Hi I’m new to this interail pass thing,I have purchased a 4 day pass, travelling from Aberdeen to Alicante which uses 2 days of my pass, my question is can I use the remaining 2 days on my pass to return or do I lose them?TIA  

I'm looking at 2 tickets / Siracusa to Bologna (13.35 - 07.07 ); I'm not keen on sharing a 4 berth; and am too old to sit up all night in a couchette the supplement for the Private Sleeper is 125  . . I take it both my husband and I have to pay 125?If that is the case, I’ll look at another route with a hotel stop over 

Now I got 2 tickets( me &my wife ) and took the reservation seats number through rail planner ApI accidently booked  seat separately so My seat is too far from my wifeI'd like to change my seat so that sit togetherHow can I adjust reservation seat number ?

Hi everyone,I’m currently looking into the SJ night train from Stockholm to Narvik. The rail planner shows me to get a one country pass, but I will cross borders as the train travels from Sweden to Norway. Is this valid or should I look into getting two passes (1 Sweden, 1 Norway)?Thanks a lot!

We are active, in our 50s, and know this is a bit of a marathon but looking to see some of each country to then plan future trips back on ones we liked best or traveled through that piqued our interest.Does this route make most sense or what would be best to be switched and where would night trains make the most sense travel from Sept 10-Oct 3looking to go from-to the following cities in the current order London, Brussels, Amsterdam, Munich, Prague, Vienna, Venice Rome, Cinque Terre, Nice, Lucerne, Paris then back to London.  Brussels and Venice were just parital day stop overs.Hoping to use fast trains as much as possible was thinking we need the 22 days pass to make this make the most sense .  Also if going from London to Brussels Sept 12 how soon do we need to book the Eurostar reservation or does it change much if we go straight to Amsterdam?  Was planning to book hotel at next stop day in advance--not looking fancy-- just clean and budget friendly--hoping this is viable at most ne

Hi! Trying to order tickets from Munich to Warsaw. Train leaves at 19:46. I can buy the sleeper one for 100 euro with GlobalPass or for 3 euro make a reservation. Whats the diffrence? Why some might trains are free with pass but anothers are not?

I have booked paris to zurich via the eurail website ,  and i can see the details of the reservation in the eurail app as well. However email from eurail says the eticket needs to printed out and shown at the time of travel. Can't I use the QR code in the eticket on my phone ? Do I need to anything additional on the eurail app  like saving journey and adding ticket manually before boarding the train, checking as I can see comments like that in the forum however was not clear.Also the email said that we need to show the eurail pass to the conductor ,  what do they check the email/order details from eurail when the pass bought which got pass details ?any help this will be much appreciated.

Getting the following message when trying to book train from interlaken to wengen, is eurail global pass not covered to travel between lauterbrunnen and wengen. Am i missing something ? appreciate your help.

I have free time and can travel for up to 2 months, but the number of stops is the main factor in deciding which pass to buy!!!! because on the way back I wanted to visit Lappland and Helsinki.!!!- I am thinking of going between April/May or May/June. I want to go to El Chorro during the first week of October. No timetable appears on the Interail planning app yet. I can see times on trainline and raileurope but I can't tell if any train will allow interrail passes. From Malaga the ticket only seems to be £3.93 so not worried about having to pay extra, although whether this includes a seat reservation, I don't know. (Seat reservations for every single train journey in Spain is really racking up the costs on top of the pass 😢).Can anyone help please? Not knowing is preventing me from planning ahead.Many thanks in anticipation. Jill

Hello,I'm about to go on my first trip to Europe with an interrail pass. Before I even set off, the first problem has already appeared.I booked a seat on the TGV from Munich to Paris for Wednesday the 21st. Booked on raileurope.com The train was supposed to leave at 8:35, so that's what I have on my reservation, but I got an email from SNCF saying that the departure time had been changed to 8:20 and that the ticket would be automatically updated.If I have a seat reservation where the departure time is 8:35, will that reservation still be valid after the change in departure time, or do I have to re-book the seat for the new time?A minor problem is that I can no longer book seats on that 8:20 train online via raileurope.What can I do now? Anyone can help me?

Family of four.We want to cover Copenhagen and Stockholm, and are thinking of adding Oslo to the mix if it’s worth it. Also want to do the Hamburg <> Stockholm sleeper (private couchette)No set dates as yet, and fairly flexible through AugustInitial thoughts are:London > BrusselsBrussels > Stockholm (via Hamburg and sleeper)Stockholm > CopenhagenThen back to London via Brussels (or maybe Amsterdam)or opposite way round: Brussels > Copenhagen > Stockholm > Brussels (via sleeper and Hamburg) Initial investigations suggest the sleeper is not yet up for booking. I also haven’t yet decided on whether to go interrail pass or not, but I suspect in order to get the Eurostar reservations I’ll need to decide this sooner than the sleeper booking opens up so may not really be able to price up properly. Good afternoon!As the title says, everything was going smoothly with the eurail pass until we got to Switzerland. we bought a package for 3 adults that included a cable car from wengen-mannlichen, and a train ticket from kleine scheidegg-wengen with everything being discounted by 50% since we owned the pass and we only showed our activated passes to get the discount (NOT an active travel day). the issue came on the train ride where the ticket lady asked to see our tickets, which we showed, and proceeded to ask for our rail passes. we showed the activated passes but she asked to see the QR code from a travel day which we did not have. she immediately got visibly annoyed and said we have 30 seconds to activate a travel day otherwise she will fine us 270 CHF. since we were very confused, we said the guy we bought the tickets from only needed to see the active pass and she snapped (with very rude attitude) saying "too late you get the fine now"and proceeds to start writing it out. Unfortunately I am not so good in knowing how to go by ferrys. We (family, 2 adults, two children 2, 5) want to go from Munich to the Lofoten, and later on to Great Britain. So our plan is to go on a day train from Munich to Sassnitz or Rostock for a ferry to Sweden. We should arrive there early evening. Which connection would you prefer, from Sassnitz or Rostock for an overnight ferry?(From there, we plan to travel to Stockholm, where we want to take the night train to Narvik, and there with the Bus to the Lofoten. From the Lofoten with a ferry to Bodo, and there with the train to the South.)Next we want to go to Great Britain. I only know two options so far: We go to Brussels and with the Eurostar to London. Or we go to Hook van Holland and from there with a night ferry to England. Is there a third option recommendable? Any hints for the hook van Holland ferry?Thank you very much!

I tried to book the night train from stockholm to Narvik on the Website of vy.When I enter my family (2 adults, 2 children (2 and 5), I only get second class seats as an option. When I miss one child (so only three people), I can book beds. Our youngest (2 year old) does not necessarly need an own bed. How can I book an own compartiment for our family?

I will be travelling soon on a 2-month pass but am likely to get back to my home country (France) well before its expiry date. I understand that I cannot travel any more in France with it, but can I then make my own way to a neighbouring country and continue to travel there as long as the pass remains valid (without of course attempting to return to France using the pass)?The more I think about it, the more it seems possible, unless there is a clause stating that travel must end on return to the home country.

Bonjour, je pensais prendre un train de nuit d'Amsterdam à Bâle le 28 août, mais il semble qu'il ne fonctionne pas. Donc ça devient compliqué pour nous. Notre destination finale est Mulhouse. Hi, i am wanting to travel on a budget next year july-september and id like to know the easiest way to do this. I have been interest in buying the 2 month global pass but i feel like it is a waste if one cant use it in cities to get around. What is the cheapest way to get around cities? And should i rather buy the ticket with travel days. I dont want to spend an awful ton on something i cant use that much.
