I have my rail pass and I purchased seat reservations and the supplement is included.  To use the pass I am trying to add my journey to the pass on the app.  The journey says seat reservation and supplement required and does not add. The toggle in my trip is grayed out. Can I just select use travel day and board with my seat assignment ticket that I printed?

Hi all First time interrailing here so it is possible I am being stupid but when trying to book our first sleeper train from copenhagen airport to berlin hbf I cannot for the life of me find out where to book a reservation and all I see is this [pictured]. I understand sometimes you need to book this reservation with third parties but none of the suggested ones seem to even have this train listed? Does this simply mean that this train is already fully booked or am I making a mistake? Many thanks 

Hi, I’m trying to plan a trip from Sevilla to Lisbon to Nazare to Porto and then to Bilbao. Then I would find a way to France after Bilbao. None of these trips seem very straight forward and any travel between Portugal and Spain seems difficult. Is there a best way to get to get to Lisbon from Spain either from Sevilla or elsewhere. And is there a recommended route to get from Porto back into Spain? Any help is appreciated. 

Hello,I would like to share my experience with Renfe trains in Spain on the Cádiz - Seville Santa Justa route on October 4, 2024, which my wife, our one-year-old child, and I encountered during our recent holiday. Renfe train departed on time at 7:35 from Cádiz and was supposed to arrive in Seville at 9:08. Due to a train breakdown, we arrived in Seville at around 12:00 by a replacement bus. Of course, such incidents can happen, but unfortunately, this was not just an ordinary trip but part of our journey home, as our flight to Krakow was scheduled to depart from Seville airport at 11:35. Unfortunately, the plane did not wait for us, so we had to arrange accommodation and an alternative flight back to Poland. We incurred unexpected costs for a hotel in Seville, transportation to the hotel, and, of course, another flight home. It’s also worth noting that there was no flight to Krakow, where our car was parked, so we had to travel an additional 500 kilometers from another airport in Pola

I used now my 5th journey from the Interrail EU pass in Switzerland and suddenly the QR code is not shown in the pass anymore. (Android) Is there any problem? I fear the penalties due to not having a valid pass ...

Hello.  We will be first timers using the OBB system.  We purchased tickets for 6 December departing at 7:40 AM from Vienna to Budapest.  The tickets are Sparschiene tickets and are for train number RJX267.  We received notice (below) that there was a change in the timetable and that our ticket is valid, but that we need to check for alternative trains/services.  I checked the alternative services, and it looks like all that changed is that the RJX267 train leaves at 6:40 on 6 December rather than 7:40. Is my understanding correct?  Are we just to arrive earlier at the station and take the RJX267 train which now leaves at 6:40?  Also, we purchased seat reservations when we bought our tickets.  Do those seat reservations remain the same since the train number is the same? Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi i am planning my trip from Germany to Schweiz and then Roma my question is with global pass am I allowed to take all train like in Schweiz city train and bus or just from one country to another?Thanks in advance for helping

I have read in several places that making domestic AVE reservations should now be possible using Eurail online reservations? Is this the case?I have tried several trains (about two weeks in advance) including Barcelona-Madrid, and Madrid-Seville, but nothing shows available.  

Hello railpass experts.I have made my reservations (and got the tickets with bar codes etc from Eurail, Eurostar etc). Now trying to add my journeys from the planner into my rail pass (for start of travel tomorrow) but the app won’t let me slide my journeys from the trip planner to the rail pass because it says that I need reservations (which I have, but it doesn’t know about reservations). Do I just activate a travel day and forget about adding the journeys?The app doesn’t seem to be very useful! Or am I being very stupid?!

Hello, beautiful community.The use case is this: On a sleeper train that arrives the next day, what day does one enter to record the trip on the paper pass?  Day of departure, or arrival?This is on a Global Interrail Pass, 5 days in a month.  I have one day left on it.Thanks!

I have a global pass for 3 months and I’am trying to add it to “my pass” in the interrail app. The app does not accept my coverpass Nbr because it has 8 digits in stead of 6. The app says the number has to match with the number in the order confirmation email but I only find an order payment confirmation in my mailbox where I do not find a 6 digits pass number. How can I resolve this problem

trying to book on GWR-website a seat only reservation (I have a valid global interrail pass) for the night sleeper between London Paddington and Penzance on 7 or 8th October. I made an GWR account but still I do not find the path to book such a reservation. Although I did a lot of seat reservations for Sweden, Danmark, Germany, Austria, Switserland and Italy, I do not find another UK-solution than buying a normal ticket but that is against interrail philosophy and that’s the reason why I’am truying to avoid that. Is here somebody who succeeded in making RECENTLY a ONLINE reservation for that night sleeper on the GWR site of on something else?

I am travelling for the next week around Hungary with a 1st class Eurail pass and will use a number of domestic IC trains (such as Budapest to Pecs and to Debrecen).Am I right that I must have a paid reservation to board these trains?What is the best / cheapest way to book these?I see I can book for close to $6 each through Eurail, likely less through Czech railways. Is it possible to book at ticket desks in Hungary, or even on the train? Many of these trains run frequently and I would like to leave it to the last minute to decide what trains to take (which is part of the point of Eurail….)

Upon clicking on the alternative options, the fastest direct route is now 6 hours. Did I miss something?A couple of questions…Is there a shorter way? Do I just look at the alternatives and accept?Thank you!

Timetable on the rail planner shows ‘not available to passholders’ (doesn't even show the train unless prompted) but train cancelled because booked with a rail pass on Eurail. What does this mean? Many thanks.

Hi. Will I be able to use the Eurail Global Pass from Frankfurt Main train station to Rudesheim Am Rhein? I was checking the DB app and the train line is only showing the VIAS Gmbh operator. Is there any other operator from Frankfurt Main to Rudesheim where I can use the Eurail Global pass? I can’t find any DB and RE train lines. Thank you.

Hello , I would like to ask if I can travel from Athens Greece to Lisbon Portugal via train , using the fastest way( the airline ticket is too costly) Is that possible to go from Athens at Friday and arrive Lisbon on Saturday ? Because I need to bring my kids with me. I see that the kids are free of charge so that I only need to buy 1 adult ticket, right ?

I’ve bought seat reservations from OBB for travel within Italy (Verona to Milan and Milan to Turin). Is it necessary to print the PDF tickets? Or can I just show them on my phone? If anyone has recent experience of this, I’d be grateful for your advice. It would be much easier if I don’t have to print them, but the instructions from OBB clearly say they have to be printed! Hi, we have an unlimited 1 month pass. When we book seats we get a QR code. When do plan a trip and try to generate a code nothing happens. Some inspectors are fine saying the pass is the ticket. Others want to scan a code. Do we need to have a code for every journey? If we do why isn’t one being generated?  Thanks 

I have a 10 days global EU rail pass and i will be travelling from Paris on 27 Dec to Switzerland.  I would like to ride on Glacier Express and / or Bernina express.  I need to be in Rotterdam on 2 Jan late afternoom.  Can someone please give me advice on the route. I am also unsure of the best way to travel from Switzerland to Rotterdam as i have heard that the Nightjet may not be a good option. Please also share tips on how to avoid bookings with a fee.  Many thanks 

I bought a 10 day pass 7 days ago today and realise I only need a 7 day pass. I thought it was 100% refund but just saw that there’s a fee of 15euro per pass? Is that true? Wondering if cheaper to keep 10 day pass and just use a few more days of it on local trains? Thanks 

Definitely bought an InterRail mobile pass but it keeps showing seat reservations in dollars? I’m from the uk.worried it will be costing more but have a Monzo card so maybe doesn’t matter as they don’t charge foreign transaction fees? Thanks!
