahrt die Fahrt nach Narvik angesagt. Von dort würde ich mit dem Nachtzug zurück nach Stockholm und weiter nach Malmö. Von dort wollte ich dann mit dem Nachtzug in einem Rutsch durch nach Innsbruck fahren.Die Reise würde sogar noch weiter bis Lausanne und zum Ätna gehen und knapp 12.000 km Gesamtlänge haben. Durch Ostfrankreich und Benelux geht es über Amsterdamm dann zurück ins Ruhrgebiet.Meine Frage ist: Würde für die Reise im Nachtzug von Malmö nach Innsbruck einer der In/Outbound-Tage gezählt? (Deutsche Halte wären zwar in Hamburg und München-Ost, aber ich halt schlafend auf gesamter Strecke an Bord

I am traveling Rome-NL today. From Milano to Lugano I take the 12.43 RE 25518. I didn't book seats because when I researched this trip no seat reservation was required. And now it shows up that I should book them. Tried ÖBB and Bahn.de but they will not let me book them...I have 20 mins of transfer time in Milano. When I cannot get on that train it will be a disaster for my trip. Help me out please...!! 

We have bought a 4 day in one month pass but will be using it over 5 days.We will start in Interlaken, Switzerland on the first day (Saturday morning) and have reserved the Eurostar from Brussels to London at 15:50 on the last day (Wednesday). We are trying to plan a route so we can take in a few countries and have a mini Europe trip.We are open to all ideas. It’s our first time using the pass. We will be using it to take a slow journey home after a holiday in Switzerland so we don’t plan to stop and visit anywhere in Switzerland.Thanks in advance.

I am trying to get from Hamburg Hbf to Kopenhagen Hbf on Tuesday, 10th June night with a Global Eurail pass and would prefer to travel without having to make seat reservations.The Eurail app is showing direct travel on EC1194 with reservations required... but when I select the "No reservations" option, I am getting an option from Hamburg Hbf to Flensburg on the same train (EC1194) but then I have to make 2 changes as shown below: My question is... if seat reservation is required on a train, it would be required for all intermediate stations and not just for the terminating station, right? So what am I missing?Although the information is quite clear in the app but there have been instances where the app was lacking and hence the doubt. Can someone please clarify?Thanks in advance!  

I booked a train from Barcelona Sant at 8.25 am and I would like to change it to 13.25 to Madrid Can I change my reservation?  

I booked the train for me and for my 2 friends but even if i subscribed them to my trip I have 4/7 days to travel while them 0 and the reservation don’t appear on their app. also the app told me i finished my credits even if i still have 3 days to travel

Please, I’am struggling with the app. how can I book two trains in the same day? I want to go from Rome to Verona with a six hour stop in Florence. Do I have to pick Verona as destination and then add the stop?

Hi. I am visiting London at the end of June and was planning on doing a day trip to Paris. On the Eurorail app on my phone it shows me the train I would like to take from London to Paris on the day I would like to go and says that reservations are required and there are limited seats for pass holders. When I look on the app it tells me the price of the reservations and leads me to booking them but I cannot book them on my phone. Although, when I pull the same train up from the website on my computer it tells me that “No price results were found. Pass holder reservations may be sold out for this connection, but there are other ways to check for available seats—more info below our timetable.” When I look at other places to check availability I cannot find the train either. Does this mean simply mean I am out of luck and there is no way for me to make a reservation? Hi there, first timer. Iam trying to get from Paris to Brussels on Monday 7th July. Eurostar are sold out of reservations. I have looked on seat 61 and have seen that there are trains that do this jorney taking around 4.5 hours. What I am truly confused about is how I know which trains I can use with my pass. Ideally I would like to leave in the morning around 10am. Everytime I use the interrail website it only gives me eurostar times. I would like to use regional trains with no reservations if possible 

I have been planning my August interrailing trip (my first time) starting on the website (because of bigger screen) and then adding them all again on the app (it doesn’t seem to want to sync between the two).One journey I looked at on 9 Aug. leave Paris Est at 10.54 and get to Gengenbach at 13.48 shows on the website that I need a reservation from Paris to Strasbourg (no surprise there). On the web the next two stages of the journey, Strasbourg to Offenburg, Offenburg to Gengenbach show as ‘you are ready to board’. On the app however it says I need reservations for the next 2 stages as well.Which is the correct one and how do I know?There are several of these instances in my itinery but I thought one example was enough.Thanks!

Hello i have interrail Spain one country pass and i need to go tomorrow from Valencia to Alicante. Seat reservation is mandatory but I can’t do it because once i go to “book my seat” in the app it says 404 error page not found. How can i fix this please
