Sharing a free travel day with a friend

dear all,I am wondering about one question, which I cannot clarify therefore:Is anyone of you experienced with sharing a free travel day with a friend?  E.g. travelling from Prague to Munich with your Global pass and writing 2 times the same destination to the pass? (one for you and one for the friend, who accompanied you).Waiting for your experienceigor

Is Eurail Pass all inclusive ?

Hello ! I’m new, this might already have an answer somewhere but didn’t find anything.I’m considering getting one, but I red online that in some situations you might have to pay an overhead cost to travail.Is every train Europe => Europe included ? What are the exceptions I should know about ? Thank you !

Train without reservation - France

Hi!I will be taking a Train from Nice to Italy tomorrow and it does not requiere a reservation. But since France has those automatic controlls and no conductor, I am wondering if the QR Code in the App will be accepted and let me pass through? Because in the last trains I only scanned the paper reservation ticket and never used the Code from the App. Any experience? another question: is it mandatory to print the E-Ticket reservations for Trains in Italy?

Seat reservations but no travel day?

Hi folks! I’m traveling from Alba to Zürich in September and have booked my seat reservations on the train, however I’m unable to book the same time for my travel day since the time does not exist on the rail planner app! Im supposed to take the route that starts 06:07 (earlybird I know), but the earliest journey the app shows me is 07:07. Also the rail planner app shows different trains than the reservations I’m offered. What would you guys do? Any advice?

Mobile pass disappeared completely

Dear community,I have been experiencing a lot of issues using the mobile pass in Interrail's own app. I have been trying to get support from the customer service for more than two weeks now but only received one standard answer to update the app which didn't help me further since my app was and still is up to date. Please let me know if you have any idea how to fix the issue I'll describe below.In the beginning of my travels everything seemed to work fine. After a while different sections of the app (journey details, ticket with QR code,...) started disappearing again and again, I could first help myself by taking screenshots during the times when the app was working. However, for more one week I am not able to access My Pass and My Trip, I can not see my ticket or my journey at all. It looks like I never added a ticket but when trying to add my pass again, it says that "This pass is already on your device". It just seems to be locked or hidden for me in some way. I don't dare uninstal

Bonjour la communauté, j’ai une question à vous poser concernant le pass Europe, j’ai opté pour un pass 7 jours sauf que je rentre chez moi en avion, est ce que c’est possible d’utiliser les jours restants pour se déplacer dans le pays d’origine (France) pour information j’atterris à Nice et je dois rentrer chez moi à Paris. Global Pass Usage

Hi all! I am looking to book a post graduate Europe trip with my college roommates and was wondering what it would mean if we booked the 15 or 22 day Global pass? I see that it says we have 15 rides or 22 rides depending on the package we choose, but I was wondering if it means I have to use all the passes in a row? Or is it that I have the 15 rides for a certain amount of time and as long as I use them in that time frame it is one price? Any answers or advice will be helpful!

Exchange of 2020 global pass

Dear Interrail Team,I have requested an exchange of my 2020 global pass after my journey was interrupted due to covid measures in spring last year. Following your advice I asked for exchange at the train station where I purchased the original pass. The staff there had no clue and told me to contact Interrail directly. That's what I did more than a week ago and I'm still waiting for a reply. I want to start traveling on 11th August and would really appreciate your reply before that date.Thanks,Marco

How to make seat reservation?

Hi,My girlfriend and I are so hopeless trying to find out how to reserve seats. Can you please give us detailed instructions on how to do that?We tried the seat reservation via the app and the train website as well. We just couldn't figure it out.Our trip is on 12 August at 10:19 from Brindisi, Italy, to Nijmegen, the Netherlands. Hey community, in September I will travel for the first time with an Interrail global pass from Germany to Switzerland. Does anybody know if I can use my pass or get a discount for the funicular in Lugano to Mount San Salvatore? Can't make a seat reservation: KARLSRUHE HBF (Germany) - PARIS EST (France)

Hi Interrail Community!I have now been trying for som hours to make a seat reservation for the train that goes from KARLSRUHE HBF to PARIS EST (Monday, August 16, 2021, 06:05 PM - 08:47 PM), and i must now realise that i don’t have the ability to do so. Night train reservation from Zagreb-Split

Hey fellow travelers! :-)I'm travelling through Croatia in the end of July this summer, and I want to take a night train from Zagreb to Split. Though, I cant seem to figure out where to purchase the reservations? Only for the day trains, but I really want to get a night train to save travel days and also money... :-) Most online places I've visited just dont seem to offer it, so maybe its sold out or what? Or can I risk it and wait until I get to a bigger train station? Like in Ljubljana? Any help is welcome! :-)

Traveling from UK as European union citizen

Hello guys Does anybody of you have experience traveling from UK to France, Germany, Czech Republic (probably Belgium or Netherland) as I plan to go back home after almost 2 years locked here in UK (to Slovakia) and I'm thinking if anybody can give me some tips how you traveled especially now during Corona times ... How were the borders, did they check some document, which documents I have to have. I checked my route and it should go to Paris then Frankfurt then Prague or Vienna and to Slovakia  Thanks a lot

Seat reservation error ''something went wrong with your order''

We encountered some problems while making seat reservations. we got an email informing us that “Something went wrong with your order”. Since we depart in one week’s time we were wondering if they  will be able to re-book our seat-reservations in time or if we should look for another correspondence?

Interrail seat reservations not showing in account

I made several seat reservations and received e-tickets via email. I could also see all my booked reservations on my Interrail account when I logged in. After I activated my pass on the mobile app, the seat reservations are no longer in my Interrail acount! It now says”You have no recent reservation orders.” How can I view my seat reservations again in my Interrail account?

Nightjet - unforeseen transfer due to construction works

When we made reservations for our train and planned our trip there was no construction work planned in Italy. But tomorrow we leave Budapest to go to Rome with the nightjet from Vienna and have to have a transfer in Bolonga. We planned it exactly so it would only take one day, because we board the train before midnight and were not supposed to have a transfer. With the transfer it would take an extra day on our interrail and we simply don't have room for that. So do we need to make room in our days and pay our self for a ticket for the extra trainday or is this covered by the rail company?

Impossible to make a reservation / Imminent departure; Paris - Munich

Hi, We are unable to make seat reservations for our Paris - Munich trip tomorrow pm (08/08). Prices aren(t shown.We have contacted the Interrail support team but it appears they are receiving too many requests and wont be able to answer us in time.We have checked on the national railway company website: there are still seats available. However, we can't find a way to book seats with an “interrail option”. It seems the number of Interrail seats are limited, but we have never been informed of this… Do you have any information that could help us ?Many thanks, Julie

Global Pass 5 day in 1 month

So here is my situation: I am coming in from California, my first day in Europe is September 5th (Madrid), then to Barcelona (September 7th), then on to Switzerland (September 10), where I plan to be for several days and travel within the country.I bought a 5-day within 1 month first class global pass, so my question is, what counts as a travel day? Is local transportation included and counts as a travel day?Thanks

Missing train connection in the interrail app

Hi, we habe a mobile pass and we planned our trip with the train connections of the deutsche Bahn App. The Problem is that the train connections that we planned with aren’t existing in the interrail app. Now we want to activate our pass but we have to add our train connections that aren’t existing here. Can we use the train connections of the deutsche Bahn App for our mobile pass because only with them we can visit the places that we would like to visit. We also saw that Deutsche Bahn and interrail are cooperating partners so it would be possible right?

Wrong name on pass and after 6 days still no answer from Eurail

I’am waiting for 6 days now for an answer from Eurrail to change my name on my mobile pass. Is there a way to do this yourself in the account? I haven’t activated te pass yet, but I need the pass soon.
