I bought my 4 day travel pass on December 6th. I intend to use it January 1, 3, 6, and 9. It states that I can use it within one month. Can I use it one month within purchase date or one month within the first travel day? 

Hello. I have a first global pass. I want to reserve a seat from Lyon Francce to Tolulouse Matabiu. I have tried throug snfc and trainline, but both include the cost of the tiket, but I need only the seat. Could someone give me an advice ? Thanks

My son is planning to purchase both of our flexi rail passes and make journey bookings, all on his device. How will I gain entry to trains, and what can I show inspectors? 

If we travel from London to Selhurst on Eurail Pass, do we need to book the train or just hop on?

Hello everybody,I am new in the community and first time in Interrail. I got the first class Global Pass, but in my reservation for 20 december I have to pay 8 Euros from München to Zürich. But I have seen, if I have the second class Global Pass I have to pay also 8 Euros. So, there is no difference. is this normal ?and If I do not reserve a seat, may I take a seat in the first class and the meals, or shoud I reserve ?Many thanksHola a todos,soy nuevo en la comunidad y primera vez en Interrail. Can I buy a pass months in advance

I am planning my trip to Europe after 14th December 2025 (the second Sunday). I need to reserve seats on some trains, but I can’t find any trains after that date. When will the new timetable be updated, and when will I be able to make reservations?

I paid for a seat yesterday.However, I was notified that the purchase was too late, but the money was still deducted EUR22When I arrived at the station, the staff asked me to pay EUR20 for a seat. 

Hi, I have booked a train from Vienna to Krakow through OBB website, with Global Pass discount and paid for the seat reservations. Trouble I am having is that the train I booked through OBB (depart Vienna 1210 on 18th December) isn't showing in the rail planner app.My question is how/what do I need to do to ensure I am able to board the train and add it to my Eurail Pass?Thanks, 

Hello 👋,I’m planning a trip to Poland this summer and one of my train is provided by die Länderbahn which is a train company but I can’t find if the train is included in the global pass or not. Can someone help me please ? 

Hello everyone, just now I was trying to book seat reservation for a train from London to Edinburgh in July. The system didn’t show any availability because July is still too far away. So I tested with an earlier date just to see how the reservation system works. I put in a random date and followed the steps by selecting a random train and a random seat type. (I didn’t really understand the differences among all the seat types) Then I clicked continue, the next thing it shows my booking is completed, and it also says on the page “you can’t amend or refund this booking”. I couldn’t find any options to cancel or delete this order as it was only for a test. Does anyone know what I can do in this situation?Thank you in advance.🙏

How to Purchase A Single Night Sleeper in advance with Eurail Pass (1st Class)

Hi!So, I just had a run-in with an inspector on the Deutsche Bahn which has resulted in a fine being sent to my home.I live in Germany but I'm from the UK. Recently I had to travel to the UK twice in quick succession and did the "in between" bit by Interrail, like this:- Day 1: UK- Day 2: UK -> Germany (inbound)- Day 3: Germany -> border (outbound)- Day 4: Belgium -> UKToday is day 3. The inspector told me with total confidence that I could not use my outbound journey after my inbound journey and has therefore sent a charge to my home for a ticket today. I showed him the Interrail T&Cs but he refused to accept that.I think I already know that he is wrong and so I think I should be able to appeal this. The Interrail site is pretty clear. But it's a lot of money and I'd like some peace of mind. So here are my questions:- Am I definitely in the right?- How do I go about appealing this charge?- Can

J'ai acheté unPass Interrail Global Plus Senior Classe 2 pour mon papa. Mon papa est résident français et de nationalité française.Nous avons téléchargé l'application. Nous avons ajouté le pass à l'application et entré le numéro de carte d'identité.Nous avons associé un voyage à notre pass. Au moment de réserver les places assises, nous n'avons eu que l'option eurail. Pas d'option interail.Mon père étant français et résident en France, nous devrions avoir l'option interail.Que puis-je faire ?

Hello everyone, I hope this question has not been asked too many times - if so, I cannot find it :// My first travel day will be December 4th. From what I have read, I then have to activate my pass tomorrow, December 3rd. I have a 1-month, 5 travel day mobile pass. I have reserved seats for my last trip for January 3rd. Now I am panicking that my pass might only be valid until January 2nd, since I already activate it on December 3rd. Can anyone help me out here with telling me what my last day is? Thank you Interrail experts <3

Hi All,I and my spouse are planning a Europe trip for about 12 days covering Switzerland (6 days), Paris (3 day) and Amsterdam (2 days) with trains as primary mode of transport I am confused between which pass to buy does Euro global pass give discounts in Swiss and should it be active example I take a 4 day pass in 15 days can I keep 4 days days for Paris and Amsterdam or do I need to activate pass for days in Switzerland as well. Also outside of Switzerland bulk of the journey will be between Amsterdam - Zurich and Zurich - Paris does it make sense to buy a Euro Pass?Best Regards,Prasanna

Which is the genuine Interail or Interrail ?

Hi,I’ve just ordered two paper passes. I have an order number starting with IN, am I able to start booking seat reservations where the cover number is required if so where can I find the cover numbers?

Next month I wish to do a part of my interrail through Poland. Suddenly, by reading online and looking at the booking tool on the interrail app I realised there are some major issues in boking trains inside and in/outbound the country. Can I ask if someone with more experience with the Polish Railway system an its booking mechanism can give me a hand to figure out if it is worth it to use my pass for Poland?

Hi,I’ve used an incorrect pass cover number to book Eurostar and TGV lyria reservations. We have paper passes, will this be ok or will I need to contact someone to try and change the reservations?

I plan to travel from Sweden to Switzerland in mid December using my Interrail pass and - as I currently don’t have a GA/Half fare card - use one of my three I/O-days to reach my hometown near Lucerne. As I arrive in Basel from Hamburg by night train, I will arrive at home hopefully in the late morning.  So far so easy.Now I have the idea to make a round trip to Bern for visiting some friends in the evening of the same day. According to numerous posts here in the community, I can use my Interrail also for those trips.SBB, on the other hand, clearly states on their website, that I may use the I/O days only for travelling once to and once from the boarder stations or the airports.

I bought an Interrail Pass a couple of days ago and after that I booked the mandatory reservation for the Eurostar to London. Now I would like to exchange my Interrail Pass (from 4 days to 5 days). My question is: Will my Eurostar reservation still be valid for the new Interrail Pass although I had to enter the pass number during the reservation process and the new Interrail Pass will have a different pass number? (I am talking about the Interrail pass number, not my passport number!) My new Interrail Pass will of course be valid on the day I made the reservation for and it will still be a Global Pass, 2nd class, like the previous one. Thanks for your help.

Hello, I am currently planning my first trip to Istanbul. From Istanbul, I would like to follow the itinerary recommended by the Interrail website at this link (departing from Istanbul to Paris): https://www.interrail.eu/fr/plan-your-trip/trip-ideas/recommended-routes/classic-routes/london-istanbul-train-route However, I can't find any recent articles confirming that I will be able to travel from Istanbul to Sofia and then from Sofia to Craiova in March. Can anyone confirm that these connections exist? If so, which European cities can be reached from Istanbul? Thank you very much in advance for your help !
