Is the reservation for the IC from Kopenhagen to Hamburg on June 23d at 23:54 mandatory? The interrail app says no, the Deutsche Bahn app says yes for the journey from Padborg to Flensburg. And if yes - where can I geht the reservation? The Deutsche Bahn app tells me everytime that an error occurred.Thank you!

Hello :)I have a question! In July i will travel to Hungary by interrail (i have the 30 days pass). In August i will travel to Italy by interrail. In between this 2 trips i plan to go back to my country of residence (Netherlands). I know you only have 2 days traveling in you country of residence. But what have i got to do when i travel to Italy?For example: i use my 2 days traveling in my home country with my trip to Hungary.We will take the Thalys in the Netherlands to Paris. We already made an reservation for the thalys and paid money. So what i don’t understand = Do i have to buy an extra ticket thats valid in the Netherlands: from the station we get on the Thalys (Rotterdam), to the first station accros the border in Belgium? Or does this qualify as being part of the interrail because its on the international traject? And if the anwser is yes on buying an ticket, then on the way home we have to buy an ticket from the last trainstation thats outside the border of the Netherlands to

Hey, I am studying abroad next to my home country and got a two months interrail ticket. I am aware that there is the inbound/outbound rule but I don’t find anything about if this counts for all tickets (even for those where you could technically travel ever day). Does this rule apply for all interrail tickets or only for these where you have limited travel days? Can I travel to my home country from my student residency as often as I want?  Thanks in advance!

Hello! I’m originally from Germany and I’m planning to go from Poland to Amsterdam on my route. Thus I have to travel through my own country in order to get there. Is my pass still valid after travelling through Germany? Thanks for the answers :))

Hello,I took a global pass in mobile format, however countries are not on Rail Planner so for example when I travel to Estonia on a regional train how do I justify that I have an inetrrail pass and that this trip is included in the pass ?

Hi!I am Rama from India. I purchased 2 EURORAIL GLOBAL PASSES  in Dec, 2019 initially valid till Nov,2020 from Rail Europe but could not travel due Covid-19. The passes were automatically extended till Nov, 2021 but I am still unable to travel due to Covid situation. I want to extend the validity of the passes till June, 2022. I tried to send the request for extension to Rail Europe Customer Support on 22nd Aug, 21, but the email bounced back. I sent the request to Eurail on 22nd Aug. Eurail acknowledged the mail and assured to reply within 4 days. On the 4th day, Eurail wrote me seeking more time to address my issue of extension. Eurail informed on 12th Sept. that i should request to Rail Europe through ‘Contact Form’ for my request. The ‘Contact Form’ does not have any item for extension of the validity of the passes.I do not know how to request Rail Europe for this cause.Please advise 

I want to know if there is availability for reservations for 7 on the Eurostar London to Paris on June 27….  If there is no reservation availability it doesn’t make sense to purchase the Eurail pass. It’s unfortunate you can’t find this info prior to purchasing!  Can anyone help me out?  

Hi, I’m new to the interrail community. This summer my friend and I will be interrailing for the first time. We are leaving on the 24th of july and just started booking tickets. However, there are a lot of trains that need seat reservations. When I try to make a seat reservation online for the 25th of july, it says that there are no tickets left and when I click on extra information it says that you can only reserve seats 60 days before the travel date and earlier. Unfortunately we are now at 54 days before the travel date and it seems that we can’t make a seat reservation anymore trough the website of interrail. Does anyone now in what other way I can make a seat reservation for me and my friend? For now, it is for the train from Berlin HBF tot Krakow Glowny on the 25th of july, that depards at 10:39 am. Thank you for your help!

I downloaded the App on my phone - App then asked me to create a trip, thought i needed to add each leg of the trip as “My Trip” but have since learned that i don’t (ie. Paris to Colmar) I created a new trip for our overall trip (Europe 22) however the app won’t let me add my passes to the Europe22 trip only asks for a paper pass number and we have the electronic pass and doesnt accept our electronic pass number.  I also can’t delete the previous individual trips (Paris to Colmar) where our passes are attached.  We don’t travel until August 2022 - is there a way I can:Delete the inidividual trips where our passes are attached without it deleting my pass? No tickets have been booked here How do i attach our passes to the Europe22 trip i createdThank you so much for any assistance

Hi everyone!I have a question. This summer I will be traveling around Europe. But I’m having trouble with booking my seat reservation. I want to book this for Barcelona-Madrid (on July 16th) and  Madrid-Barcelona (on July 19th). What I’ve tried already:Booking via the interrail website itself. This doesn’t work, I get a notification that says ‘Not available from Interrail.eu’ Booking via OBB. This also doesn’t work. It says ‘Angebotsfehler’. (So basically error) Booking via Renfe. If you want to book via Renfe you need to create an account. When creating this account you need to fill in your ‘documento de identidad’. You can choose between DNI or NIE (which I think only Spanish people have) or Pasaporte. We don’t have a passport, we only have Belgian ID’s. We tried entering our id number but it says this is not valid Emailing Renfe. After this problem, we emailed Renfe. They said we needed to book with Interrail Rail Planner. Which we have already tried..Does anyone know how else I can

Hi , looking at the trains and there’s a few that doesn’t have anything beside it on the app as if you can’t book it , does anyone know if you can still just turn up and get on them ? It would be the first one there ? Any info would be great thanks  

I need a Pass Cover number for me and my partner in order to book through travel.b-europe but do not have one on our mobile passes.Hoping for a quick resolution as the prices on reservations continue to increase and there are 0 trips for this route that do not require reservations through the external site that is given to us by Eurail.

Hello, the railplanner app doesnt let her save a journey. It disappears every time

Attempting to reserve 1st class tickets from:July 4th 13:42 - Frankfort Airport to Amsterdam Centraal (ICE124)July 6th 12:38 - Amsterdam Centraal to Cologne (ICE 125) July 7th 08:16 - Cologne to Berlin (ICE 824 & ICE 545)July 9th 13:15 - Berlin to Prague (EC175)July 11th 11:56 - Prague to Vienna (RJ79)July 13th 09:02 - Vienna to Salzburg (RJ596)July 15th 10:56 - Salzburg to Munich (EC262)July 17th 09:55 - Munich to Nuremburg (ICE800)July 18th 14:34 - Nuremburg to Frankfort (ICE624)I have purchased a Global Pass and yet have been unable to make and pay for the reservations listed above.  The Proceed to Payment button is grayed out and will not respond.  What do I do now, wait until I arrive and take my chances to make reservations at the station?  The app is poorly written and unintuitive if one can’t make reservations and not tell you why.   

My friend and I are travelling to Italy on July 11th, and we are going to take the Munich-Bologna-route in order to get to Rome. The problem is, that every seat seems to be booked. Does anyone else have this problem? And what is the worst thing that can happen if we go on the train without reservations (sit in the train hallway)?

In the DiscoverEU app there is a Start by setting a password button and even though I push it and ask for my password, no confirmation email will come to my email address nor a password for me
