Hi everyone,   I have many questions before I purchase a Eurail pass. I am 21 years old and will be backpacking Europe for 3 months, starting June 29 and ending September 25. I will be traveling to Greece, Italy, Spain, and Portugal. Below I have detailed my itinerary, and I was hoping you could answer my questions after reviewing my travel plans.  My Itinerary: - Fly to Greece on June 29- Greece: Athens>Milos>Athens>Crete- Fly to Catania, Italy- Italy: Catania>Calabria>Bari>Rome>Florence>La Spezia>Bologna>Venice>Milan- Take overnight train to Barcelona, Spain - Spain: Barcelona>Valencia>Granada>Seville>Madrid- Take train to Porto, Portugal - Portugal: Porto>Sintra>Lisbon- I will fly back to the US from Lisbon on September 25 My concerns:I learned that reservations are needed on most train routes in all of these countries.  The ferries are an additional cost and not included in the rail pass.  I will be traveling in the summer, the bus

I am trying to book a Eurostar seat Paris to London for beginning of June but 1.) There is almost no availability for reservations and 2.) I need a paper pass cover number to make a seat reservation. I have a mobile eurail pass, how can I get this pass cover number and make my reservation?

I’m looking for trains Paris Lyon - Milano Porta Garibaldi and Paris Gare du Nord - Brussels Midi. Price of ticket for first route in august is 29€ on SNCF page, while seat reservation for my interrail pass costs 31€. Same situation for second route. On Thalys page ticket for this train costs 29€, while seat reservation in app costs 25€. Is there any way to bypass such big fees?

Hello Everyone! Can someone please help me with the age old question of seat reservations from London->Paris and the return trip?  Family of 4 traveling the end of May.   I am afraid I bought the rail pass and won’t be able to use it due to no seat reservations.  Did I waste my money?    Signed...feeling helpless to understand the system!

Has anyone traveled between Poland and Estonia?  There seems to be conflicting information about trains. We have global eurail passes and want to go to Estonia next week. 

Hello everybody! I’m new to Interrail and wanted to ask some questions about how to plan a trip between Stockholm-Paris! Me and my girlfriend are planning to travel with trains for the first time and as far as I understood we both need to buy passes and then place a reservation on train journeys? Or can we just buy our passes and not worry about reservation at all? What’s the best way to plan the journey? We both are new to this and would definetly appreciate some tips on how to plan this trip the best way! Thank you in advance! :D 

I bought a mobile pass but lots of online reservations only work with paper pass ☹️Sorry, but how odd this is!! I really thought I could arrange everything “mobile” when buying a “mobile” pass. So now I’m looking for the best way to make reservations online / mobile for:England / Spain / Portugal and how much time before must I make a reservation for those countries?  Thank you!  

I would like to use the pass in Croatia, Bosnia and Serbia. Which buses in these countries are included in the interrail pass?

QR code is not showing up again. Also happened last week, and still waiting for support to answer. Could support please reply on Facebook asap, as I’m travelling right now?Want to switch to an old fashioned paper ticket at the next possible station. 

So I got the order confirmation, and everything was fine. I logged in successfully using my pass code, but after a few days it got disconnected and i can no longer log in to the rail planner app using my code. It says that ”something went wrong”. Has anyone had the same problem?

Hi all,  My friend and I have booked a holiday of a lifetime with our two 1st class interrail passes. However, my pass does not work for reservations due to my having a non alphanumeric character in my name.I have tried customer service for a long time, I never get a reply. There are no tickets left for expensive/important parts of our trip with mandatory reservations. We are resorting to flights/buses. The whole purpose of the trip was the 1st class rail travel.  I have tried every other form of contact and am resorting to this because I leave in under 48 hours (on a flight to a city that I have no interest in because it was the only one I could afford to get to the continent).This has been an issue since February.My last name is in the system as O’Connor but the system will not accept the ’ character (right single apostrophe) .Does anyone from interrail read this?Can anybody help?I have tried customer service and the technical desk but I get no replies. Hi there, I have a global eurail 2 month pass and I have activated my ticket and used it for one train ride. However I am trying to book another train ride and I am unable to attach any of the trips to my pass? I have tried doing them as seperate trips however there is no option to attach my my pass to the trip. Please help

Hello ! I am interested in the pass 15 days in 2 months. If I take a train from Paris to Madrid with one connection, does it count as one or two trips ?Thanks for your help ! I tried to call an write to Interrail but I didnt have answers. 

First time here, I am planning to start my schengen trip from Berlin Germany and would like to see the following countries like Switzerland, Austria, Spain, France. Then from France to UK. Anyone who could help me how to get and start by using train. Your help will be great. 

Hi, I booked my return trip, but the day on the pass says today whereas I will be travelling tomorrow. Very strange, as I added it at 4pm with a departure time for 10.30am. I tried to cancel it immediately, but not possible. I contacted interrail via FB messenger and email, but it will take 4 days to get a reply... Anyone having an idea on how to solve this? 

Hello Eurail CommunityAnother issue I am having here. I was planning a trip using the planner from Milan Central Railway Station to Lake Como in Varenna Esino Train Station. Eurail planner keeps saying “not in Pass Network”. I saw in Google Maps there is a RE8 train from Milan to Varenna at 8:30 am. Please help how can I have this trip save and added to my Global Pass. Is eurail databases need updating because I do not personnaly agree that eurail does not have trips going to and from the Lake Como regions in Varenna Esino train station.thanks for any help

 I have a question regarding seat reservations. I am planning to travel from 26-06 untill 07-07 through Scandinavia. For this I bought the interrail global pass. Now I wanted to look to make seat reservations for the trains, but there is not possibility to reserve any seats on the tracks I want. They all show an exclamation mark on the site and when I look on the other site, like for example for Sweden, it says 'not available'.I looked for seats on the track Stockholm to Kopenhagen (29-06), Copenhagen to Gothenburg (02-07) and Gothenburg to Oslo (04-07). I thought everything would be fine as I looked up train times before buying the pass, but now I cannot reserve seats so that would mean I got the pass and booked flights for nothing. Or is this because it is still so far away and will there be seats available later? I would like to know more about this. I hope someone can help me and inform me about this. Thanks in advance.

I am planning on using my eurail pass for some trains within sweden, when I check the eurail planning app it says that seat reservations for my journey are around 3 euros. When I check the SJ website and enter my pass reference, it says the ticket is 50 euros. Any ideas on whats going on here? 

At the beginning of 2021 we bought interrail passes. Unfortunately, our trip could not continue in the summer of 2021 due to the corona restrictions. We were therefore happy that we received an email from interrail on May 6, 2021 that our passes would remain valid until August 2022. Now I want to book trains, but this is refused because the passes seem to be valid until March 2022. Can this validity still be adjusted?

Is it possible to sell my interrail ticket? It is to late to make a refund so I wonder if it is possible to sell it to someone else and change the name. Thank you!

I am unable to activate my pass.I have sent multiple messages to Eurail support and have an email saying they will respond in 48 hours. Still no response and this is so frustrating.

Hallo,ich bin neu hier. Möchte zum ersten mal mit dem Interrail reisen. Dazu will ich für die Schweiz einen 3 Tage Pass für Senioren in Papierform kaufen. Muss ich mit dem Papier trotzdem zum Fahrkartenschalter um eine Fahrkarte und / oder eine Platzkarte zu bekommen? Mein Reisewunsch ist u.a. von Wetzikon über Luzern nach Montreux und zurück. Dabei möchte ich gern im Panoramawagen sitzen. Kann mir vielleicht jemand bei der Planung helfen?Schöne GrüßeAndrea 

Hi!We were planning to travel around Poland soon but somehow it seems impossible to make seat reservations in advance. The Interrail app says its not possible on every connection we planned (for example EC 59 Frankfurt(Oder)-Gdansk Glowny dep. 1345 on may 10), the PKP-website only lets us book reservations including the full fare and also DB cant make reservations online.Does anyone have a recommendation on how we should do this? And if we would book reservations on the train station before departure, aren't we way to late to be guaranteed a seat?
