Hello, I am looking for my pass cover number to make a seat reservation. I booked my interrail ticket yesterday and I found out that you need to make a seat reservation for the eurostar either on the interrail/eurorail website (apparently currently not working) requires my pass cover number which I do not have (mobile pass)Could someone help with this?  Thanks

Je n’arrive pas à effectuer la réservation du siège qui est apparement obligatoire entre Zürich et Vienne.  Or, j’ai déjà ajouté le trajet à mon pass et j’aimerais savoir comment procéder pour réserver un siège ?est-ce possible qu’il n’y ait plus de place disponible malgré le fait que j’aie pu ajouter le trajet à mon pass ?  puis-je voyager sans réservation ?  merci d’avance pour votre réponse. 

Hello! This is Julien, and I have an URGENT question that will need help from the customer service team. I booked an interrail pass for me in December 2020( Order Number: INxxxxxxxx) for a trip. However, due to the covid, the trip was postponed, and I received an email saying that the passes we purchased are valid for 3 years due to covid. Now I(Pass Number: xxxxxx) plan to start his trip tomorrow (July 10) morning (in 7 hrs!) but when I tried to activate the pass today I failed. The reason is I bought a pass for young people(under 27 years old) in 2020, but I just turned 28 years old 1.5 month ago this year. I have been looking forward to this trip for a long time and I have quite a tight budget and time so I have to depart already tomorrow. I believe this 3 years offer by interrail should also consider the circumstances that I am experiencing, and I will appreciate greatly for your help in this matter.Thank you very much for your help and I look forward to your replyBest regards,Juli

What extra charge is there for reserving the Bucharest-Istanbul train when you hold an Interrail Pass. Also, it seems like one can buy tickets for this train using the Romanian State Railway Company’s website, but not sure if you can use the Interrail Pass on this website? Does anyone know?

Greetings everyone from Romania! :) First of all apologies if the title isn’t too explicit or if a similar question has been asked previously --- tried to find it on own but I couldn’t.  Now the question I have: got myself a global pass & from what I’ve read in the user guide I have to note down my journeys. I want to do this the old-fashioned way to keep the vibe. However I don’t understand how should I proceed if during one travel day I change one or more trains. Do I have to write each train separately? Let's say I go from Budapest to Prague via Linz. I go into that journal & add like this: Budapest - Linz → new line → Linz - Prague, right?  Does it the same apply to the inbound / outbound journeys? For example Bucharest → Brasov → new line → Brasov → Budapest?Thank you all for your help! :) 

Hello,I want to go in a night train from Berlin to Warsaw, the problem is that I found some good routes (with a very good price) in the interrail app, and then when I click “go to webside” and I search for the trains the first disgrace that I find is that the prices are much higher. Then I click on the journeys that appear there and there is a message saying “prices unavailable” and doesn’t let me do the reservation. Anyone knows what can I do? is it possible that in a future I will be able to do my reservation on the trains? Thank you in advance,  Melcior. 

Hi,  my pass EU30671829 is showing all trips for the 7 days are used up however i should have 2 days remaining.   Two of the trips were mistakenly used as i made an error while using the app.   Please check your system to confirm, that i have only used 5 days out of the 7.Could you please help with updating my account so that i have 2 remaining days of travel left.I need this to be urgently resolved as i need to travel again in 3 days time.thankyou very much!

Booking is paid already.  Dear Michaela,   There was an issue with your reservation in order number 0000 Although your payment went through, there seems to be a technical glitch at the moment which means that part of the order could not be confirmed with the train carrier. You can see the failed reservation/part of the order by looking for the status “PRE-RESERVATION MADE” (successful reservations have the status “BOOKED”). Don't worry - you can still get your reservation (our team will re-book it for you).

Hi! Wondering if I am eligible for interrail if I was born in Denmark and hold EU citizenship but am a permanent resident in the US. And if case I am eligible, must I bring my American passport that says my US address or my danish passport to prove I am EU citizen? Any clarity would be greatly appreciated. Thanks !

Hello, I wanted to know, how through the website of the German train company, the route will be linked to my pass (just with a reservation of seats)? It won't. Reservations are completely separate, regardless of where and how you make them. This also means that you always have to add a journey to My Trip and then (shortly before boarding) to My Pass. Hello everyon, i have some doubts for my first interrail:-Is it possible to leave Italy and arrive at the destination? even on the way back? Doing so would use 2 days of travel, right?-I would like to leave for Copenhagen, Oslo and Stockholm staying 2-3 days in each city. Is it possible to do it with a 4 or 5 day global pass?Thanks a lot and good evening.

By mistake I didn’t include my 10 year old when buying my pass, I bought mine on 4/9/2022 with a 10% discount. Do I need to buy a new one? Would you please tell me what to do now? thank you. 

 Hi,Since I couldn't find the information I was looking for anywhere, I'll try here. I just booked a seat reservation for some trains. First I have a question regarding this reservation: Do I really have to bring the reservation as a printout? I mean, are they serious??? Because I specificially chose the e-Ticket and now there is standing that I have to print it out? I mean what the ***?! Second, I had to select a Trip in the booking process for the reservation (on the website). Since there was only one to select I just chose that one, but now I cant find a trip with this name in the rail planner app. Does that even matter? Does the trip have to be the same? I dont even know if my account is connected to this App and if not how i can do that.I'm really almost freaking out just because the app and all the stuff is so shitty organized and you can't see through it at all.This is stressing me out, please help me. 

Hi all I need to get from Hamburg to Copenhagen on the 23rd of July. The best train i could find when previously looking was the IC 394 train.When i try to reserve a seat for that train it says that “Reservation impossible”… for all trains leaving in that direction. Is there something happening that i have missed? Is a seat reservation really needed for this route or could i give it a go anyways without a reservation? Perhaps there is another route i could take just in case? Although, to be fair, there doesn’t seem to be too many ways to Denmark from Hamburg...

I want to travel from Amsterdam to Basel with ICE 105 on Monday the 18th July at 08:08. The rail planner app states “seat reservation recommendation” but checking oebb.at and bahn.com it seems that the train is fully booked. As the app says that reservations are recommended but not mandatory, I believe I should be able to travel, but I don’t want to gamble. Can someone confirm or deny? I’m fine with moving around in the train if my seat gets taken.Thanks,

Hi, we have already planned our trip and made the obligatory  reservations but thought of reserving seats for other trains as well. However, now it seems that there is one train left which is full. That's the only train we can use since our schedule has been fixed already (eg reservation on the eurostar later that day). Can it really be so bad that they won’t let us on the train without reservations,  even though they shouldn't be obligatory? The train is re7 from Flensburg to Hamburg, 8.15 - 10.15. I'm getting a bit terrified already, since I have my whole family with me... We wouldn't mind having to stand the two hours, if we can just get on the train!

We try to make seat reservations for our trip through italy in september 2022. But since months it is impossible to reserve for frecciarossa-trains after 18.september 2022 . Has anybody an idea to help?

I have Passes for my family.  I successfully made a seat reservation a week ago for one journey/travel day.  Now I am trying to make one for Sat 9th of July, Venice-Rome.  I can find the options using the Eurail ‘Book your Seat Reservations site’.  Some say ‘seat reservations unavailable’, others have availability.  I can add a specific reservation to my ‘Cart’ and add the billing details, but when I try the “Continue to traveler details>’ button it just boots me back to the eurail.com home page.I have tried 2 different browsers from my laptop, and from the Railplanner app.  So far it’s that same step (traveler details) that boots me out. I can see that there are seats available (for regular price) on italiarail.com.  I have tried looking up the trains and potentially making a reservation via tickets.oebb.at, but although I can find the routes and select tickets for them I have not been able to do this step as instructed by eurail for OBB:Before you pick your train, go to the top ri
