Eurail & Interrail Passes

Hello! I have a question about a global pass. On a travel day how much of a detour can I take from one destination to another? For example: I want to travel from The Hague to Rotterdam, can I take a detour through Amsterdam? Thank you for your answer in advance.

Hi,I got an Italy pass to go to Rome from Amsterdam. When planning my trip in the app, it says some of the countries we would be traveling through/via, are not included in the pass. It does not say which countries and how to fix this. Does anybody know what to do?Kind regards,Martijn

I tried to register our trip and passes. For both me and my husband, it says “invalid pass cover no.”  On line, it says that the expiration date is extended (original one; November, 2020; now should be November, 2021.) What do I do?

Want to purchase the Global Pass for 5 days in one month to visit 4 countries.  We arrive 27/07/22 and depart 08/08/22, which extends into August.   Do I have to purchase the “Two Months” pass?  

Hallo, vllt kann mir jemand helfen.Habe ein interrail promotional pass gekauft.Dieses kann ich jedoch nicht in die App integrieren, um beim TGV einen Platz zu buchen-passnummer wäre falsch 😑Wie kann ich trotzdem einen Platz im tgv buchen?Wie kann ich mein Ticket mit der App nutzen? 

Hello fellow travelers :)Munich - Bari - Athens - Tirana - Pristina - Skopje - Belgrade - Zagreb - Rijeka - Ljubljana - Venice - MunichThat’ll be my route for September. I've done a lot of research over the past few days and I think the Balkans will be an adventure to travel with Interrail. There will certainly be some routes on which I won’t use my Interrail ticket and will take the bus.But this will also be my first Interrail trip, I've never been to the Balkans so I have no experience at all.With sales coming to an end and the special 1€ refund upgrade ending at midnight, I wonder if it is better to travel with a mobile pass or the paper pass?The routes in the Balkans are currently closed due to Covid and it will be difficult to predict how it’ll be in September. I am hoping for a chance to travel a lot by train. I also want to remain flexible and see myself asking about the travel routes/conditions for the next day on site.

I have an resident permit / Aufenthaltstitel in Germany, am I eligible to use Interrail? I saw on the condition that I have to be a permanent resident of EU to use Interrail but in another condition it only says ‘resident of EU’. Can I use the Aufenthaltstitel as my proof of residence? 

Hi everyone,I am planning on travelling to Italy soon and going to the major cities (Milan, Venice, Florence, Rome, Naples + the Cinque Terre coast). Does anyone know if the Eurail pass allows me to get on high speed trains between cites? I don’t want to sit on a train for 5+ hours! Haha

Does somebody know the reason for why it’s no longer possible to order the Paper Pass? A week ago when I first tried to get the Pass it was still an option, but back then I didn’t have enough money on my credit card.. I really don’t want to rely on the battery of my phone to have a valid rail ticket when I’m traveling!I also find it weird that the eurail team doesn’t seem to have a proper Contact Address for these kinds of issues. They didn’t answer to my facebook message.

We are looking to buy the German one-country pass.  I saw that the pass can be used on the S-Bahn, but I’m wondering if using it there will use up a travel day of the pass?  Also, our travel dates start in one month and end in the next (total of 6 days).  Does the 4-days in one month pass have to be used in one calendar month or can it overlap months?

Hi!I’m planning on doing a route that goes from Split - Zagreb (21:40h-5:47h) and then Zagreb-Prague (7:25h-19:17h). Does this count as 2 travel days?

Hallo Community,Ich will auch endlich meinen Traum erfüllen und Europa mithilfe des Interrail Global Pass entdecken.Ich möchte mit der Option 7 Tage in einem Monat reisen, frage mich aber, ob man über zwei Monate hinweg reisen kann (z.B Ende August - Anfang September), so dass die 7 Tage innerhalb von 30/31 Tagen gelten oder ob man in einem festen Monat reisen muss (z.B nur September oder nur August).Ich würde mich über eine Antwort freuen :) 

Does it include unlimited travels within 4 days (like taking 8 ferries) or does it mean only 4 travels in total?Thank you!

Hi, i have bought a pass valid for 10 days in two months.I plan to make  several different day trips to another country and return from each trip back home.In my case that would mean i would need  3 outbound days and 3 inbound days.Which trip should i select for my outbound or inbound day?

Hi there,I have activated my pass, with a first travel planned soon. But I can't make a reservation for this trip. When I choose the departure and arrival station, I see my trip appearing but I can't choose myself as the traveller.I guess I have to add a traveller to my trip but don’t understand how to do it as I have a mobile pass and not a “paper” pass. Could anybody hep me with that ?

So I’m planing to do a trip from Naples to Paris (with stops along the way), and the travel time is 6 days. I had a question thought, does it include accommodations (either on the train or in hotel) or do we have to find them ourselves? Thanks and have a nice day!Jacob Archibald

Hello, I am a non european citizen but I will be a resident on the 24th of june. I am starting the first day on the 26th of june. I wanted to plan for my trip and didn't want to buy it last second. Is it okay if I still use eurail or will it not work for me since i've become a resident in europe? I already bought the eurail pass because I didn't know how long it would take to activate everything. If I'm not allowed, is there a way to change it to interail? Thank you
