Hello,I would like to travel to Portugal with the Interrail Global Pass in the next few days. Now I have read that in Portugal you cannot reserve a seat online, but only directly at the train station. Hence my question: How early do I have to reserve the seats? Is it enough if I reserve the seats a few minutes before departure? Of course, I don't want to go to the train station hours earlier. I am aware that I risk that there are no more places available. I'm more concerned with the technical aspect.Help is very much appreciated.Best wishes 

Hi!I am sitting at home in CapeVerde and plann ing to see my family in Stockholm area. I have a dog i would like to join me in both directions. I am planning to fly from Sal to Lissabon and then go by train to Stockholm. Any extra charges for the dog?

In order to make a train reservation via the internet website, I need to add a traveller but I don't have the pass cover number which is asked. Even when I enter my mobile pass number, I can't add a traveller to the trip.I won a mobile pass in an internet contest and the only thing I was given was the mobile pass reference. Since I never created an interrail account to buy the pass, my rail planner app and my account are not linked together. I’m supposed to leave next week I feel a bit desperate.Also the support does not answer on fb or twitter (I know they are busy, but I can’t make it work on my own).

I added both mine and my boyfriends pass to a trip on my Interrail account so we could book seats next to each other. When I try to make the seat reservations it says ‘NOT AVAILABLE’ however if we try to book separately there are seats available with ‘high availability’. What am I doing wrong? Please help

Hello everyone, is it normal that I don't need a reservation for this ferry? I thought all ferries required a reservation. Also does anyone know this company? Will I get an inside cabin to sleep in? Will there be a window? Will I share the cabin with anyone?Thanks guys for your answers!  

Bonjour, En vue de la situation sanitaire en Europe, je pense sérieusement annulé mon voyage interail prévu pour aout avec mon conjoint. Nous devons aller en Belgique Allemagne, Slovaquie, Hongrie, République Tchèque, Autriche et Suisse. D’autre sont dans mon cas ? Je n’ai pas encore réservé de train donc mon pass sera toujours utilisable l’année prochaine en sachant que je l’ai acheté en janvier dernier ? Nous avons juste prévu le voyage sur l’application. J’avais reçu un mail disant que nos pass étaient prolongés d’une année.  Merci beaucoup pour votre aide et vos avis ! 

Hi All!I just attempted to make the reservation for the Eurocity between Venice and Innsburck. First I tried the OeBB website, everything went pretty smooth, I was going to be charged €10 but it did not include a seat reservation, I would have to pay €3 extra for that, but I thought the initial €10 included the seat reservation. Also the website allows you an "upgrade” to first class for €5, but is this possible if you hold a 2nd class pass? I suppose not.Since I was unsure about paying the fees on the OeBB website, I tried directly with the Interrail reservation system. So I entered the connection info, and it said that for that route the price was €0 and I only had to pay €4 for the booking fee so now I am really confused.  I'd appreciate any answers and tips you can provide, thanks!

I made 3 reservation but for the same 3 Ihave got the same messageAlthough your payment went through, there seems to be a technical glitch at the moment which means that part of the order could not be confirmed with the train carrier

If I have a physical pass, how do I make a seat reservation on high speed Italian trains with a Eurail Global pass?

In the mobile app planner I searched for trains between St. Moritz and Zermatt Switzerland. Several are listed but the Glacier Express is not identified by name. How can I differentiate the Glacier Express from others on this route? thanks

Hallo :))Wir sind gerade dabei unsere Interrailreise fertig zu planen und verstehen nun nicht ganz wie wir Reservationen machen können. Auf den Internetseiten der Bahngesellschaften konnten wir nicht nur die Reservierung buchen und mit der Interrail-app waren wir überfordert. Hat jemand einen Tipp für uns? In der Interrailapp werden auch nicht alle Verbindungen angezeigt, ich habe irgendwo gelesen, dass man die fehlenden Verbindungen selbst hinzufügen kann… weiss jemand wie? Herzlichen Dank!!

Hi, I’m planning my trip through Europe e and I hope you could help me with some doubts I have.I will go from Italy to Monaco and then to Berlin. After this I would like to move to the Iberian Peninsula. I would like to use a flight to get from Berlin to Barcelona and then use the rest of my pass over there.However I cannot understand if this would create problems in the travel plan in the Rail planner app (I will use an online pass), considering that there would be a "gap" in the journey.Would someone who has not exclusively used the pass to get around during their trip be able to help me with this?Thanks

Hello, me and my girlfriend bought global interrail pass since we plan to go to norway on august. We have allready plan severals stop to differents cities in Europe but when we search on the app a train to go from Göteborg in Sweden to Oslo in Norway on the 13 or 14 of august, it say that there is no trains, so we would like to know if there anythings wrong on this line. Existe otra manera de que puedan verificar mi ticket? (esta vez nos dejaron subir, pero tengo miedo de que tengamos problemas en otros lugares ya que nuestro viaje es por 3 meses)2. Cuándo me aparecerá el ticket del próximo tren que tomaré? (aún me muestra el ticket del tren que ya tomé) Gracias de antemano! 

Can I cancel my Pass if new limitations are set because of covid-19?Can I get my money back then? 

Hello! In the coming weeks, me and my husband will be travelling Italy via public transport. We are looking to buy an Interrail pass, but are confused as to which trains we will be allowed to take with this pass. Are we only allowed to take the trains operated by Trenitalia, or also local trains operated by Ente Autonomo Volturno, for example? We would love to know soon, as we will be travelling tomorrow. We bought First Class flexible mobile pass with 7 days of travel within a month.  Many things are going wrong with trying to use the Rail Planner app. I can seek out a route, add it to trips as a journey, but when I try to connect it to a travel day in my Pass, iI can’t connect the trips to the mobile pass. And when I try to connect a journey, it only gives me the option of a paper pass.  Other weird things are going wrong, too.  I activated the pass on the first day of desired travel, but it won’t let me add the journey to the first day, and counts that first trip as using two travel days, even though I have repeatedly erased the trip and started from scatch again!  I have wasted hours already trying to get the app to work.  We were able to make a reservation for a high speed train (paying extra), and did it through Eurail, but it isn’t added to our passes as a travel day and I can’t figure out how to do it.  We travel soon, and I really wish I had a paper Eurail pass instead of this

Hi, I’ve introduced my mobile Pass in the Rail Planner app and added all my trips to it a few days ago, but it doesn’t show everytime I open my app.I tried reintroducing my mobile pass code and it says I already have my pass on my phone even tho it doesn’t show it.My trip starts tomorrow and I am afraid my pass won’t show and I won’t be able to get on the trains or show it to controller when I have to.Does anyone else have this issue or knows how to fix it?(my app is updated)

Hello, I wanted to choose my validity pass in the Interrail website (which is 6 days within a month), but this option is not availablle. The closest options are 5 & 7 days within a month and 6 days within 2 months.  What should I choose? Will it be a problem if I choose the wrong validity ?

@Nanja  Hallo,Ik lees heel veel over problemen met de mobiele pas.Graag wil ik je dan ook vragen of jullie een actie doen waardoor je je mobiele pas kan omruilen, GRATIS, voor een papieren pas? Het kan toch niet de bedoeling zijn dat je stress moet hebben bij het gebruik van jullie mobiele pas ?

I want to make a reservation for some connections (specifically TGV in France) in about a month for myself and some friends. However I seem to be unable to do so.I can make a reservation for only myself, but as soon as more than one person is part of the trip it shows “NOT AVAILABLE” for every single connection (even though before it said that there are still many seats available). This is the case both for reservations for TGVs in France as well as high speed trains in Italy (which I tried as a test).Does anyone know what the problem is or - even better - how to circumvent this?

Hi everyone, i need some help with reservations for me and a friend for trains in Norway, I added my friends to my trip with their Mail and their order number. We all have the mobile pass, however when I want to make a reservation, the prices are unavailable. Since we have a really long trip we would like to sit together.I have already contacted customer service via Facebook and the email address has not yet received a response.Thank you for you help!
