Is “Zuerich Hb” the same location as what is known as Zurich in Switzerland, because Eurail calls it “Zuerich Hb”

Why is it such a problem to book Eurail trip between Nice and Milan?  The booking service is have ongoing errors….

Spending 4 days in Switzerland and looking to base ourselves in Lucerne to do as many scenic train trips  as possible.  Coming from Strasbourg/Colmar initially and leaving from Buchs SG - any tips and guides would be appreciated - especially thinking of multi point routes so we can return to base each day if possible.

I want to go from Sofia to Plovdiv today and then take the night train at 00:03 local time from Plovdiv to Varna. I have a pass with 15 travel days within 2 months. Bulgaria uses CET+1. Travel days last from 00:00 to 23:59 CET. So this trip should take one travel day. However the app wants me to use 2 travel days now which is not right with respect to the information given. I already activated one travel day for going from Sofia to Plovdiv. How can I fix this?

Hi, we arrive in Amsterdam, then go to Bruges,  (day trips in Bruxelles/Gietoorn/Gelft). After 4 days, we go from Bruges to Paris.

Good morning. I need to ask a question regarding the tickets for high speed trains. We do have the tickets (with Qr code) in which it is specified that the seat reservation is required, but we were not able to make it for the selected trains. Can we take the train in any case or we need to switch to national trains?Looking forward to hearing from youThank you

Hi, I have a doubt. I need to receive train reservations from Poland (I haven't made them yet). What happens is that I only have the option of sending the tickets directly to the hostel where I stay. Is there an option to receive them at my home (Spain). Reservations would be for August 26. Thank you so much

I am trying to book reservations on the following trains: 1st October: 09:51 Berlin HBF - 15:22 Warszawa Centralna4th October: 11:40 Warszawa Centralna - 13:53 Kraków Główny7th October: 14:03 Kraków Główny - 19:49 Wein Hbf For the first train I am getting a 'prices unavailable' error message. I have tried booking directly on Polish train websites but they can’t send my reservation ticket to my UK address, they can only send it to be picked up at a Polish ticket office but I won't be able to collect that if I am in Berlin. For the other trains, prices are unavailable until 30/60 days before departure. However, I will be on my trip at this point so will not be able to get physical tickets sent to me. Can I book my reservations directly at a German/Austrian or Polish ticket office when I get there? I am just worried that this will be leaving it too late and trains will be full. I am a female solo traveller so would like to have reservations sorted before leaving for my trip as I don't wan

Hi! I am doing an interrail with my cousins, and had a problem with the train due to the weather. We had reserved tickets (via seat reservation policy) from Ljubljana to Zurich for August 4, more specifically from Villach to Salzburg and then from Salzburg to Zurich. We had done the seat reservations on August 3As we were leaving Ljubljana headed to Zurich the 4 of August, at 7h26, we were told after waiting 40min on the train that the latter couldn’t proceed with the journey because of the rain (it had some implications with the railway). Afterwards, we had to wait more than an hour to get a substitution train from Ljubljana to Villach. The problem is that we were late for the next two trains we had to catch, of course. Hence we were not able to reserve seats for those two trains, as they were already booked.  Thus, we could not enjoy the seats we had reserved, and paid for nothing, due to the delay caused regarding the first train from Ljubljana. Therefore, I would like to know if we

When traveling with a first-class interrail ticket in Sweden (with SJ), it seems the first class reservation still costs twice as much as second class. I find this a bit disappointing considering I already paid more for the first-class ticket itself. So this gets even more expensive. Does it really make sense to have a 1st class interrail ticket when traveling Scandinavia? 

Hello, I am planing to take the train from Verona to Venice. To get to mine end destination, after taking the train I need to take a ferry. Can I use my interrail card for the ferry as well on the same travel day? I hope somebody can help me out.:)  Kind regards, Carmen

Hello, I am travelling with a group of friends through Italy in August. One of our planned routes is between the cities of Taranto and Pompei on August 15th. As I checked the timetables on Interrail website for updates recently, it seems there is a disruption on the route. We will have to take a train from Taranto to Potenza, then change there to a bus in direction do Salerno and then take a suburban train from Salerno to Pompei. See the screenshot below. The train/bus codes are: RE 34396, BusPZ446 and SUB21332. I contacted Trenitalia if the Global Pass applies to the bus and suburban train and they were only able to confirm that it does not apply to the suburban train (we will have to buy a full ticket for that - at least it’s only about 4 EUR). So I don’t know any details about the bus: is it a rail replacement bus, or a normal long distance bus? Will we have to make a seat reservation? Has anyone encountered a similar issue? I’ll be really glad to hear any advice from you guys! Than

Good morning! A night jet for which I have booked a seat do not appears on the Rail Planner app.In particular, is the route from Bologna to München on the 8 of August.  How can I resolve this problem? 

Ik wil de nachttrein vanuit Utrecht om 21 01 uur  naar Venetië nemen waarbij ik de volgende ochtend over moet stappen in Zürich om 08.05 uur. In Venetie kom ik dan aan rond 16.00 uur. Mijn vraag is of deze reis als 1 reis beschouwd wordt of als 2 reizen ?  M.a.w. als ik een pas koop waarbij ik gedurende 1 maand 4 reizen mag maken, kan ik dan alleen maar heen en terug naar Venetië of hou ik nog 2 reizen over om bijv. zuidelijker te gaan in Italië. Fijn als ik hierop een eensluidend antwoord krijg want eerlijk gezegd wordt me dat uit de gegeven info over nachttreinen niet helemaal duidelijk.Alvast bedankt voor de te nemen moeite mij te antwoordenRop Bomer  

I have a Eurail pass for myself, my husband and my baby (1 year old). For seat reservations they are including a fare and seat for the baby, although he will be on my lap. How can I change it?

Hi all, I bought two tickets as seats reservation for my friend and I, at once. But my friend will finally not take the same train than me, so I wish to cancel one ticket but not both. Ich habe einen Pass mit 7 Reisetagen in einem Monat und wohne in Deutschland, wenn ich am 6. Reisetag nach Deutschland reinfahre, kann ich am 7. Reisetag noch Züge innerhalb von Deutschland nutzen ? Die Regel mit einmal raus- und einmal reinfahren ins Heimatland kenne ich. 

Looking at buying an interrail pass for a long journey. The eurostar 1st class is all sold out and the rest of the journey will be sleeper, so there’s only part of the journey (Zurich to Wörgl) that I would to take business class.Can I purchase 2nd clas reservations and then buy an upgrade? From 2nd to 1st, then pay the 15 euro supplement for business.The difference in interrail pass classes (£180) is cheaper than buying this ticket separately (£310) so cheaper for me to get the 1st class pass than buying it separately, but if I could have 2nd class and an upgrade, that would be better. 

Hi, Heading to Europe in Jan 2024 and looking at taking the nightjet from Amsterdam to Zurich on Thursday 11th Jan one way. Do you think this route will run this day? How far out in advance will this open to book? Thanks :)

Hello everybody! It’s the first time I am doing Interrail and I am kind of confused about travel day. I want to take a train from Frankfurt to Ljubljana that last 12 hours : it starts at 7:30pm on the 16th and arrives at 8:30am on the 17th with a change at 10:30 on the 16th. Does it count as one travel day or two ?  Thank you very much for your answer! 

Hello! i want to know how to activate the in and out fonction. I have a one country pass to Italy and I live in Switzerland so I just need the ticket to get to Italy for the first day of my travel. It is well written that I can travel in two countries (on the first and last day of my trip). But I cannot get a QR code for the portion in Switzerland. Please help me!! thank you!
