End of July, I’m traveling from Germany to Sicily, so far, so good. For my way back, 12th of August 2025, I would like to take the Inter City Notte from Milazzo to Milano. Somehow, there is no possibility yet to get seat reservations in August. Is there a problem with the railway or is it just too early to book? Thank you :)

Hi fellow travellersI’m looking for route suggestions to travel from Malaga to lisbon.  Hopefully using my eurail pass. I understand that the high speed trains require a seat reservation.  I’ve also been reading that seat reservations will have to be made at a train station in Spain.  Is this still the case? I’m travelling in October and the Eurail website states that seat reservations can only be made 90 days in advance.  I’m hoping I can make the seat reservations online🤞Thanks team in advance.Sab 

The seat reservations in shopping cart have expired and can’t be removed. Have accumulated an unwanted amount in cart. How do you empty shopping cart?

Hello everyone! I purchased a Eurail pass and booked seat reservations from London to Amsterdam a week ago with no problems. I am now trying to book seat reservations from Amsterdam to Warsaw. I was able to secure the seat reservations from Amsterdam to Berlin, but when I go to book them from Berlin to Warsaw, it gives me the following message: “No longer available. This seat reservation is only available as paper ticket and can't be delivered to you in time. Try booking in person at the station.” My main concern with this is that when I arrive at the Berlin station (with 2 hours in between trains) that all seat reservations will be sold out. I don’t want to spend money on actual tickets as I have gotten the pass and would like to use the seat reservations. I would appreciate help with this if anyone has had experience with the same thing in the past or has any advice that might help me! BonjourJe suis résidé a Paris J’envisage de voyager plusieurs régions en France Le pass continus de 22 jours ou 1 mois est utilisable pour voyager ?Par exemple :  un aller retour une journée de Paris à Le Havre, un aller retour de Paris à Tours,un aller de Paris à Bordeaux puis de Bordeaux à Dax et le lendemain de Dax à Tarbes, etc Juste pour savoir si ce pass continus est utilisable, c’est  pour remplacer le pass rail MerciCordialement

This will probably sound like a stupid question but the instructions are not clear to me.I have an electronic pass. I have set up a trip which will start in the middle of August. I have all the reservations for the journeys that require them, all but one I got from the train lines.The website and app make it seem like I need to add, somehow, all the journeys that I will be taking.   I have a list that I have made with all the details-date, times, train, etc.  For those journeys that don’t require a reservation do I just show the pass on my phone when I board?Thanks

Hello,I have purchased seat reservations on the Bernina Express and I am about to do the same for the Glacier Express. I chose reservation only as I will be purchasing a Eurail Global Pass very shortly and intend to use that for the ticket itself. A local travel agent has advised to book the ticket itself and link the seat reservations immediately as I risk not having a seat on my chosen travel date. I am wondering if this is correct as I was under the impression that a seat reservation was a guarantee of seat. I am reluctant to link the reservation just yet and book the ticket itself as I understand this deems my Eurail pass non-refundable as it is ‘activated’ and my trip is still some time away. Can anyone please confirm if this is correct?

However, on our trip from Amsterdam to Berlin we decided to book an European Sleeper through the interrail web.Is it necessary to add that reservation to my pass or can i enter the train only by showing the ES ticked i have reserved?If it is necessary, how do I add it to a travel day?Thanks

Hi, I am struggling to find a train from Budapest to Zagreb on July 10th 2025. Would anyone be able to help me out? I tried to book one on MAV website although it came up with reservation error every time. I would appreciate any help, thanks.

On our first day of travel we have to get to St Pancras (from Reading) to access our booked Eurostar train.That means travelling on a peak time GWR train that would normally cost £60 in rush hour. I know that domestic travel on the day of commencement and day of returning home are covered by my pass--but how do I access tyhat? Do I just show up at Reading station and ask to get on the peak rate train by showing my Interrail pass--or do I have to book a train with the benefit of my pass?And likewise, what is the prorocal coming home?

Heyyy, my name is Ilma and I‘m a 18 y/o female who lives in West-Germany and I‘m looking for travel buddies who might have the same or similiar destinations.I thought about travelling to France, Spain and Italy and staying about 3-4 days in the capitals and then another 3-4 days in another city in those countries.We wouldn’t need to be travelling the whole 30 days together and or paths may split, but that wouldn’t be a problem - it would just be nice to not be whole time alone. :)

Hello Interrail community,I bought the global pass 15 days within 2 months. Within this trip I would like to go on the first month on a big trip (visiting 4 countries and several cities, but of course starting from my country of residence) using about 11 travel days and on the second month (weeks later after my first trip) i want to travel to only one other country/destination.I read, that you are only allowed to travel twice within your county of residence. So does that mean, when my first trip ends, the way from my origin country and back is not included anymore for my second trip?The second trip would be from Austria (country of residence) to Amsterdam.Thanks a lot for your time and help!Kind regards,Andreas

Hi everyone, I’m a swiss person planning to travel around from Basel, as I live here. I know that Badischer Bahnhof counts as Germany, which is very useful. I know that Basel SBB is also on the french boarder, but unfortunately in the app there is no option to pick SBB (France).  Do you know if that still works, let’s say I travel from Basel SBB to Barcelona? Or would it be helpful to just pick a trip from St.Louis to Barcelona and pay the first little bit?  Thanks for your help! 

Hello! I'm leaving soon on my Interrail pass. I want to take a train from Paris to Luxembourg on the morning of June 28th. But it says the information isn't available. What should I do? How do I reserve a seat? Or can I get on without a reserved seat?

Hi, I want to buy an interrail pass for the summer, but I am not sure yet, how many travel days I will need. This is why I do not want to buy a pass yet. However, I already know that I would like to travel from Brussels to London at one specific day. I read in this post https://community.eurail.com/ask-the-community-40/making-eurostar-reservations-before-buying-pass-15151?tid=15151&fid=40 that you can make seat reservations before buying a pass by entering a 8-digit random pass number.However, the website tells me that my random pass numbers are invalid and does not allow me to proceed with the booking. I also tried the pass number of an ancient pass, but it leads to the same problem.Do you know how to solve this issue ?Is there still a way of making Eurostar seat reservations before buying a pass ? Thank you in advance !Best wishes,Anne 

Hello, everybody.I have a kind of “extreme scenarios” questions.I bought a global pass, 15 days within 2 months.I have some problems, and I have to split my vacation into two different periods this summer.Scenario 1:I use my inbound/outbound, but I still have left some days of travel. How does it work?Can I use them anyway within the 2 months? (Of course I need to exit and come back in my country at my expense).Scenario 2:Can I use all 15 days outside my country of residence?So, instead of counting 2 days as inbound/outbound, just use them as normal days of travel outside my country of residence?Thank you!Marco
