Eurail & Interrail Passes

I’m trying to book seats for January with eurail global pass and it doesn’t seem to be available. Is it likely they are sold out? 

I am so confused. I bought the Global Mobile Pass Flex. We will be going from London to Brussels to Amsterdam all in the space of July 22 to the 27. I’ve downloaded the Eurostar app, the Rail Europe app which told me that to activate my pass I need to download another app (Rail Planner) I am losing my mind. We would like to take a day trip from Brussels to Bruge. Do I need to buy yet another train ticket for this, or will the pass we already have get us on a train? And why can’t I see any kind of barcode or QR code FOR the actual Eurail Pass? When I go to the Rail Europe app I’m prompted to add go to the Rail Planner and do steps 1-3. But I’ve done that. Like I said, I’m losing my mind with this. Help, please! 

I didn’t realise I had to activator my interrail pass as I already had the pass numbers. today I booked an English LNER train which when I checked said it accepted interrail global passes. However, when I booked it didn’t ask for the pass number. I didn’t receive any discount. later on today I received communications from interrail asking me to activate my pass and download the app. When o search for the same train through the app it looks a lot cheaper.what do I do? How do I get a refund? I’ve also paid for other trains before activating my pass. In total I’ve spent about £200 on top of my £450 interrail pass.       

Is it possible for me to buy a pass which acts as a return day pass each day? I plan to stay in St. Gallen, Switzerland and each day travel from there to a different place for the day and then return back to St.Gallen to stay the night and so on

Hey,Are the old “additional my trip lines” files with the old Interrail/Eurail logo still valid to use with a paper pass?

Two things I wish we knew when we started out! when you download your train trip for the day, be sure to screenshot your QR code as sometimes you don’t get Wi-Fi on the train and therefore can’t show it to the conductor.Second your QR code can be used to get in and out of the train stations through the turn styles so you don’t have to buy separate tickets. If you have first class tickets be sure to get on the train with a number one on it.We didn’t quite get to figure out that if we had to have seat Reservations for first class if we could just go to second class instead

I have reservations on Eurostar from London to Paris 5/19 leaving at 12:31 arriving at 15:58, then on the night train from Paris to Toulouse same day leaving at 22:13. The app won’t let me add the night train to my pass as it keeps saying the journey overlaps with another. Clearly it does not. I’ve also had trouble with the app showing incorrect times in the list of journeys added to my trip, but correct after opening the journey. Not sure what’s going on.

Pouvons nous voyager dans les autres trains sans billets (ceux de notre itinéraire mais sans placement obligatoire) ? Comment pouvons-nous avoir accès à nos billets (non sur payant) ? I only have an American passport and I’d like to spend a couple years in the UK to do research via the UK HPI Visa. I’ll be staying with a family member near London.Am I eligible for an Interrail pass? I have a feeling I would have complications with showing my US passport and an Interrail pass together.

Hello,I recently booked a ticket on the Euronight train from Prague to Warsaw via the cd.cz website.Here is the link to my journey:https://www.cd.cz/en/vlak/443/1.7.2025/5457076/22.16/5100065/9.17/The problem is that I cannot find this exact route in the Eurail app, so I’m unable to register it there. When I search for the route in the app, it only shows options with transfers instead of the direct night train.If I select one of the transfer routes, it seems I have to use 2 Travel Days. But as far as I understand, since it’s a night train, I should be able to use only 1 Travel Day (on the departure date), which would save one of my days.How can I fix this issue?

Hi, i think i made a mistake with activating my eurrail pass. In dutch (netherlands)  and have 2 number on my passport. One is a document number and one is a personal number. They said to fill in the id number and i filled in my document number. Does it matter which number it is if the pass will match it in eacht europian country i go to. Or do i need to change it to the personal number?

I am trying to book tickets and both the app and the website are stuck in the loading phase. This has been a problem for hours. I see it has been an issue historically, (2 years ago) and the answer was the IT crew were on it and the user should update the app. I am anxious about deleting and re-uploading the app in case I lose my current bookings.  anyone else having same issue? Anyone has any ideas how to get around this? 

Our group of friends is going to travel europe during this summer. We have encountered a problem of comprehension of the way de system of travel days works. In our case we want to take an itinerary from Budapest to Split and we have to take multiple trains to get there. The case is that we had taken a 4 days pass, and we don’t understand if the fact that we are travelling at night and travelling in different trains is considered just one day of travel or if it is considered 2 days of travel. It’s important to specify that these trains transfers are not only during the night (before 00.00) but also after 00.00. Someone could please help us understand if it’s 1 travel  day or 2?? Thank you

I purchased three Global passes and they are showing different information. Two of them are showing that we have now used 3/10 days and day 4 as “available”. The third one is showing 3/10 days used as well but shows “May 10” under day 4. Why isn’t it showing as available and will it cause any issue? Thank you 

   Hi all, I have been hearing mix things about what is covered and not in eurorail pass for the above two trips. Some of the routes in this area was recently added maybe. Hi ! I don't have a smartphone. I would like to buy a global pass before this weekend. Is it impossible just because I choose not to have a smartphone ? 

Hello fellow travellers,I have a one country pass for France and I want to go from Karlsruhe to Dijon this Friday 9th of May. Initially, my plan was to travel to Mulhouse via Freiburg and Müllheim on regional trains using my Deutschland-Ticket. I have (cancellable) reservations for the 17:46 TGV Mulhouse-Dijon. But because of the strike situation, I fear that the TER Müllheim-Mulhouse might get cancelled (it often does) and I am looking for alternatives.Is there a way to get on the TGV 15:12 Karlsruhe-Besançon (TGV) with my one country pass?If I am looking on this page https://www.bahn.de/buchung/start?KL=2&ET=PASSZUSCHLAG I get three offers: a) 15€ Passzuschlag one country (“valid for the German section for users of a one-country pass except German Pass”)b) 35€ Passzuschlag German Rail pass which clearly doesn’t apply

I have loaded a trip and I believe I have inadvertently activated my pass, although I am not leaving for 2 weeks.  The trip is currently empty of journeys.I have imported the trip we have input into my partners phone. However this is now shown as a separate trip.How can I move my pass to the trip with all the individual journeys enteredOr how can I merge the two trips into oneOr how can I migrate the journeys from my partners trip into my activated trip, without having to re-input every journey. I find the app is not user friendly and is very limited in capability.  Any suggestions will be gratefully received.    

No doubt this has been asked before, but we would like to purchase a five travel day global Eurail Pass for mid July 2025.  While our plans are pretty sure, if something were to change (health issues, etc) is it possible to cancel prior to the start of the trip?  If so, is it full refund?   Thank you. 

Hello I have read that Lauterbrunnen to Wengen is included in the eurail global pass, but when I look on the rail planner app every option is listed as not in network.I read some questions asked earlier where it’s mentioned it’s a bug on the eurail app. I want to know what should we do in this case. I think we have to add a trip to our journey and then create a ticket for that. I want to know how can i do this for Lauterbrunnen to Wengen route.

Hey! I put me and my moms (who’s pass I put in this request) passes in the Mobile app, and i put them about two weeks ago. The problem is, i put same days, mut the app put my moms start date at 25. April when it was supposed to start at 25 June. I noticed it just now and Its too Late to change it. I was sure i put our dates at the same time and the validity has started but we have Planned the trip in july and not now. My own pass is at the right time but hers isn’t. I am underage and I don’t want to ruin this trip because of the apps mistake on my Phone. Can someone change my moms date to 25. June, we have not used Any on the days or bought Any train tickets yet. It was a mistake from the app and I would like to change the date.

I purchased a global pass for 4 people. I installed the app on my phone, but I was only able to activate my pass. Does each person need to have their own app?

Hi, I was tried to make seat reservation for my trip but unfortunately failed from apps and also Webpage keep refreshing. I went through others webpage such as ÖBB it show the Ticket not available.My trip detail: Spiez › Milano Centrale - 8:05dep ~ 10:50arr (Date: 5 Jun 2025)It show seat available in the Trenitalia webpage but I unable to book with EURAIL GLOBAL Pass for only seat reservation. 

If someone could shed a bit of light I would be most appreciated.   I have not activated my pass yet as we are not using until 8 May 2025.   In my trip I have London/Marseille, which is connected to a “mobile Pass” and both bookings have our names on it.   I have also added other trips on various dates that we are going to take which say “Not connected to a mobile pass”, will they be connected to my mobile pass once I activate and I make them into a journey, still trying to work that part out?   I also cannot see the details of those trips that I have created, which makes it hard to know what I have actually booked, if that makes sense.   I have never used once of these passes before.  I am sure someone will know the answer.   Thanks.
