Hello,Currently I'm traveling in Scandinavians countries and I do have 1st class ticket. After a few days I have train from Copenhagen and I'll have to wait a bit in train station. On eurail pass page I found information that I can use DSB lounge free of charge. My question is can I use the lounge to wait there before my train (from Copenhagen will be my first trip).Similar situation I'll have also going from Stockholm. As check out in hotels usually is at 12 I will need to wait around 3h-4h for my first train. Last question about delays. As I mentioned earlier I have train from Stockholm to Bergen - night train, with 2 stops. Looks like there's a lot of time for change, but while I was going to Copenhagen there was many delays and Im a bit worried about that. If my train in any connection will be late and I won't manage for my last connection, what should I do? Next train to Bergen will be around 8am. I'll need to pay extra money for place to sleep and I'll loose 1 of the day from eura
My son and I are both travelling on Eurail passes and we have had to cancel multiple trips due to the strike. How do we get back all the monies paid on the seat reservations. It comes to a few hundred dollars.
I booked the Eurostar from Amsterdam to London. My interrail app (My Trip) says “Not in Pass network”. The trip is within the month of my global pass, I haven’t booked more than 5 travel days and the return trip with the Eurostar (London-Amsterdam) seems no problem. What could be the case??
I’m attending a class in Poland and plan to travel around Europe afterward. Glasgow, Barcelona and Amsterdam seem pretty straight forward.Leipzig, Turin, and Zurich are other cities I’m interested in traveling to, but the map I’m directed to doesn’t have them connecting to the EuroRail line. Does that mean, if I bought a Global Pass I’d have to stop at a different city and then travel to these cities a different way? For example, would I need to arrive in Berlin and then find another method of travel to get to Leipzig?
Hi everyone, I would like to book a ticket for a Nightrain from Oslo to Bergen for the 15th January, but the tickets apparently has to be sent physically and when I enter any adresses (I tire several), it says that the ticket won’t get on time to the location. Has anyone already encountered this problem and give me a tip how to get a ticket? Thank you for your help :-)
It says seat reservations are mandatory. Is this true or can I just hop on. 2nd class Global pass
Hi I am travelling Innsbruck to BolognaI have reserved my seat via obb app. On eurail app it says Not included on italy pass. Supplement required.Do I need to pay a supplement on the train or at Innsbruck station? Or has this been covered in my seat reservation. Thanks
My F1 teens are desperate to overnight in Monaco as our overnight stop from Barcelona to Florence in August (probably Sunday 12th)Would appreciate advice on how feasible it is, given we wouldn’t want to arrive in Monaco too late in the evening and would then want to have time for a morning wander around the F1 course before heading o Florence.
Hi all. Thanks again. I keep seeing various stories of people incurring fines. Usually because of some slight technical issue. Can someone point me to the Eurail info so I can learn more about the rules before I go.Thanks,Peg
Hello, In the eurail webpage it states train from Chur to St. Moritz “Pass not Valid”. Meaning trip not included in eurail global pass But in the OBB app when I put in Chur to St Moritz (with GP ,interrail/eurail pass ) discount it shows trip as free. Could someone tell me if I can count on the OBB app(site) to be correct? Thank you
I’m trying to book Eurostar seat reservations back to UK for the end of our trip. We were hoping to come back from Brussels but there seems to be nothing available at all around the two weeks of 25/8/24. Have all those interrail seats already gone or do we think they’ve not been released yet?
HiWe are doing train travel across Europe from 19 Feb to 9 Mar 24. We have bought Eurail global pass on first class. We will have at least one big suitcase 20-30kg and one carry-on baggage which we need to take with us through the travel. I would like to find out the following:Are there any locker facilities in the rail stations of Brussels, Bern and Zurich where we can keep the luggage temporarily (for few hours) If so, would that be free for those with Eurail global first class pass holders. If not free, what would be the charges. Would the pass holders eligible for any discounts on the fees to keep in the storage. Are locker facilities available in the rail stations of all major cities in EuropeThanks in advanceSudar
I am a travel agent looking for info on train access with using a walker?? Are most train stations platform entrances? Will they take her walker and store it or can she keep it with her?
If I buy the one country pass for Germany, it clearly states that you can cross certain borders to certain towns. For example you can travel from Munich to Innsbruck , or Germany to Venice, Italy. My question is, there is a train that goes from Munich to Innsbruck and I want to get off and walk around site see, and get back on the train 2 hours later and continue to Venice. Since I am technically getting off the train in Innsbruck and walking around will that invalidate the trip to Venice or will I be allowed to use the pass that way??
Hi, I heard about the high possibility of the strike on Jan 8, 2024. Problem is that we have non-refundable tickets from Amsterdam to Frankfurt on Deutch ban on Jan. 8. What would our choices be if the strike goes through? It is imperative that we arrive back in Frankfurt before Jan. 9 as we have a flight back home to the US on the 10th. We looked into buying new tickets on the 7th, but that is more than double the price of what we originally paid for.
Hi, Im planning to interrail this summer. Im from the UK, looking to go: Belgium, norway, germany, austria and switzerland.I just want to clarify if I will need the 7day pass ( to include going from london to belgium , then from switzerland to london) or if the 5day pass will be fine ( as in, will my outbound and inbound journeys included in the ticket?) Also, the trip will be in the summer. Have far in advance would you recommend making train seat reservations? thanks :)
Hi,a short question to the community: I’ll travel with Snälltaget from Munich East to Malmö, starting on Jan 6th very late in the evening at 23:59.I’m using a global Pass (4 days). Anybody there who knows how many days it “costs” to take the train directly to Malmö - arrival 15:35 the next day? Germany is my home country. THX a lot Christoph
I've noticed the Eurail planner warns to arrive early for crossings between the UK/France and back. I don't see the same warnings for other crossings? (FR/Switz, Switz/Italy etc.) What happens with those crossings or on the Night Trains? Realistically, How much time should I plan on?Thanks,Peg
Hello everyone,I triped with interrail in 2019 and I had a paper pass for the trip.At that time I didn’t realize that it was written on the pass “When you’ve finished travelling, please send us this Pass Cover including your Pass and get a gift in return!”I am curious of what it would be but at the same time, I’d like to keep the pass as a souvenir. Anyone knows what the gift is like ? And if they still do this 4 years after my trip is over ? Thanks
Once I have a mobile pass, can it be saved on PDF or equivalent type of file and presented that way? I don’t want to have to pay $10 every time I turn on my phone and wi fi.

We are travelling on a 22 day pass. I'm wondering about jumping on and off at towns on our routes. I know some towns arent listed as possible destinations but might be between cities .Examples:-Strasbourg to Colmar Can we jump off at (or close to) Ribeauville/Riquewihr?-Strasbourg to KoblenzWill we have access between the towns along the Rhine river like Bacharach. Would be able to reach Cochem on the Mosel river?-Interlaken Could we use it do reach Lauterbrunnen , Grindewald or Thun on our way up to Bern?Any tips would be great 😁
