Hello! Has anyone gotten a night train from Strasbourg to Krakow with their Eurail Pass? Is there a direct train? Is it safe? Any advice is welcome, I’ve never done this before and feeling overwhelmed by this planning and uncertainty :)  I am also wondering if anyone has ever needed paper tickets delivered to their home or hotel? 

I selected a London to Amsterdam trip that said reservations required, I added the trip to my pass activated the passes and went and went to purchase the reservations but I can no longer find that train trip, it is offering me very few options on the reservation site compared to the Eurail Planner App. can anyone help please, it makes no sense to me, it clearly said limited seats available (be quick) and reservations required. Than you in advance.

Comprei os passes da Eurail hoje, mas os 3 passes vieram com o dia de nascimento errado, deve ter ocorrido alguma falha no sistema. Como devo proceder para alterar estas datas? Se não conseguir alterar, poderemos ter problemas ao embarcar?

my wife and i are travelling from Lucerne to Florence SMN on 2o September via Arth-Goldau and Milan. How do I find an see which seats are available?  and the cost? Eurail wants $170.00usd for seats!!!I have to stlll book seats from Florence to Lamezia and then to Rome, If I book a point to point ticket the seat is included Sorry 4 Euros total for seat selection

Im confused about the best time to add a journey for an interrail trip.Ive watched loads of you tube videos, but am still puzzled.I have a 5 day global pass, setting off on 14 May for 8 days.I have planned an itinerary and booked reservations where necessary.Do i load all the individual train journeys onto the app NOW in advance if my trip, or do i add each journey on the travel day as Im about to board the train?If i load all the journeys for the whole trip but we want to change one of the days, will the fact that it has already been connected to the trip mean we cant change one of the days?Thanks

How do I get from Paris to Rome without taking 23 hours? Do I have to book nearer the time?  All the given routes take a full day - 23 plus hours

I’m aware they recently added this as part of the eurail pass but has anybody tried booking a seat reservation on their website?. Cause I cant find an option on their website for it and I want to know in order to find out how much a seat reservation cost?. If anyone has booked a seat for it do you just do it through eurail and not iryo site?

I have the 15 flexi global pass and trying to decide if it is better to book my reservations now for the different places that I will traveling to, like brussels to Paris or wait till its closer. Trying to get an idea on flexibility. I would like to know if I create a reservation for say June 2nd but want to go somewhere on a different day, can I delete my June 2nd or does it automatically count as a travel day?

I cannot find the refund protection option when trying to purchase a 4 or 5 day pass. In the past, I was able to purchase as the “Plus” option, but now that it’s refund protection, I can’t find how to add it anywhere at checkout…?

Hello train travelers,I’m planning a trip between Berlin and Warsaw(Warszawa), as well as one between Warsaw and Prague(Praha). I can see on Polish, German, and Czech train website direct connections with Warsaw.However, the interrail app does not show them to me, whatever the dates (only with at least one connection).I have no problem to find the seat reservation, but I need to have the trip on the Interrail app as well.Do you experience the same issue?Thank you in advance!

I created a trip on the mobile app from Rome at 06:25 to Milan at 09:24. But when it was saved to my trip it had (+1day) next to the arrival time. When I deleted and re-planned it the same thing happened. If I try to get a seat reservation for a later part of the trip, it tells me I would still be on another journey. How do I fix this?

Regards to everyone,  i am evaluating to refound a pass, but it has been bought with lay-by payment. It is still  to pay the third part. How does it work in this case? Then i want to purchaise another pass upgraded but with discount, it is this possible? Thank to whose will answerRegards

Hello everyone,I have a question as I’m making my train reservations for Europe.I have a Eurail Global Pass and trying to make a seat reservation on Eurostar from London to Paris. But then I noticed Eurail reservation page doesn’t show certain times on the list but found Rail Europe has them available.For example, Eurail site doesn’t show 12:31pm - 16:01pm, but it shows up on RailEurope search.I want to check if this is neglected on Eurail side and nothing wrong with RailEurope as it shows up on Eurostar site as well.Thank you.

HelloMy wife and I are doing a bucket list 8 week tour of Europe in a few months time.  We have purchased a Eurail Global Pass with 15 train days 1st Class to use in 2 months, we are flying into London from New Zealand, then using Eurail to go to France, Belgium, Germany, Czechia, Austria, Switzerland then Italy, and fly home from Rome.Train Seat Reservations are a confusing issue.  Some sites say you must have them for Eurostar, France & Italy, not elsewhere.  Others say just hop on and choose your seat.  I don't want to pay for something I don't really need or is not required.My biggest question is when to purchase a seat reservation?  We are still a few months out, I have bought the train tickets, when do I need to book and pay for seat reservations, now, one month prior, or the day before travel?All advice most appreciated.  Cheers, KiwiPete

Hello everyone,I need to choose between a mobile or paper pass. I need to buy it now, because it’s a gift but I need 2 informations:the date of issue can be different of the date of purchase in the paper pass. But is it the same in the mobile pass ans how? Because no date to enter when buying it... the number of the ID card will change because it expire between the purchase and the travel, is it the same approach and cost with paper or mobile pass?Thanks

Dear Eurail community,I have bought a Global Pass. Could you please share one or more recommendations for the route Freiburg (Germany) - Roma? The idea is:Freiburg - Milano: here’s where I need the recommendation.Milano - Roma: it’s easy, just a direct Frecciarossa, I don’t have doubts here. For Freiburg - Milano, I read in this forum that the EC 151 is often delayed, and SBB has been lately strict with delayed trains coming from Germany. So, I could take other options. I could do Freiburg - Basel - Milano. Freiburg - Basel is quite easy. The main doubt/advice needed is for Basel - Milano as I read in the forum more than one option, but considering that later I’m going to Rome (in the same day) I’d like to see what recommendations you would have. Thanks in advance! 🚃

Hi, I’m from Austria and planing to travel from Salzburg to Germany. If i remember correctly, there were some problems with the mobile pass and border station within the country of residence. Will i have problems with the mobile pass and choosing Salzburg as beginning station or is this problem already solved? (As a one country pass doesn’t include the home country)  Or is there any work around?

Hi!I would like to travel to the UK in May and want to take the Eurostar from Rotterdam to London. I can only see that the seat reservation can be made with my Interrail ticket, but what if I buy the ticket and all the trains are fully booked (since its a busier period). Is it possible to cancel my Interrail ticket in that case?Cheers!

Hi everyone, I booked a ticket for 1 April from Aachen to Bordeaux which would travel through Belgium, I received an email stating that this journey is cancelled due to strike action in Belgium, the only other option I can find is from Aachen to Frankfurt, and then from Frankfurt to Bordeaux, it does make the journey longer, but it is still manageable, not having travelled much by train in Europe before I would just like to find out any comments if this is a workable solution, departures further north of Frankfurt still use the route through Belgium, welcome any advice, thanks Andre - South Africa

Get continues pass for 22 or 30 days.  or is there any other better option ? My understanding is - local transportation in these cities would not be covered in continues pass.  Your feedback & suggestions a

Hi Anyone had this issue when trying to reserve seates? I have tried several times and Im not slow so I dont understand why I get the "We couldn't add the reservations to your cart because the offer expired.
