Me and my wife was planing to travel this year with the train instand of flying (good for our planet) i just buy the 7 day pass and try to book my travel but it look like all train fro holand or belgie to Biarritz, France (i live close to the belgie border)are fully booked,is there a way that i can travel with the train? (i try now for 4 days and dont find normal way)It my first time that i try it and dont what to cancel the pass before i know i try everything.Thanks Tsafi

I am planning to go from Amsterdam to Paris this thursday the 20th of July. I already knew that I won’t be able to take the TGV that goes straight to Paris Nord, but I saw that there were other options available. Now that I am deciding which train to take, I am confused. I clicked the button ‘no reservation needed’ on the interrail website and it gives me the option to go from Amsterdam-Antwerp-Paris. For both parts of the travel it says ‘ you’re ready to board’  as if there is no reservations required. However, when i went to check real-time timetables of the trains on the dutch train website (NSinternational) it said the trains were fully booked and that it was actually a thalys (and not an intercity, as it says on the interrail website). The  train code numbers and departure times are exactly the same on both websites, but NS says it is a thalys and interrail says it is an intercity. Hello, I’m trying to plan for a trip to Barcelona From France and was hoping for some advice on how to access the trains. I have a Eurail pass and would like to take the cheapest option, would I be able to buy the tickets to enter Spain in France or at the station with the applied discount? Also, does the Eurail pass work inside the borders of Spain as well, can I take a train to Portugal from within with my pass?

Hi Some months ago I bought a train reservation for Bologna to Milano at 11:05 on 14/8 (intercity 604) via the interrail website. However, today I tried to find the train on railplanner and I cannot find it, but I need to add the train to my digital pass… What should I do? Is there another way to find it? Thanks a lot!!

Are the night trains with beds to sleep inside them included in the global rail pass ?

Our family of four was so excited about our upcoming trip to UK next week. It is our first time to visit the country and friends here. However, planning this trip is far more difficult than what we have imagined.  We bought the global pass saved all the journeys to the app. Unfortunately, we learned that the strikes will affect our train schedule.We will arrive Heathrow terminal 3 on 20 July at 6pm and want to take a train to Cambridge directly.  We would like to knowhow long does it normally takes to get through the custom and security at Heathrow? Will there be any train from airport to Cambridge on the night of 20 July?We planned to go to Birmingham to Cambridge on 22 July. There is only a few trains on the National Rail available. Since we cannot book or reserved these trains via global pass. We are afraid that all the seats will be sold out .We have booked hotels in Cambridge and Birmingham and hope to follow our original plan as far as possible.Hope to hear your advice.

I would like to take a train from Aachen to Horrem with DB (bus 913, replacement bus) but in interrail app information about seat booking is not available. I check in DB site but i don't understand if I have to make a reservation or not, I can only pay the entire ticket. Is it cause by the signature of replacement bus? If so, how can I do?

We will arrive London in the evening on coming Thursday, 20 July. We have 4 global passes and will use them in London, Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam. It’s our first time to use a mobile pass. We would like to know:Shall we activate the pass now? Or shall we activate the pass on the first day to take the train which is 20 July ? After activated the pass, is there a QR Code generated automatically for each journey added in the apps? What about a manually added trip? Can I share the journeys saved in my apps with other pass holders in the same trip? Once a ticket is issued (with QR code), can we change or cancell the journey? For trains that need reservation, we have already got pdf ticket, do we still need the QR code in the app ?    

Hello, I'm going to buy my interrail global pass with Renfe.After that, how can I do to book the different trains that I want? I have to do that in the renfe app or I have to do that in this rail planner app?If it's the second one, will I need the code of my interrail pass or what things will I need?

My email about a train reservation in Italy says the following: 'Remember: you must be able to show physical copies of your reservations ánd your Interrail Pass to the conductor.  This email is not a valid ticket.  So keep your printed copies in a safe place'.Does this mean I only need a physical copy of the reservation or that I also need a physical copy of my interrail pass. If so, how do I get the physical copy of my interrail pass (where can I find it in the app to print it out)?

When I use planner and I need to change trains it says that transfer is by public transport. I am a little confused. Does it mean that it is arranged or do I need to use for example a bus to do that?

Hi everyone,I was interested with my friend to buy a 4 day ticket for the Greek Island to travel in Cyclades in this way:1- Mykonos to Ios2-Ios to Milos3- Milos to Santorinibut consulting both ferry companies included in the pass it seems impossible to reach Ios from Mykonos and Santorini from Milos.Are some islands not included? We would like to understand if we didn’t find the right information or actually these routes are impossible to do. Thank you so much

I’m somewhat confused. The high-speed trains from Paris to Amsterdam are fully booked as usual and the Rail Planer offers me to take the following route for the 30.7.:IC 9339: 12:22 PARIS NORD -  BRUXELLES-MIDIIC 9126: 14:22 BRUXELLES-MIDI - ROTTERDAM CENTRAALIC 1041: 15:51 ROTTERDAM CENTRAAL - AMSTERDAM CENTRAALThe confusing thing is that I can’t find either the IC 9339 or IC 9126 in any other Rail Planer and I’m pretty sure that the IC 9339 is actually the THA 9339 that’s already fully booked.

When I checked Eurostar Interrail availability this morning on the Interrail site it seemed that seats for my day of travel were running short. So I booked a second class seat London to Brussels even though I have a first class pass because that was all it was showing. Now I look again just a few hours later and it is showing full availability for both first (Standard Premier) and second class.Is there anything I can do here to change the seat rservation to Standard Premier without having to pay again? Does this sort of thing happen often?

Hi everyone !  I want to make a seat reservation with my France-Germany pass. When I am not connected with my e-mail adress, the site shows that seats are available. However, the moment I connect, it is impossible to load anything. And the site says that the seats are not available. Can someone help me please ? 

Hi all. I booked a reservation with OBB to take a train from Zagreb Glavni Kol. to Budapest Kelenfoeld, changing at Pragersko. The first train was due to depart from Zagreb at 07.05 on 18/07/23 but has now been cancelled. OBB have sent an email to say there will be a rail replacement bus as far as Savski Marof. However, to get from Savski Marof to Pragersko, it apparently involves taking three regional trains and a 50 min walk across the Croatia-Slovenia border (Harmica to Dobrov).Does anyone know of a better way to get to Pragersko from Zagreb? The suggested route seems extremely time consuming and complex, and I cannot understand why the rail replacement bus is only going as far as Savski Marof. Taking this route would make it impossible for me to get to Pragersko in time for my connection.According to Rome2Rio one can take a bus from Zagreb to Maribor and then a short train from there to Pragersko. I am thinking that this seems to be a better option, but I would appreciate any input

Hello all!i could not find seats on the Eurostar to Paris from London, so i booked to Brussels instead. we still need to get to Paris and i’d like to avoid reservation fees. The timetable on Interrail shows me INtercity trains every 30 minutes or so, but these are non-existant on the french or belgian train sites. not sure who to believe any more! as i am traveling with kids, i would not like to be too disorganized. what do you advise? thanks for your help

Hello people, I have the Interrail France Germany friend Pass and I’m having some troubles using it.I live in Bordeaux (France) and I’d like to visit Berlin (Germany) on July 28, 2023 for a week. From my understanding, I should use a Outbound trip to go Bordeaux-Berlin and an Inbound trip for my return Berlin-Bordeaux. Then I have 7 usable days for train travel within Germany.Here’s the catch, the app won’t let me use my pass to go to Berlin. I must take these trains:Bordeaux - Paris MontparnasseParis Nord - KoelnKoeln - Berlin I can activate my outbound journey for Bordeaux - Paris. They want that I use one of my 7 days for my Koeln - Berlin train. But I cannot use my pass for my Paris - Koeln train (this is the train that crosses the frontier). The app says “Our network doesn’t cover some of theses trains”. Am I missing something? Everytime my train needs to cross the frontier it seems like I can’t use my pass.Also, is that normal that I need to pay 92€ of sit reservation fees for my

I have the Eurail Global Pass and am trying to purchase my seat reservations from Paris to Interlaken and while I am able to add the seat to my cart, it will not let me proceed to payment details. This is what pops up when I try to check out. The seating is not sold out as I’ve tried to purchase the seats on SNCF connect’s website and it’s available. Is this a problem on Eurail’s side? Is there another way to purchase the seat reservations? 

First, this is my first time using your services. Second, I think I activated my 22 days mobile Global pass on July 16, 2023 on your application but I'm not sure if I really activated the mobile pass and if what I do it's ok? I will be traveling from July 22 to August 12, 2023. Will I be able to use it on July 22 and on August 12 too? Third, I would like to know from what date exactly I could start using my 22 consecutive days with my 22 days mobile pass with the information I gave you? Fourth, if I did an activation mistake (e.g. too soon), especially since I haven't used anything yet, how could I fix it? Thanks!

Hola, quiero realizar un viaje a Francia desde Madrid, que es mi lugar de residencia. Mi idea es coger un AVE de Madrid a Barcelona y luego el INOUI desde Barcelona a Paris. Me parece entender que con el one country pass de Francia no podría reservar el AVE, pero el INOUI si aunque salga de Barcelona? Y con el global pass podría reservar los dos? Y si puedo reservar los dos, debo realizar los dos  trayectos el mismo día, o puedo pasar una noche en Barcelona? Esto último teniendo en cuenta que cuenten dos días de viaje claro.También podría hacer el viaje desde Madrid a Irún y de Hendaya a Paris, pero básicamente mis preguntas son las mismas, excepto que entiendo que el tren que sale de Hendaya si puedo reservarlo porque pertenece a Francia.Muchas gracias.

I have manually booked a journey on Intercity train #727 from Lamezia Centrale to Messina Maritima on 21 September but cannot make seat reservations. Eurail and interail both do not show that train but i have booked the train and have a ticket. I dont know how to access the Trenitalia site to just book seat reservations, 

I want to book the TGV 9704 train from Barcelona to Paris on October 3, 2023 but it doesn't seem possible to book. It doesn't let me do it at another time or another day before or after. Do you know what could be happening? I was able to book the other trains for my trip from Paris to other places in the next few days but that train from Barcelona to Paris with SNCF doesn´t let me make the reservation.
