traveling though europe in june. Trying to get from London to Barcelona on June 21st. Every train out of london is sold out. Does this mean the only option I have left is to fly out?

I have acquired a reservation with an IR-Pass. now I want to travel on the same train and keep theareservation but use it with a general trainticket.Is this possible?

Je suis redirigée vers le site Interrail alors que je veux réserver mes places sur l’application DiscoverEU. Sur le site, on me parle de crédits pour réserver ma place et non d’euros. Ce n’est pas très clair, quelqu’un pourrait-il me détailler la procédure pour réserver ses places ? Merci

I am planning a trip in September/October starting from southern England and at the moment finishing in Vienna. If I flew to Scotland at the end of this trip could I use my inbound day of travel for a train from Scotland back to southern England? If that’s acceptable does the inbound travel day start as soon as I step off the flight or can it be started within the validity period for the global pass? Thanks in advance

I purchased my electronic passes (for two senior travelers) and put them into the Rail Planner app.Then I went to the website and purchased my reservations for three different days.  I was able to print those reservations.When I go to board the train, do I just show the reservations?  Or do I somehow need to show the pass on my phone?  I don’t understand how to bring up the pass.  It wants me to add Trips and Journeys, and I don’t really understand that since I have my reservations already - which are already in the app but not part of a “Journey.”  Oh, help!  I’m so confused and worried that the pass won’t work when we are there.One more question.  If I’m traveling to and from a destination on the same day, both trips only count as one day, right?

We are a family of 4 planning to travel on night trains in Norway this Summer. We have 1st class passes but this isn't always available which leaves my partner and 2 sons in a 3 berth cabin and me sharing with 2 female strangers. Is there any way to book 2 x 2 berths so we can travel together?

If I’m travelling from Amsterdam Centraal to Delft and need to change trains or platforms at Sloterdijk, with my paper Global Pass, do I write Sloterdijk or Delft as my destination. I won’t be leaving the station, just changing either platforms or trains.

Hi teamwe are coming to Europe in May and I had a few more questions.We are travelling in May but the global pass train from Rome to Paris with only one connection change in Milan has limited seats. How can I secure the seats in that line before without having to activate the pass? ( if we activate the pass now then we have 1 month to use it but we are coming next month) Are there police in the train stations and at what times we are worried about pick pockets in some of our destinations travelling with kidsyour assistance is greatly appreciated! wazma

I am considering hiring an ebike in and around Colmar next month to explore the surrounding countryside as well the city. But my experience of being a pedestrian in France has not always been the best. How safe is cycling in France? Also as a bike is a vehicle, do you need to carry a breathiliser? I would like to confirm my understanding that the Benelux Rail pass (already purchased) offers a ride on Eurocity Direct train from Brussels Midi to Amsterdam Zuid with no cost nor seat reservation. Is my understanding correct? Thanks. 

Hola, tengo mi pase Interrail de 7 días pero no entiendo cómo funciona, es decir puedo utilizar 7 días los trenes que quiera ? O por ejemplo estoy dos semanas pero lo utilizo 7 veces y sirve. no entiendo muy bien el funcionamiento

Hello there, Trying to get a seat to go from Lyon to Bruxelles in July but it seems impossible to get a reservation. It tells the price and all but apparently we cannot make a reservation. Does someone know why ? Can we just not use interrail to go to Bruxelles from Lyon ? But then why does the price appear on this website ? It seems to be the same evryday, so not a problem of avaibility.At my train station they say they cannot book seat for interrail, but do you know if there i s a spot/train station I could ask for it ?   Thank your for your reply !Sarah.

Hi there!I’m travelling from UK > France > Spain in late May/June, and a family member purchased a Eurail pass for me which I’ve now loaded onto my phone but for some reason I cannot get my booking for the first leg of the journey onto the app? The family member already purchased seat reservations for us and I have the confirmation emails but that particular leg of the journey and times do not show up and there does not seem to be an easy way to add it. Any assistance would be much appreciated! 

Hi, I’m going inter railing for 3 weeks for the first time in June. I am travelling through Spain, south of France and Italy. I’m undecided on whether to take a suitcase or buy a backpack. Everywhere I am staying is close to all the train stations so I won't be walking around with luggage for long. just wondering whether to save the cost of buying a backpack and taking a suitcase that Ive already got. Hi,I am looking to do a night train from Zurich to Ljubijana on May 23rd for the 20:40. I am very confused on the person. It says I need to buy a seat reservation of USD $18.53. Okay makes sense there. However when I go to OEBB website and click Seat Reservation only it says no tickets available. When I unclick that box, it shows me the cost of OEBB ticket starting at 55 euros and then whatever seat I want. I guess my question is, when I pay on Eurail for the seat reservation of $18.53, am I getting some sort of seat on OEBB or do I have to do something else on OEBB website?   

On the 17th of May we (my wife and I) from Venice to Napoli. By mistake I made seat reservations in the silent wagon. However it is nice to talk a bit to each other on such a long trip.Tried to correct this with Trenitalia customer service, tomnromal 1st claas, but found out that this is not easy.Questiion is double.Is silent very silent or is soft conversation allowed. In Holland itis a deathsin to make any noise. Can imagine that in Italy one is more easy.Or does someone know a fastlane for changing a seat booking? Thanks Haeije Manders

I want to use my Global Pass to travel from Paddington to Bristol Parkway. On the Eurail website I get “Not available from Eurail.com……Book online at www.acprail.com” When I go to ACPRail, i can’t use my pass, I have to purchase a ticket. Am I doing something wrong?   

I am planning a 16 day trip this month to travel from Switzerland to Italy. Arriving in Zurich airport and going to Lucerne immediately. Will then travel to Grindewald for a few days before going to Zermatt. However, my next stop from Zermatt to Venice seems to be very more than 9 hours (based on the train schedule from SBB). I am planning to go to Rome after Venice before my final destination at Milan which is where I will fly back home.My questions are :(a) Should I buy Swiss Travel pass to travel within Switzerland? What pass should I buy since there are 2 countries i am travelling (b) Is there a faster train ride to travel from Zermatt to Venice? Based on what SBB provides, it is a very long ride with the need to make 5 train changes so I am hoping to find a shorter train ride. (c) Could I obtain advice which route requires seat reservations and should I purchase 1st or 2nd class seats? Thanking in advance. 

Hello,I’m travelling with a few young girls and want to make sure my first few days of travel go as smooth as possible. I’m planning to travel from Amsterdam to Istanbul. I need to be in Istanbul on a specific date for a wedding! Therefore, my question is… do I need to take ‘buffer’ days into consideration? I am aiming to go interrailing next year in 2026, however am very prepared and like to have a look at various route options, and to accustom myself to the process I will have to go through when eventually booking my trip. I looked up the routes I want to go on during my trip with my partner, and also had a look at some of the seat reservation options for 2025 in May (which is when we want to travel next year). I see that you can book seats up to 90 days in advance, but found EVERY date within 90 days in the future completely booked up! 90 days from today is specifically the 7th of July 2025, and even those tickets were completely sold out. How do I avoid this or ensure that I can reserve a space on the more popular routes? I did check at 11am, should I be checking at midnight or early hours of the morning? The route I am talking about specifically is Avignon to Barcelona.
