Travelling by night

Hello,I was wondering if it counts as two days, when you travel in the evening and at night by train. For instance, we want to depart at 09:00 PM and arrive 07:00 AM. This is within 24 hours, so does this count as one or two days of travelling, because it's not a night train.

Inbound trip with night train. How do I add this correctly in the app?

Hello, I am currently on my first Interrail journey and I have a question about my inbound trip to get back home (Germany) at the end. My trip to Germany contains a night train, starting in the evening in Venezia Mestre to München HBf, which crosses the border at around 5 in the next morning. Then I need to take two more trains in Germany to get home. In the Forum here, I found that the night train still counts toward the day it starts, but I need the Inbound travel day on the next day so that I can use the trains in my home country.How can I declare this correctly in the Rail planner app?  Thank you :)

Seat reservations

Hi,Next sunday I want to take the TGV from Brussels to Lyon, but  I can’t make a seat reservation through the rail planner app or the website. Am I on time if I book this at the trainstation? I want to be sure that I will have a seat :) Thank you !

Extension of pass due to german strikes?

Hi,I was planning on several days of train travel and got really unlucky as it was the same days as the recent German train strikes! I’d like to if possible extend my pass by a couple days or at least one, as all my travel plans got pushed back and now I would have to pay for the last days of my trip. I contacted Twitter and got a quick response but they didn’t quite get it, I didn’t need extra trip vouchers but rather an extension of the last date I can use a pass on.  it would be really great to get an answer on how likely this is before Sunday because otherwise I cannot plan.  Does the community think this is a realistic/reasonable request or should I give up and ‘eat the loss’?  Thanks, cheers!

Part of trip not showing up on ticket

So im going from brussels to örnsköldsvik. But my last train from Stockholm central to örnsköldsvik does not show up on my ticket eventhough it says its added to the ticket. Please help, im leaving tomorrow.

Show ticket?

We are traveling with Global Pass. It’s activated and a journey connected. Starting next monday. Green on each part of the journey. But where is the Show ticket button? Will it not appear before the day of travelling?

[URGENT]e ticket missing in the reservation email, travel tomoz

Hi folks,I know this is a known issue. I booked my reservation thru the self service. While I received the confirmation email, there's no eTicket attached. I'm traveling tomorrow so this is kinda urgent. I wonder if there's a easy way to contact the customer service or community manager. They claim to get back to me in 7 days. Cheers! Yichen

Wrong travel day

Hey! I need help relly urgently. I put in a trip on the wrong day into my interrail pass. Now I can not cancel it anymore. I can prove that I did not travel that day. Interrail does not respond to my E Mails and at the train station they can not help me. What can I do?Kind regards,Julia

Getting in contact with Eurail

Does anybody know how to get on the phone with someone at Eurail?  A week before the deadline I requested an extension for my passes that were meant to be used summer 2020, and I haven’t heard back from anyone other than the automated message saying they would try to respond in 4 days.  I’m getting a little worried about the status of my tickets and would like to have someone tell me what’s going to happen.

Whole itinerary

I found the trip I want for Catania to Napoli, but when i look at my ticket email it only has the locations in which I purchased reservations for in addition to my Eurail Pass. How do I get my whole itinerary for the entire trip?

Refund too late?

Hi!I have bought two Interrail Passes for 8 days within a month for Italy only, starting date august.As I did this in december, i planned august for our journey. Unfortunately i didn’t get vacation from my company in august, only for september. I now planned my trip for september, forgetting that on the paper tickets, there is a starting and ending date (in my case august). The starting date was the 5th of august and i now want to swap the tickets from august to september. What i read from the website is that this is not possible, after the starting date has passed. My question now is can i get a refund, even though the starting date has already happened a week ago? Thanks in advance for answering! Best regardsAnita

Hello,I want to go from Sweden to Hamburg (Germany), then Den Haag (Netherlands) and then back to Germany. Is it possible with the 4 day Interrail pass or can’t I go to Germany twice? (I’m from Germany). Thanks in advance!

Global Pass Unlimited ?!

Hi everyone, I need your help.I bought a 2 months unlimited global pass.In the description it says “Travel on as many trains as you like for 2 months straight”.Does that mean that in one day I can also go in two directions for example from city 1 to city 2 and back ? Or go in one direction but get off the train for a stop and hop back on a few hours later?

Catania to Naples

I have a Eurail pass booked for October for Italy. I fly into Catania. Will I be able to travel to Naples easily from Catania by Eurail? It appears on your maps that the route is offered but I want to be sure before I make further travel bookings.

issue with re-activating the mobile pass on the same phone

hi,  I had my mobile pass succesfully activated on my phone.Later I needed to re-install the rail planner app on the same phone. This was no problem. However when trying to re- activate my mobile pass on the (same) phone I received a message that the pass wasalready activated on another device.  result is that I cannot travel.  please advise

Can't add Mobile Pass

I'm planning to start my journey on Sunday, but I have a problem with my mobile pass. I just removed all my mobile's data and reinstalled the Rail Planner app. Now, when I add my pass, it says that the pass was added into another device. But actually, it is still the same device. What should I do?

Night train ticket inspection mobile pass

Hi all!Next week I'm going to travel Eastern Europe for a couple of weeks. Some of them, for instance Budapest to Bucharest will be night trains. I've interrailled before, but never with a mobile pass. So I was wondering, how does ticket inspection with a mobile pass during night trains work? Normally you give your paper pass to the inspector, but I hope you don't have to give your mobile phone to them,  anybody has experience with this? 😉 Thank you very much in advance!

Ticket refund

I have until 1 September 2021 to obtain ticket refund for a trip which should have started 16/06/20. I have asked Interrail for the procedure but they cannot reply for 7 days due to demand which will take me past 1 September. Any advice please? John Anderson

Seat reservation cant be made?

Hi!i am travelling from Paris to pula using a eurail pass leaving tomorrow, and the only seat reservation I have been able to make is for the first train, Paris to muenchen. For the others is gives me an error message saying seats cannot be reserved online less than six days before departure because they only offer paper tickets, and to try at a train station. I went to a station in Paris but they said they can’t do it there and I will have to make my reservations in the country of travel. But my connections in between trains are only 8 minutes so I feel like that’s barely enough time to get to my train, let alone make a reservation? I’ve tried to contact many customer service options but never hear back, thank you so much!!!!!

Hello everyone,I am planning to go from Hamburg to Copenhagen tomorrow morning and I need to book a reservation. Does anyone know if it is really necessary to print the ticket or does it depend on the train/country?If so, does anyone happen to know wether I need to print the ticket for this specific route?Thanks in advance :)
