On https://www.interrail.eu/en/plan-your-trip/tips-and-tricks/trains-europe/railway-companies, for Poland it says this;If I ask the journey planner online (or the app) using this https://www.interrail.eu/en/plan-your-trip/interrail-timetable?ol=OSTROW+WIELKOPOLSKI+%28POLAND%29&ov=005104590&dl=LESZNO+%28POLAND%29&dv=005104260&vl=&vv=&t=1656496800000&ar=false&rt=&tt=&mc=&mct=0 I get this. This train is operated by “Koleje Wielkopolskie Sp. z o.o.” which the web site does not say accepts the pass.Which is correct, the web site or the journey planner?I have a very vague memory that several years ago the pass could not be used on most local trains in Poland - i.e. that the web site is correct and the journey planner (and app) wrong. Thanks in advance.
I am traveling with my kids so I am buying 2 adult passes and getting 2 free passes for my children. But there will be the time that my kids will travel some legs with my other relatives and not with us.How do we go about it? The other adults will have regular train tickets, can I just reserve seat for my kids?
Does it cost me more than one travel day if changing time at station is long and arrive the next day?
Hello!I was wondering if it cost me more then one travel days if I go from one place to another but I finish the train trip the next day? So for example if I take the train today (Monday) from Heidelberg (Germany) to Bern (Switzerland). And I start the train journey at 11 PM and I arrive the next day around 5 AM due to the long changing time at a station, does it cost me more then one travel days?
I have booked a camping in Mataró, which is about an hour away from the city center of Barcelona. The best way to get there is by Rodalies de Catalunya, which I figure is sort of a regional train. However, on the Interrail-website, I can't find connections. Therefore, I am wondering if Interrail is valid on these trains or that I need to buy seperate tickets.
Hello all, I have been trying to find an answer to this but it is honestly too confusing.I will try to keep it short: I have the 7 days within 1 month pass.I want to travel from Stockholm (home) to Berlin. In the rail planner I can take the train from Stockholm at 17 on a thursday, but I will have to change trains in Germany the next day (friday) before finally arriving in Berlin in the morning. Will this then deduct 2 travel days or 1 because I had to change trains on friday?
Hi.I'm currently traveling and have an urgent issue. My phone's screen has broken, and the QR code can't be read. I urgently need to move my pass to another device today because I have a train to catch tonight. Is it possible to get help with this quickly? Big thanks!
Hi there, I’m trying make reservations for french TGV travel in August for a group of family and friends. The Eurail booking system says there is no availability. The B Travel website is showing availability though. The B-Travel website is asking for a pass cover number which I don’t have as we all have mobile passes. Can you provide these numbers please? I’ve submitted an contact form via the website but have not heard back. Thanks
Hello interrail, I have accidentally used two of my travel days even though I only ordered my interrail mobile pass today and haven’t used/travelled at all. I think I have accidentally checked my travel day twice, because of how unclear the mobile app is, and because of that, I lost two of my travel days out of my 10 day travel pass (see screenshot). Is there a way to reset my pass so I can have the full ten days back? Please contact me for more information or instructions. Regards,Kas Weterings
Hi, my name is Victoria. I bought a three months Global Pass for 50 % discount but I am now unable to fully use it. Therefore I wish to exchange it for a “4 days within 1 month” Global Pass.On the interrail page it says, that normal exchange and refund rules might not apply to tickets bought on sale. Has anybody had any experience with this or could anyone tell me if exchanges just work normally (full reimbursement minus 15 € exchange fee)?Best regards,Victoria
Hello, first time Europe and rail traveler so pardon my limited knowledge I am continuing to search the website 5 of us traveling from London>Paris >Bern>Milan over the course of 7 days. It appears that the Eurail Global Pass will be the best option. During those days we have some side trips that we’d like to do. For instance. We’d like to travel to Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland for the day. Are the trains that are off the main line included in the cost or will they be extra. Thank you very much.
I hold a valid Eurail pass, and I am looking to do boat rides in Switzerland (in particular Lake Lucerne and Lake Geneva).Couple of queries regarding 50% discount on these lakes -How to avail this 50% discount? Is it only via in-person booking where I need to show my eurail pass to get discount? Is there any way to avail this discount while purchasing ticket online? Currently I only see reduction option for Swiss half fare card and not for the Eurail Pass while online booking. If I use this 50% discount, does it count in one of my travel dates validity?
Hello All,I would like to travel with my younger sister (she is a little older than 15 years old) via interrail/eurail. She has a valid Schengen visa but originally lives in Istanbul, Turkey. I live with a residence permit in Germany (I am older than 18 years old). So I have a couple of questions: Can my sister travel with me? Does she need any additional document? If there is any web link from interrail that explains the rules for the minors, I really appreciate it if you could share? Per my understanding. I will be getting an interrail ticket for me, and one eurail ticket for her. Am I correct? And in that case will we still able to travel with the same trains?
Hi there, Ive read many threads on this website and am struggling to book a TGV/intercite de Nuit from Paris to nice on the 10th of July. I haven't managed to find any overnight trains to my disappointment, and no TGV in the daytime on the 11th on the interrail reservation service. I have read in another thread that the ‘check back later’ error message means that all 10 euro trains have sold out, and 20 euro trains are available for purchase on other providers, such as B Europe. I wanted to know, is there any way for me to book that intercity de Nuit train, or if not a way to book the TGV without the pass cover number, or how to request the pass cover number. Many thanks in advance,Alexandra
Hi. I live with my family in the UK, but when I need to put “Country of Residence” into the “Traveller Details” dropbox, there is no “UK” listed. I am resident in the UK so I thought the Eurail pass was open to residents of the UK?? PS I am a UK citizen. My wife and children are Belgian citizens, but they are also resident in the UK.
