Hello, I am planning to go interrailing in three weeks and starting to book train reservations. I noticed that, for example, when travelling from Wien to Bratislava, Rail Planner App says that you don’t need a reservation. But how can I be sure that there is room in the train 3 weeks from now if I don’t book a seat?? This is making me stress a lot because I don’t want any surprises, like missing the train, when travelling😅

Hi,I’d like to take an overnight train from Hamburg to Copenhagen. On the official Interrail website it says that reservations aren’t required, but in the official Interrail app it says that they are. Which one is correct?Thanks!Anna

Hi peeps, we have arrived in Italy with a prepaid Eurail pass and it has failed us already. We have a booking reference number from our agent… problem is that we a) we havent travelled yet and our mobile pass says that we have used day 1 of our 4 days in one month...have yet to step foot on a train.we do not know how to load or access the booking number. the pass 1st class Eurail Italy Mobile Pass 4 days in one month already paidCan anyone out there help me please as we need to catch the train tomorrow morning  and nobody here seems to be able to help and we cannot contact our agent as it is the middle of the night in Australia.ThanksCorinne :)

Bonjour. J’ai un problème avec mon Interrail Global Pass. Je n’ai actuellement utilisé que 9 journées de voyage, dont 1 outbound, mais l’application me considère 10 journées de voyage utilisées. L’application me bloque au 31 Août mais je souhaite utiliser ma dernière journée de voyage le dimanche 4 septembre. J’ai déjà réservé mes places pour les trajets requis du 4 septembre.Svp aidez moi à finaliser ma réservation et débloquer l’application car j’ai encore 1 journée utilisable sur mon Global Pass. Merci beaucoup  

Hi there! So I’m in Barcelona right now and yesterday I went to the train station to get a seat reservation to Bordeaux St Jean and they told me I could only get one for the transit train to Nerbonne, wich I did and the seat reservation from Narbonne to Bordeaux I should get when I’m in France or online. But when I was trying to get it online It asks me for a “Interrail cover number” but the thing is I have the mobile pass and not the paper format. I won´t be in france until exactly the day of my journey, and the missing seat reservation is for the train I would need…. so it would be really risky to wait until minutes before departure to go in person to the service at the station and ask for buying the seat reservation. That is really risky. If that doesn´t work, I lost the following connections for what I already have reservations.Could somebody with experience on this help me, please? I cannot believe that this risky way is really the only way…Thanks a lot in advance!Cheers,Tim.

By accident my mobile deleted all the data of the apps including the data of the Interrail, when trying to log in it warns me that the pass is activated on another device when it is the same one. I leave on Thursday, September 1, and I wouldn't want to miss the trip so I hope this is fixable. I’ve already emailed to the two costumer services available. I’m scared that I wont get a response that’s why I’m reaching for help through all means

If my smartphone is stolen during my trip with my pass and I have to buy regular tickets, will these also not be refunded?With a police report that my smartphone was stolen.

Buenas! Estamos haciendo el interrail 3 personas y nos hemos encontrado con un problema. El sábado dia 3 de septiembre cojemos el tren dirección Milan y no nos deja poner el intinerario en el pase. Sin embargo nos pide que añadamos un 5º viaje. Cuando compramos la reserva de asientos, el viaje de Berlin - Florencia (18:31 Berlín Hbf a 08:23 venezia y luego nos marcaba un transbordo de 08:40 a 10:39 hacia firenze) nos lo contaba como un único viaje y nos hemos encontrado que nos lo ha contado como dos viajes del pase. De hecho, antes no nos lo contaba así porque tenemos la reserva de asientos del siguiente tren con destino a milan. Que podemos hacer para poder añadir el viaje a nuestro pase?

Hi guys,I'm planning to travel from Karlstad (Sweden) to Oslo (Norway). The app tells me to buy seat reservations for both trains that I have to take. However I am unable to book the reservation for the train that enters Norway trough the interrail website. How do I make my reservation instead and is this an issue common in Norway?Thank you for your help in advance!Marie :)

I have recently paid for seat reservation tickets but got no confirmation email afterwards, similar to many users here. I have read through the posts and the consensus is that the order did not go through, I am to wait for a refund/raise a ticket (which I have done). Another question to ask is I understood I can book for “seat only” tickets on https://www.oebb.at/ for my Venice → Rome leg. However for my Paris → Basel Sbb, I cannot seem to find a website online that I can book seat reservations for the TGV Lyria. So where else should I look? (Considering I might not want to wait till few days before the trip to buy at the physical station)I hope some of the more experienced community members here might be able to help me figure it out, thank you!

Hey,The latest day of activation for my mobile pass (7 days within one month) is tommorow, 31/08/2022. Does the activation day have to be my first travel day?or can I choose the first travel day within one month?If I have to start traveling on latest activation day, is it possible to just not use this travel day?thank you!

We will be using an EU Interrail Ticket Global Pass and therefore only have the reservation and not a ticket itself.The news update explains that if our journey is cancelled we will be informed one week before our trip. This is honestly an incredible short notice and we would like to search for alternatives if we are affected.Is there any information if our ticket will be canceled before that? Is it possible to use a different train and reschedule to that one even if it takes longer?We already started a chat with SJ customer support. They told us that the train is already full so we can no rebook to the couchette cars reservation. Since the eurail reservation has not been working for the past two days, I’m trying to book seat reservations through italiarail.com. There, I found a help article (https://www.italiarail.com/pages/italia-rail-reservations-and-supplements) with these instructions:Reservations can be made directly at a train station or by using the City to City search tool on our website. For seat reservation booking choose "I have a railpass".The trouble is, I don’t see that option anywhere when I try to book one. Does anyone know how to do so?

Me and 3 other friends are planning to go from Belgium to Zagreb by train. When I want to book my reservations at the interrail site it says we need to make a reservation for going from Munich to Zagreb. The only option is by paper ticket, but the delivery date is too late so I looked at the OBB site to make a reservation. It says there are no tickets available. Does this mean that the train is fully booked or I need to get my reservations on another site??Also on the Deutsche Bahn site it says reservations are impossible…. 

Hey everyone  Just a bit confused at the moment. I have used the rail planner map to plan my trip and I am planning on catching 5 train. 1) London to Amsterdam2) Amsterdam to Munich3) Munich to Zurich4) Zurich to Strasbourg5) Strasbourg to ParisJust confused that the rail planner app is recommending me to get a 6 travel day pass? (I will be flying in to London and flying out of Paris) 

If I reserve and pay for seats on a train through Interrail does the reservation appear on my ticket or do I need to print it off 

I was hoping to do this trip:Brussels/Paris - ViennaVienna - HamburgHamburg - Stockholmbut unfortunately for early September these are sold out. Are there any other night trains that are a bit less popular and I’d still be able to get reservations for the first few weeks of September?Also the new Hamburg - Stockholm sleeper seems to be completely unavailable right up to mid-December. I can’t find a single date that has booking available. Is that because every single ticket has been sold out?

Hello, I have question about reservations on the INterrail timetable. I need to travel from Brasov Romania on Oct 24 to Sofia Bulgari but I cant see reservation options for the routes. is it too soon to book? I dont think it is sold out as even if I try November dates I cant see any option to book a reservation. Hi, my pass was working fine until today. I had all my tickets and travel days planned but when I entered the app today, my pass wasn’t linked to my trip (called ‘eurotrip’). The app made me enter my pass number again and created a new trip called ‘my trip’, this one is empty and started 1 day early. The app won’t let me link again the one I already have. What can I do?

I have the One Country Pass for France. Can I use this one from Mulhouse to Paris on the TGV Lyria?Or is it on the TGV Lyria not valid? Thanks!

My girlfriend and I bought a 3 months mobile global pass on the 10th of May, here in 2022. When is the last possible date that we can activate and hereby begin our 3 months interrail trip? Just to be sure that we understand the 11-months principle. Sincerely, Karen and Anders from Denmark.
