Hi all!Guys I have a question I bought the interrail 15 days ticket, but I’ll be on the trip for more days. But I will be using 15 travel days in total probably. Would you recommend me exchanging my ticket for the 15 days in one month. Or since I am travelling southern europe it doesn’t really matter cause the reservations might be pretty expensive anyways? Thanks!

Hi, what a nightmare trying to navigate with seat reservations...thought travelling by train through Europe was suppose to be easy!! So far have had to pay for seat reservations for each journey and now trying to book Eurostar to London and through a different website it will cost 90 euros with the Europass. TBH at the point of wanting to cancel the lot. Seems everyone is having the same problem with seat reservations. Sorry for the moan just fed up with it now.

Hello,I want to book the reservations for the seats, where it is required. But in Spain and partly in France I cant reservate the seats and it saysmthat I have to book them at the train station. The chance that the seats aren’t available anymore when I get to the train staions are pretty big. Especially because we are a group of 8.So what shoul/could I do? How can I reservate the seats without being in Barcelona e.g.? The second thing is, that there was a chance to do the reservation from Bordeaux to Boulogne online. When I got to the website it said, that they need the pass cover number (from the paper pass) but I don’t have it, because I booked the mobile pass. What schould I do? Greetings and thanks

Hey there, I have activated my 22 day global interrail pass, and have been trying to book some reservations on trains throughout our trip from July 21-August 11. For practically every train that requires a booking, I can’t figure out how to actually book it. It either says prices not available, or otherwise does not appear to let me access a booking page. The main train reservation I want to book is the euronight from Split to Budapest on the 30th July, and I have the same problems when trying to book through the Ceske Drahy site as well. However, I am finding this problem on nearly every other route as well on the eurail site, and wondering if I am missing something? Thanks in advance for any help!

My daughter and I are leaving for Europe tomorrow.  I ordered paper global passes one month ago and they’re stuck in customs.  I have sent multiple emails and filled out a form requesting a transfer to the online passes, without having to pay the normal fee they charge for that.  I haven’t received any response.  What do I do now?

Hi fellow travellers, I'm gonna travel by train from La Spezia to Venice, with a short transfer at Pisa Centrale. Is 8 minutes enough time to transfer train?Thank you very much for your answer.

Can I book trains without activating my passes? We don't have our passports yet.

Our global passes are valid 23 June (we just changed the date of our passes tarting 3 July), and we were able to book a first seat reservation on 26 June from Naples to Rome. When I went to book a second reservation for Rome to Venice on 29 June, however, it says “this pass isn't valid on this date.”  Our passes start 23 June now and we were able to book that first reservation. Is it a glitch? We are able to book after 3 July, which makes me think so but can’t get anyone at Eurorail to help - the bot and Messenger can’t help.

Hello, A newbe to all of this.  I have a 3 month paper global pass with a pre-determined start and end date.  Will I still need to get the start of my pass validated when I commence usage?  Am I required to fill in every journey even flight or bus despite this being a continuous pass?Thanks for your help.

Hi everyone,I bought a two month global pass to use this summer. I started adding some journeys to the trip connected to my pass. In addition, I already made some seat reservations for some of these trains via bahn.de.I was thinking to activate my pass on the day I would take my first train this summer,  as I am not 100% sure which day this will be. But now I am in doubt that this would be too late: Is it possible that when you don’t activate your pass well in advance, it may be too late to actually get on board as all interrailer spots are already “taken” for that train? If so, then I’d like to activate the pass now and choose a start date somewhere in July. Just in case it would be necessary: is it later also possible to advance the start date chosen upon activation?Thank you!

I want to register them on the website to plan my trip and make my reservations.On my paper passes I have a 12-digit pass number and no letter. And on the website I am asked for a number with a letter and 8 digits. I can't save my passes so I can't plan my trip!How to do ?Thanks a lotSincere friendships,

Hi all, I need the pass cover numbers for two e-tickets that I bought in order to book a Eurostar journey. It seems like I can only book the train I want through B-Europe which require this information. I have tried ringing the SNCF to see if they can help me but they say that they cannot.  Any help would be greatly appreciated. 

Hello, I activated my mobile pass on my Ipad which I do not want take with me on the journey. I tried to delete the pass on my Ipad since the validity period did not start yet, but it did not work. Does anybody know what I can do to remove the pass from my Ipad so that I can activate it on my mobile phone? Thanks for your help!

I booked 2nd class seat reservations, this is what is on my confirmation email, but on some of the tickets it states a 1st or business class seat. Will this be a problem?

Hey guys, My Train from Leipzig to Mannheim are delayed and because of that, I will miss the following trains to Paris. But I have a seat reservation from Offenburg to Paris. What should i do? Can I use any other train, without a reservation? bescause on the eurail-webside is no train free for a seat reservation.  I look forward that anyone can help me. thank u! 

Good morning,it is not clear yet to me if is there any possibility to add a travel day to my pass, when already on it.For example, I am going to purchase a 3 days pass, but my travelling days will include coincidences. In case some train runs late (I am going to Norway, I do not know how often that could happen) and I loose the coincidence, I will need one more travel day. Will it be possible to add it?Thanks to anyone may answer!

Est ce qu'il y aura un coût supplémentaire pour l'achat des billets ? I am wanting to do some travel in Europe with my family this summer.  There are four of us.  But it hinges on being able to travel from Paris to Barcelona on the 10.10 train on 16 July.I have tried to find out whether it would be possible to book tickets on this train before buying the Interrail pass.  But I can’t work out how to do it.Is there a way of doing this, or could somebody please check for me. Thanks

Has anyone been able to resolve this issue  Names with apostrophe on ticket don’t seem to be able to book seats. Seems ridiculous. Now looking at buying a new ticket without using apostrophe and looking for a refund on the other ticket. Any advice would be greatly appreciated 

I have found a 2nd class empty couchette travelling23/07/22 at 21.41Austerlitz to Nabonne 07.10 that I wish to reserve for my family ( of 5)  but take the whole carriage. When speaking to the very helpful staff a SNCF they have reserved bookings over two fist class carriages as we have 1st class interrail tickets and informaing me it’s not possbile to take the second class as I will incurre a fee/fine on the train. Any advise or insight would be much appreciated.Thank you in advance

Do I need to book journeys in sequence of travel? For example outbound journey is Glasgow to London then Eurostar to Amsterdam. Eurostar tickets harder to get so should I book this first? Easier to get train for the first leg.

Hello there,consider this:I’m from Germany (Eastern Germany to be exact, that is also important for my question) I’ve got a global Pass that is valid for 2 MonthsI have read through many different situations on this forum but still can’t find an answer to the following question: I will be in France and want to travel back to Germany but I do not want to waste my inbound journey for a weekend in my hometown. I know that I can travel through Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Austria and Czech Republic. And I will do so. I found a nice night train that runs from Zürich to Prague without stopping in Germany - so far so good- but it still goes through Germany for some km. Am I allowed to use this? I sent a picture of the running Map of the train right down there.I’ll just take the s-bahn with my 9-Euro Ticket from the border of Czech Republik for the last Meters.I am looking forward to your answers! 

Hello,I had trouble booking seat reservations via the Interrail reservations page for Brussels-Paris Thalys operated train so I called the customer service and bought the reservation there. I have a global 2nd class interrail pass and I was told that they are out of 2nd class seats but can sell me the comfort seat. I said I’ll take that since I thought that maybe then I’ll just be charged with a higher fee (the reservation was 25 €). When I got the reservation via email, it said pass comfort and 1st class. Now I’m worried that can I actually use this reservation with my 2nd class pass.
