Hi Community!I am traveling to switzerland and booked hotel near Interlaken west. I am aware that most departures are from interlaken OST so I will be getting Interlaken guest to make my commute easier.I have a confusion and hope that you all will try to address it.I am not purchasing any kind of jungfraujoch pass since I am purchasing Eurail pass so will be buying individual tickets for top of the europe and Gridenlwald first at discounts available for pass holders.My Question is:Travel to Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe:I am seeing the tickets on the website are they are as follows:https://www.jungfrau.ch/en-gb/jungfraujoch-top-of-europe/buy-jungfraujoch-ticket/I am not sure which location should I choose? Although price are same if I choose EURAIL pass i.e. 147.8 CHF. Should I need add journey in my Eurail pass as well for any of the location in the above route while traveling from Interlaken OST?Travel to Gridenlwald first:I am seeing the tickets on the website are they are as follows

I adding a journey from Montreux to Zweisimmen arriving at 17:57.  I then tried adding a journey from Zweisimmen to Lauterbrunnen departin at 18:02.  It says”  It looks like you will be on another train at this time.  Please adjust your prior journey”   Obviously, I will not be on another train but assumed it thought the connection was too tight so I tried adding the train which departs one hour later.  It said the same thing.  What am I doin wrong?  Do I just wait until I arrive and then remove the first one and try adding the second journey ? 

The interrail app show by the train Mandello Del Lario - Olcio: not in passnetwork. But in my opinon is that not correct. In my information: is just a trenord train, right? And also in other trennord trains is interrail vallid. Why interrail would be not vallid in the train Lecce - Olcio???

Hello,My husband, 20 year old daughter and myself are traveling next month from Amsterdam to Würzburg and multiple other locations in Germany then back to Amsterdam to fly back home. I made an error in my train seat reservations (which cannot be changed), but fortunately caught now.As I am looking to again reserve those seats which are optional, I noticed the rail planner has Frankfurt as the connecting city. However, on other ticket sites, Düsseldorf is listed as the connecting city.If I reserve on the rail planner, will I truly have reserved seats on the train to Düsseldorf?And though likely covered elsewhere, do we really need to reserve seats on this route?My sincere thanks for any assistance in this matter.Michele

,Hi,We are interrailing as a group of 4 during the summer (June-July) and we would like to take a sleeper train on 8.7. between 22:16-06:16 from Prague to Krakow. We would like to book beds to sleep in, but the reservation does not seem to be possible at the moment in the CD page. Does anyone have any information on when the tickets would be available and we can book the train? Hallo, ich wollte einmal nachfragen, ob ich die Sitzplatzreservierungen auch über die einzelnen Bahnseiten machen kann? Zb.: über die Deutsche Bahn Internetseite. Oder muss/kann ich die Reservierungen nur über die Rail App oder Online unter Interrail machen? 

Hi!I have bought a pass from here and booked a trip via the rail planner going in late june.When I checked yesterday, I saw that we have a change time of about 4 minutes between some trains in some places.Since we have reserved seats on some trains, it will be a bit too expensive to rebook and just throw that money away. Do you have any tips on what I should do or help me book/replan without having to leave the seats we have already reserved?

I am not born in EU countries but I have my resident permit here in Austria, currently I am the int. student here which pass should I choose Interrail pass or Eurail pass? Another question is for one country pass, I do only France but the train route cross Germany - is it okay?

HiFirst Lesson learntInterrail planner says “Reservation Optional” PLS IGNORE THIS.  I have been planning my journey for past 2/3 months - It was just by chance I looked at the country own web site. It was then I found out NO SEATS Available on a train I planned to take, just as well I checked, yet inter rail planner says I am all good to go , and I dont need to make any seat reservation. HELP FROM THE COMMUNITYWith above issues in mind, I re visited all  my plans and rather then believing what the app is telling me , I went onto the country web site.This is where my disbelief just stated.Trying to reserve 2 seats from Basel to Lille The swiss train web site will not give me the options for inter rail pass.The inter rail planner - if I go via them , then it is saying in order to reserve seats - It will cost me sub 100 Euros Surely this cant be correct ?Especially I have purchased 1st Class interrail pass - Surely I cant then be expected to pay additional 100 Euros - Am i being naive  o

Hi ,We are travelling to Endinburgh from London on the London North Eastern Railway . I have booked seat resevations. Do I just show them our eurail pass when we get on the train? Or how does it work? We havent used Eurail pass before. It is also the first time Ive made seat reservations  externally. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I was hoping to travel from Salzburg to Venice on 18th August this year via the Brenner pass. This involves taking the RKX662 and RJ85, changing in Innsbruck. Thing is, this train isn’t appearing on the timetable (via DB trains or OSS) but it’s there on the 19th August. How can I confirm that it’s just not a daily service and I’m unlucky or if it will become available later? I don’t see how it will become available later if it’s displaying for the day afterwards…

Hi,I will be traveling with my girlfriend, and we both have Eurail Global passes. I purchased our tickets for each destination using my Eurail account, and the tickets are currently under my Booking section in the Eurail app.  If we look in her Eurail app under the Booking section, we do not see the same tickets. If I lose my phone on the trip, how can we pull up the tickets in her Eurail app?  I am assuming that when boarding a train, I will show our tickets and my Eurail pass, and my girlfriend will need to show only her Eurail pass? Best regards,Michael Bechtold  

Hello! I have a couple of  questions about how the Pass works. First I wanted to know if the trip has to start and end in the same train station or at least the same country. Related to that I was wondering, if I’m planning on visiting 5 cities (Vienna, Prague, Berlin, Amsterdam and Paris) can Paris be the last “destination”? (I would start my trip from Milan). I hope I made myself clear.Please help me if you can because I'm going crazy planning this trip ahah. Thanks!

Hi friends! I’m taking the 12:22 pm train from Ax-Les-thermes to Narbonne today and noticed when I checked train line and SNCF app that the stop for Narbonne is terminated.  When this happens, is my only other alternative to take the next connection and hang around Toulouse longer (or leave ax on the second train out?) I’ve got large suitcases and prefer not to arrive too late.  What app do you recommend for checking live train times since the eurail planner isn’t up to date ? thanks friends! It’s been three years since I used eurail again and I’m trying to remember how to navigate!  I bought the first class eurail pass for France only if that’s important. 

Hi everyone! 👋 My partner and I are planning our very first Interrail trip this summer (from late July to mid-August), and we’d love to get some advice from the community. Here’s our itinerary:Munich → Vienna → Hallstatt → Ljubljana → Venice → Lake Como → Milan We’ve already booked all our accommodations, but we’re still unsure about seat reservations.Would you recommend booking them in advance for any of these routes? Are there any journeys where reservations are strongly advised or even mandatory? We’re aware that some come with an additional fee.Also, if we travel without a reservation, is it possible we could be denied boarding? And finally, if you have any tips for first-time Interrailers, we’d love to hear them!Packing hacks, train tricks, scenic routes, or just things you wish you’d known before your first trip. Thanks so much in advance 🙏 and happy travels to all of you!

Hi all,I’m new to interrailing and trying to learn as much as I can quickly. I am worried about booking tickets for this summer and missing the tickets for Eurostar and night trains.I have purchased a 10 day pass with the aim of going on two trips this summer with my partner and two sons. First trip is from London to Amsterdam, then to Germany, and back to London. The second trip is then to Croatia - I’m still trying to work out a route for this. Today, I noted that I cannot use the pass for my second trip in and out of the UK. So I guess I need to purchase Eurostar separately for this return trip. My concern is that if I do the first trip and return back to London my pass will no longer be valid. Is it ok to do this?Also I am looking at booking the night train from Zagreb to Stuttgart and the website says the train might be subject to change. Is this a concern? I am not sure if this just means a timetable change or a cancellation. We do need to return from Croatia as quickly as possib

I made a mistake by booking my seat alone because I didn't knew we could reserve it together(with your group). So, I wanted to know if we could take it back or change seats because they're saying we can't.Hope you can help me and have a nice Day.

Hello guys  I am going interrailing this summer with two of my freinds, and we have some questionsCan we get a guide to how to book a ferry from Greece to Italy? Also if you plan your trip on Eurail Interrail, why cant we see the ferry routs, specifically from Italy (ancona) to croatia (spilt)? Do i buy a ferry ticket on  Eurail app, or do i use another app or website?Thanks!

I allready bought a pass on the interrail website.euI have a iPhone and a laptop with windows 11, I used the browser Firefox.I activated my pass at the mobile Rail Planer App and conect it with a spesific trip. The same pass is connected to another trip on the interrail website in my account. The Trip from the App isn’t shown on the interrail website and the Trip on the website isn’t shown in the App. I can change the trips in the app as I want but in my accout there changes nothing. So the sincronization between the online website and the app obviosly doesn´t work, even it´s the same pass and the same account. How can I fix this?

Hi - any advice please on how to approach reservations for July for journey 3 passholders and 1 non passholder Lake Bled to Budapest.  And then Budapest to Prague a few days later.  We would all like to sit/travel together.  First time interrailing - I think I can deal with the 3 passholder bookings but not sure how to navigate with this additional non pass.  Any steer/advice much appreciated.

Hi Thanks to this community wife/I have now managed to put our plan together. We are travelling for the 1st time on this type of holiday.Help/suggestion.We have have Lebara network provider SIM phone ( UK based). This provides us with the ability to roam within EU - at no extra cost.Though just returned from Prague and it did not work there - The google map was just not picking up the data. We plan to travel to following countries - noting 1 of them is not part nof EU.Norway Sweden Denmark Germany Austria Switzerland FranceAny suggestion as to how best to make sure our google maps works, so we are able to find our way in that given country/location and we are able to acess our passes/tickets etc on our phone.is Esim the way to go - or is there a SIM only provider that gurantees good signal across all the countires.Or would we need to see how we get on each country and then buy either Esim/local sim in that given country.I am from a generation where we had everythig printed and had pape

I have a Eurail pass  Nothing booked  I’d like to  book from Glasgow to Frankfurt airport   Hopefully do it in one day  Eurail website sent me to another website  Says “cannot book from your address”  I am in the US   Help? 

I have an Interrail Pass that is valid for one month and is set to expire on August 11th. I would like to start my trip on August 1st. If I activate the pass on that date, will I be able to use it for the full month, or will it stop working after August 11th? In other words, is the one-month validity counted from the activation date, or is August 11th the absolute latest date I can use the pass, regardless of when I activate it?

Hola, tengo dos pases globales de 7 días en un mes para empezar a usar en septiembre, el día 1 ya tengo los billetes, y cuando quiero agregar viajes para el dia 2, guardo viaje en la carpeta creada y me pone que no está asociado a ningún viaje, claro me deja hacerlo pero desvinculando el viaje del día 1, y no entiendo como puedo "comprar" todos los viajes de los 7 días para que queden vinculados cada uno en el pase de las dos personas que somos.Tengo que vincular cada viaje después de haber terminado cada trayecto?
